      You have peaked my interest...

As I said, my interest has been peaked and the possibility of Astral Projecting and the like have intrigued me. Is there somewhere that I can find some detailed instruction-like material on this? There is no tutorial on it in the Wiki and search function is failing me. I realize there isn't a sort of fail proof method on it but I can't find anything at all to see how it is different from just falling asleep except people's experiences and questions.
      So far I've gathered:
      1.) Relax
      2.) ??????
      3.) Profit!

EDIT: For some reason I didn't think to google it. Anyone familiar with this site http://www.theartofastralprojection.com/? Seems fine but I don't like these sites that place enormous emphasis on things like "BUT WAIT! WHY IS STEVE GIVING THIS AWAY FOR FREEEEE?!?!?!" If you know of a site that is reliable, I'm open to recommendations.

      First of all, it's "piqued".

And secondly, there are many people here who practice astral projection more than lucid dreaming, even if both are very much related. Both have similar definitions, but can be described differently by the same person. Just post a topic in the correct thread about it, maybe this time call it "How do you Astral Project"?

That's what all the cool kids do, yo.

      Shenanigans! Good to know though.

I thought Beyond Dreaming was the correct thread for Astral Projection related topics?

I know they're different, I'm just looking for clarification as to what makes it different and how it is done in a way that makes it different from lucid dreaming.

"I thought Beyond Dreaming was the correct thread for Astral Projection related topics?"

I just said correct topic as in the right topic. I could have said post it in another topic or a different topic, but it was just a generalization. I didn't mean you had it wrong.

Well if this topic stays up and open, no doubt someone with AP experience will show up and help you.

Great talk, get some more info on what exactly AP is. I'm sure his book is amazing because not only that it must be full with personal experiences with astral projection, i learned from this talk that he got in-depth into how to induce sleep paralysis and how to use that to have out of body experiences.

i'm not experienced at all tho, but i think Sleep Paralysis is key in astral projection. Or vibrations atleast.

This is really interesting considering I'm also a science oriented person who would be skeptical until I experience. I'm only on Part 3 so far but his experiences are very cool. Does he actually go into how he learned to replicate the experiences?

EDIT: Don't care if he teaches his method or not anymore. This is amazingly awesome. Want do. I recommend you all listen to it.

      Hello tehmuffinman.

This is the second time I've posted this link in this forum today, so it's a bit strange for me, but should definitely be welcome advice.

Robert Bruce is an advanced astral projector, and has written a lot of his work and experiences.

A Treatise on Astral Projection is a long segment he wrote and uploaded online to help explain the bigger picture and details of astral projection. This is a great learning tool. I highly suggest reading the whole thing. Best of luck! After that, consider your own questions for a while, and come back here with the ones you can't solve yourself.
