      LucidDreaming.com Scam?

Couldn't really figure out the best forum for this, so hope here is alright.

Wondering if anyone has experience with the site LucidDreaming.com? Quite a few months ago when I was on a lucid dreaming spree (still haven't been able to have one) I went around buying pretty much anything on Lucid Dreaming that I could, books, ebooks, etc.

One ebook I bought was from LucidDreaming.com - the site seems legit. There is info, there is an active forum?

However, I bought the book and recieved a download link to a pdf file that was corrupt and would not open. I sent emails asking for a refund, and never recieved any answer.

I then started recieving - over many many months - numerous calls, always from a different operator, introducing themselves as, "Hi, its [so and so], we're just calling about the business product you ordered from LucidDreaming.com" and then they go on to tell me about the making money product I purchased from LucidDreaming.com and telling me I have been specially selected to have special training in making big bucks.

I assume it's some scam trying to get me to hand over my credit card details over the phone.

Has anybody else had any experience with this website?

Also I guess this is a bit of a warning to be wary of that site.

What was the book? Was it the Lucid Dream on command in 7 days one? Cause that sounds like the scam. I've seen the same setup on a site offering a How to Hypnotize Anyone book. The guy on that site literally has the exact same page layout as the LD book, and says he's only offering a certain amount of copies to the public. He also tells some story about how he learned underground hypnotism, basically, making it sound like some sort of ninja-Matrix-esque cult. He lists what his book is offering, and then has that box at the bottom of the page that say to click there to send him your credit card info "over their secure billing system".

How did they get your number? I assume you had to give it to them when you bought the book? (I'm not online shopping savvy.)

it does sound like a scam. Websites with a lot of "stuff" and gimmicks but very little information are usually scams. The books and CDs that are mentioned are real, but if you order them through the site you might not actually get the product. It's not worth getting your identity stolen. You're better off getting them on amazon.

The CDs can be useful but as for the books they offer less information then what can be found on this website/forum.
