      Muggler's Motivation System!

Not sure if this is the right place, but I thought it suited well.

I know from experience, that a lot of people have trouble staying motivated when it comes to lucid dreaming. "It has been two days and I still haven't had a lucid dream! I quit!" I've heard that a lot, and it sucks for you if you are in that situation, because you are missing out on a lot! So here is what I have thought of! If you would like, I can send you an encouraging message everyday to keep you motivated! Motivation is such a great thing, and by doing this, I can motivate myself, and you at the same time! Just post saying you would like me to do this for you, and start expecting a message the next day!

Sounds like a good idea (though I don't have any use for this service right now)!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Ha! Personaly when I found out about this I automatically thought "boy sounds fun, but it's guna be alot of work." Well worth it thought so I'm motivated enough. I may have only had to ld's so far but my dreams have become extremely vivid. The problem is when I do reality checks in my dream most of the time they work and I should instantly recognize that I'm dreaming but I dont. But recently I added something new to my rc's which recently got me my two recent ld's. First I started putting my phone on vibrate every two hours in my pocket and every time it vibrates I do a reality check and I have to shut off the alarm. Then wheneverI do a reality check I do simple math to get the logical part of my brain working so I can recognize the rc's are working. So In my dreams I should recognize that I;m dreaming easier by my rc's but even if I don't when I go to shut off my phone alarm it won't work because I'm in a dream, instantly realizing I'm in a dream. The downside is that the snooze every 10 minutes goes off so in the dream I will be able to feel a vibrating on my leg but it's worth it. They were short ld's but I jsut got excited and lost it. But they were both recent after starting that so Thats good news.

I'm sorry, but what? This has nothing to do with motivation..

Muggler's sounds abit like Smucker's Peanut Butter.... But yeah motivation is the key preserving agent in lucid dreaming.

Well, I just discovered the first flaw in this system. Apparently I am only able to send 3 messages every 60 minutes. How stupid.. So here is what I propose; instead of me sending you messages, I am depending on you to subscribe to this thread so that you will know every time I post a new motivational message. As for now, this is what I can think of.

Think about all of the things you can do in a lucid dream. You can fly, you can visit other planets, you can use super powers! You can do ANYTHING! Your dreams could be a safe haven for you, a place to relieve stress! A place to become more adept with yourself, learn more about what you like and dislike, and how you would react to certain situations.

I want you to develop a plan, unless you already have. In this plan, you must think about the steps you will take to become a master of lucid dreaming. It does not need to be written down, you do not need to tell me, just know memorize it yourself. An example could be:

      -Get good a recall
-Get familiar with the different techniques
-Get familiar with the different ways to do each technique
      -Practice each technique

This is very basic, but by utilizing the power of this plan, you could relieve some of the stress of how broad lucid dreaming really is! Take things at your own pace, and remember, a brand new world awaits!

You are in a dream, you just don't know it yet. You are in an open field. In front of you is an angry lion, ready to pounce. Once it does, you stick your arm out and turn away in fear. You wish that your arm was as strong as steel, and prepare for the hit. The angry lion opens its mouth and chomps down on your arm. CLINK! The lion has bit your arm! Yet you feel no pain.. You look to see what the lion did, and what that mysterious sound was. There is no marks on your arm, and the lion is slowly backing away. I tap on your arm CLINK CLINK! How is this happening?! My arm is steel! Wait a minute, that must mean that this is a dream!! As you realize this, you quickly start to think of ideas of what to do. You stick out your palm towards the lion, and think, FIRE! As you do so, a stream of fire emerges from your palm and hits the lion. The lion roars, and tries to run away, but you quickly summon weeds to hold down his legs. You telekenetically pick up a piece of the Earth, and smash it on the lion's back. It is dead. You have won.

Haha, that was fun to write. Now imagine all of the fight scenes and abilities you could harness! That would be fun! Someone bugging you in waking life? Destroy them in your dreams!

      Don't give up!

You are in a large park with one of your closest friends. You are both tossing a Frisbee back and forth! Uh oh, your friend threw it too hard and the Frisbee goes whizzing past your head! You think of this as an opportunity to test out some powers. You turn and face the direction that the Frisbee is flying, and in an instant, you run 200 kilometers an hour towards the Frisbee! In two seconds, you are in front of the Frisbee and you catch it with ease. You close your eyes and imagine the Frisbee floating in front of you. You hold out your hands, and the Frisbee is in mid-air floating because of your telekenetic ability! You slowly move your hands in a circle. Slowly, but getting faster, and faster, and faster, until you finally make a motion with your hand as if you are throwing the Frisbee, and it goes FLYING! Towards your friend! You close your eyes and imagine that you are back up close to your friend. When you open them, that is where you are! You teleported! You back up, getting ready for another throw of the Frisbee. You easily catch it. When you think of a way to throw it back, you bring your hands up to your face, and open them so that the Frisbee is resting on your palms. You take a deep breath in, and then you BLOW really hard, and the Frisbee goes flying!

There are so many different ways to throw the Frisbee, like there are of having fun in a lucid dream! Keep it up!

Yessir! I'm just about to write the message now, and remember people, if you would rather me send you the message instead of having to come here to look at it, just let me know. It isn't a problem at all!

The sky is red with ambers and burning buildings. Behind you, the ground is collapsing. Getting closer, and closer, and closer as you run away from it. You are so scared inside. Your life can't be over yet, you still have so much to experience and see! You imagine all of the things you still wished you could see. You think to the past where you wish you could have changed so many moments. You keep running, and running, but then the worst happens. You come to a dead end. A huge brick wall blocks your path. You turn around and face the apocalypse. It's getting closer with every second. You close your eyes and embrace the worst. You hear the ground crumbling, getting closer. Then the strangest thing happens. You hear the ground crumbling past you... How are you still alive? You dare open your eyes, but the curiosity gets the better of you and you open them. You are surrounded in a large energy bubble, being kept alive by your ambitions and goals in life. The memories you have act as a fuel to keep the bubble alive, and intact. But just when you thought everything was okay, the bubble starts to get smaller, and smaller, until finally it gets too small and squishes you. But before it does, you close your eyes and wished for everything to be okay. You hear the burning stop, you sense no more destruction. You open your eyes, fearfully. You are in your living room, surrounded by family and friends. Everyone is having such a good time! You, surprisingly get up and look out the window. To your relief, everything is normal. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and there is no chaos.

Just another example of how anything is possible in your dreams! If this was a real life scenario, you would have been burnt to a crisp in no time Keep it up dreamers!
