Out of body 'World'

I don't know if this has ever been talked about or researched or anything but here it is. Does anyone else think it would be awesome if people could be in a dream that was maybe like another dimension. Where you could connect with people telepathically and meet people in this 'dream world'. For example say you wanted to meet someone that you met on here but they lived half way across the world. You could both go to sleep and link telepathically and meet in this dream world at any spot that was already decided. I'm not sure how this would completely work (or ever work in that matter) yet but I really enjoy thinking about the idea.

Yup, several shared dreaming thread going on here in "Beyond Dreaming" But it brings up something I've wondered about on the practical side. Wouldn't the contact have to be within or near to your time zone?

i dont think the place/dimension where dreaming happens is limited by time and space, so its propably possible anytime anywhere.
