      When in a LD...

When in a lucid dream. Is it the same experience as in being awake? Or is it like
a regular dream in where you realize that you're dreaming ?

It all depends really. Sometimes I've had lucids that seem just as real as can be and sometimes everything looks blurry and wierd. I guess it depends on how aware you are in the dream.

You're seeing it more from your own eyes (feels like that), and it feels very weird. It is kinda hard to explain, you'll find out for yourself eventually. Sometimes you'll get extremely vivid lucids and it'll be very similar to real life, but there'll still be differences.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Lucid dreaming is exactly like real life. The only difference is that your mind's stimuli originates internally, rather than externally.
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

Yes, lucid dreams can be as vivid as real life. They can also be dull, but that's normal. Experienced lders have a lot of vivid and dull ones

I have to move and controll my body just as in real life. I can't just think about it.

But dull LDs ain't boring, I think they are great!

Sometimes it's even better, brighter, intenser. But also dull as said before.
Sometimes you're in full control, sometimes you're just a puppet.

But untill now, it's always great and fascinating. It realy makes you wonder.

Keep on trying and you will experience it yourself.

Almost all of my lucids are extremely vivid, so yes they are just like real life. I can touch, taste, smell, and see very well.

There are times where my vision is a bit blurry, but that's usually when I'm close to waking up, so if I'm able to successfully stabilize the dream, it becomes vivid again.
