      Your view on astral projection

Okay let me start by saying when I first started I had no belief in the beyond dreaming stuff. With that being said over the time I have become increasingly interested in astral projection.

But reading peoples post and websites they all have different experiences and thoughts on AP. So I'm just wondering, what's your opinion and experiences with SP?

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Personally, i believe that APs are very possible and a real thing, on the basis that i had one, although it might've been an OBE (i'm not quite sure on the difference). I think most people don't believe it because it involves you being between the two widely accepted planes, the real plane (waking life) and the dream plane. If you want a really long and detailed discussion about APs and other beyond dreaming subjects, I would suggest sending WakingNomad a message. He seems to be the go-to-guy when it comes to this stuff.

it can also be unlucid dreaming. as can everything else in my view

its tricky to seperate them but i would kind of say that lucid dreams take place in your own part of the subconscious whereas astral projections are something like a link between your dreams and other 'real' places. having only had one astral experience its hard to say, but essentially its hard not to view it all as a dream.

i have not got into anything i would consider an astral projection from a lucid dream, however in my one astral trip the best moment of it for me was the realisation that the bizarre place i was in, was essentially the same place i am in when dreaming. i think how you go about doing it will greatly influence how you see and label the experience. eg if you pull off a WILD it will feel more like a projection, whereas a DILD just feels like a normal lucid
