Seems like your on the right path. It may take a while before a lucid dream, but keep with it! All the patience will pay back. |

I've been recording and trying to remember my dreams as well as check the reality frequently. Last night, I had two dreams and woke up in between. In the first dream, I went to a club meeting and got my wallet, clarinet (lol), and something else stolen. I woke up and realized I had been dreaming in between, and then dozed off again. In this next dream, a series of events happened, and I was with my friend after the same club meeting (in the dream) telling her about how in a dream I had lost these items at that meeting (I recall actually saying to her "thank god it was just a dream" and laughing). Funny, huh. |

Close to getting lucid? Yes, I'd say you're getting there. You just need to find a way to ensure that you're going to realize you're dreaming. Mentioning the term dream while you're inside a dream can be an easy way to get lucid, but I recommend you try to locate some dream signs for yourself and RC to get yourself a proper DILD. |

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
Thanks guys! I was curious and wanted to share |

It kind of sounds like you were pretty close to a Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream... if this is something that happens a lot for you (where you fall back to sleep in the same or very similar dream), try reminding yourself while you're in that short awake period that the things you just saw were from a dream... focusing specifically on the fact it's a dream and focusing on something specific from the dream you just woke up from (ex. you had items stolen from you). |

Specific themes, things that appear to be related. I hear or sometimes sing a lot in my dreams. That would be a dream sign for me. |

Well, I think I have discovered a dream sign, but I am not sure how to use it. I go to boarding school and it (the school and people here) seems to be my dream sign. How would one go about utilizing these signs? |

Once more into the breach dear friends, once more! And fear not its darkness, for it is only a figment of my imagination!
