      So much deja vu!

I'll be sitting in school, and I'll get this feeling, like I've done this before, like with something my Spanish teacher writes on the board, and then I'll get this feeling, and it's real intense, like I've done it before. Like I've predicted the future almost. Any explanation? Thanks!

obviously your life is very mundane, so chances are you have already done the same thing over and over, so maybe take up a new hobby, change style of music and make new friends, that could possibly stop the deja vu
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

Well you might be experiencing precognitive dreaming you just don't remember the dream.

I dont think its very obvious at all that your life is mundane. I get deja vu quite often too and im pretty sure my life is not mundane. The times when I get deja vu are often when im doing something iv never done before which makes it very wierd as its not posible I could have just done something similar.

I dont think anyone can really explain deja vu though, there are a lot of different theories, I think it must be from dreams that we dont remember but there is definatly something more to it that we dont understand. Im pretty sure its very normal though so dont worry about it

Someone told me that deja vu means your life is right on track. Maybe its your dream self leading you on a subconcious path?

That would be in reference to "synchronicity".

That's one explanation of deja vua...there are many other, much more scientific explanations for deja vu as well.

In particular, this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past). The events would be stored into memory before the conscious part of the brain even receives the information and processes it.
The strongest pathological association of déjà vu is with temporal lobe epilepsy.[5][6] This correlation has led some researchers to speculate that the experience of déjà vu is possibly a neurological anomaly related to improper electrical discharge in the brain. As most people suffer a mild (i.e. non-pathological) epileptic episode regularly (e.g. a hypnagogic jerk, the sudden "jolt" that frequently, but not always, occurs just prior to falling asleep), it is conjectured that a similar (mild) neurological aberration occurs in the experience of déjà vu, resulting in an erroneous sensation of memory.
déjà vu may be a form of familiarity-based recognition (recognition that is based on a feeling of familiarity with a situation) and that laboratory methods of probing familiarity-based recognition hold promise for probing déjà vu in laboratory settings. Another possible explanation for the phenomenon of déjà vu is the occurrence of "cryptamnesia", which is where information learned is forgotten but nevertheless stored in the brain, and similar occurrences invoke the contained knowledge, leading to a feeling of familiarity because of the situation, event or emotional/vocal content, known as "déjà vu".
It will be interesting when they can accurately replicate the experience of deja vu in the lab setting.

Ya but the feeling is like holy crap this has happened in a dream before! but you didn't remember the dream until it happens in waking life so you don't know for sure...
I know people who have had dreams that came true in real life that happened exactly the same in waking life that they did remember before it happened.

I get deja vu quite a lot, esspecially when dreaming.
In the dream I'll be like, oh I've done this before... been here before, and when I wake up I'll have to think for a long time trying to think if the dream place was in my real life, and if not if I had dremt it before, and most of the time I end up thinking that I haven't even drempt it.
Dream goals: Fly (hopfully grow wings), meet some fairies (especially out of a midsummer nights dream), compose a story or poem and remember it when I awake, meet Sylvia Plath or William Shakespeare.

I've had lots of deja vus since I was six. It's simply such a strong feeling of havin seen the now before that it feels it can't be simply your brains having an error with processing information. Though your brains are pretty good at fooling you.

dude - I get the same feeling sometimes, like not just a regular Deja Vu, but an intense feeling that I've remembered remembering something before and I sometimes get a hint of what was going to happen next (because I remember) and often I'm wrong!! But sometimes I'm kinda right - weird. And sometimes I feel like it's something that goes on into infintiy - I remember that I remember that I remember that I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I rememberthat I remember....

Scientists will claim that Deja-vu must be a purely neurological thing but then other scientists, like quantum physicists will say weird things like multiple dimensions are not only possible but probable and that the basic quantity of existence is in a fluctuating state so science, at least at this stage, is not an exact science. I think it is possible that we've already lived our lives before and occasionally remember certain things from those other times through.
