I get that feeling alot too. And, I even have the same type of mom as you!

I've found it helps to put a thermal pack or hot water bottle near my extremities, such as my feet or hands. The tingling, 'gotta move' feeling for me tends to feel like my body is numb and cold, and that if it stays that way, it's going to be hard to move the affected areas afterwards. Of course, this is just a feeling, but it still drives me crazy sometimes.

Edit: I also suggest using Yoshi's 'flex freeze' technique...

Also, stretch your palms, wrists, ankles, feet, and any other places you get that sensation in. Putting your foot up against a wall and leaning forward stretches your lower leg and ankles. Pushing your hand backwards also helps. Finally, try curling your hands into fists and keeping them that way by wrapping them in a blanket or something - it helps get rid of that feeling, for me at least.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
