Then why can't we see examples of people controlling the wind? Why doesn't electrical engineering jobs ask for "electrokinesis" in their job description? Believe me, the world would LOVE to see this happening, people have put out $1 million dollar awards for people to show them that it works. Personally i would LOVE to see that humans are capable so all of these things, it would reaffirm my faith in humanity and it would in so many other people as well. It's not the lack of a desire, you see, it's a lack of proof. Think about it this way, if you could actually, with no doubts in yourself, and with no doubts whatsoever, do aerokinesis you wouldn't care if the randi study was "rigged" you would do it anyway, hell, even someone who can control the wind could use the extra cash, right, or at least make a crack at it. However, your name is not even on the list of people who has tried. I'm not flaming you at all, i'm just stating the facts.

Oh, and i don't need to prove it to you, i don't waste my time with non-believers mostly, unless they ask poliley and avoid flaming
So dispute me if you will, sign up for the challenge, prove me wrong, you'll make a million dollars and prove me wrong in the same breath. Even if the study is "rigged", make a video of yourself doing the study and show us, so we can judge for ourselves whether the study was "rigged". I'm not disputing that you can do aerokinesis in the least bit, but if you can, why would you choose to be poor? Is it philosophical, or to keep your true abilities secret like superman or something? Please, enlighten me. I'm trying to ask as politely as i possibly can.

One more thing, this has nothing to do with anything, but what do you believe the mechanism behind aerokinesis is? I'm being completely serious, what do you think in your mind controls the wind, or is it something completely outside the realm of modern science and physical principles? I really would like to know your opinion, because frankly i'm stupid, clearly i'm stupid compared to you (if your mind is large enough to control the air), i have not the least idea about how this could work, so how do you think it works?

Thank you for reading my post. Hope i was polite enough =)

Goldney, I do psionics because I think it's cool and that psi is related to paranormal stuff that science aren't very interested in, but I am.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

In order to take that stupid challenge, one would have to fly out to where this Randy guy is, and also take time off work. It's a serious financial commitment for a bullshit scam. The guy doesn't even have a million dollars.

Several organized groups have attempted to undertake this million dollar challenge, and most weren't even allowed the opportunity to try. Just for fun, pretend that you have Psi abilities, and attempt to set up a test for yourself. You'll quickly see why nobody bothers with this jackass.

Golden eye, you ask for proof, such as a video or something, but I suspect no proof would ever be good enough for you. A film only shows one angle, and you could argue that there was some sort of trickery happening off camera. If they were to provide multiple camera angles, one could argue there were hidden magnets or some other hidden force at work. You could see it happen before your very eyes, and still concoct an endless variety of ways to rationally explain it.

Also, you claim that these people experiencing these things just want to be special is just way off. The people that can do these things are not special in any way. These things are possible by everyone and anyone.

You assume these people are practiced masters, but most people experience these things quite randomly. I have no reliable methods to reproduce anything on command, yet I once used a premonition to win money on a sports bet.

The problem is, there is very little reliable training available to develop these skills. It's the difference between your average guy who thinks he's tough and a black belt. There's just nowhere to learn this stuff. People stumble about on their own, and the progress they make is slow because they are forced to keep to themselves, or suffer the ridicule of ignorant jackasses.

I'll give a million dollars to whoever can prove that psi abilities aren't real.

I had to rewrite this post 10 times before it sounded civil.

Yes, i told you it is a sham. He wouldn't let me nor my friends even TRY. Why? Because he knew he would look bad if we succeded. (P.S. Psionics is MOSTLY random, which is why i train. To make it work when i wnat it to)

      Completely wrong.

Preliminary tests are usually conducted by associates of the JREF at the site where the applicant lives.
the man has a million dollars, and even if he doesn't, if he found conclusive proof of psi activity he wouldn't need it, DoD would happily fork over a million dollars in exchange for a day of your time in research.

All right, I'll concede I wasn't aware of the full rules and regulations of this so called challenge. Is there a site detailing the specifics somewhere? I'm finding a lot of sites talking about it, but can't find an official page anywhere.

THe best information I could find about it was here
      http://michaelprescott.typepad.com/m...challenge.html (Part 1)
      http://michaelprescott.typepad.com/m...allenge_p.html (part 2)

And that quote you used from Seismosaur makes perfect sense

Yes... Well... I said MOSTLY. That is the catch isn't it? TO make it happen non-random. And ONLY when you want it to. Some succed once in there life, obsess about it, and that is why Randi set up the challenge, and that is why no one has succeded so far. Apart from not being accepted.

      Well OK then.

In my teens I was making pro-line bets with a friend. We made our bets and were walking out the door of the store, when I was hit with a premonition that Ottawa and Edmonton were going to tie in hockey. It was completely overwhelming and stopped me dead in my tracks.

I went back inside to make another bet, and my friend asked me what was up with that. I was acting strange. So the 2 dollar ticket I got won me 300 that night. People always ask me why I didn't bet more. It's because I didn't really believe it at the time, and that would have cut into my drinking money.

Another interesting incident, at work when I get a song stuck in my head, my partner would start whistling or singing the same song. I thought maybe I was whistling without noticing, so I made sure not to do that during the following weeks, and it still happened. He'd always whistle the song I had in my head.

I was going to start writing songs down in a sealed envelope and bring one into work each day, but he quit before I did.

I've had other incidents, probably about a dozen good ones in total, but they're surprisingly difficult to remember. When I do manage to recall them, it's like How the hell did I forget about that? Someone had once suggested to me to write incidents like that down in a notebook. You make more entries than you'd think, but forget about most of them if you don't, much like dreams. It's like your mind tries to cloud it over with a SEP field. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sep_field

So, I've established what you can do with your powers, Seis. You can make winds etc. but what do you do with these winds.

Also, 'nother question: you said in a previous post how you can't control these powers. Am I correct? So you can't make a wind whenever you want? One final question, it's an important one:

Can you summon a wind, indoors?

      3. Yes, but not as powerful as outdoors (and those aren't very powerful either)

So, can you say move stuff with the wind? I'd like some more information from other psychics as well if there's any out there other than just Seismosaur. It'd be interesting what others can do.

What's the best thing you've ever done? Can you convert a sceptic such as myself? Can you make proof of yourself doing it? Eg. a video or something. Why are some people better at different types of psionics?

So far all I'm thinking about the different types of psionics is that it's all a kind of videogame, where someone is the electric wizard, another the healer etc. It seems an extension of that kind of thinking where everyone wants to be unique and different. In fact, that's what all psionics seems to be about, a normal person wanting to have special powers and convincing themselves that they have them through auto-suggestion and vague physical prompts. So far you aren't persuading me that psionics exist.
Psionics, first of all, do not have different "forms". Every different type of manipulation is caused by the same thing. Psionics are just a phenomena that proves consciounce is somehow connected with the physical dimention, and in that case, it proves life is connected.

The event that really rocked my world was when a friend (whom was locked up in a RTC with me, supervised) of mine demonstrated psionics by killing a ant without touching it, bringing it back to life, and making it fallow his finger around on the table. When he wished for it to die he snapped his fingers and it was dead. Just like that.

I know what its like to be a skeptic, and although most psions think it is stupid and pointless to try to prove psionics to other skeptics, I think its a good idea and by proving it to someone I think I would be helping them. Soon I'm going to start practicing psionics again (sometime near the end of august), and I'm going to post some videos up... I suppose that is the best I can do.

And on another note, serious seekers don't try to advance with the more petty aspect of psionics, like all the different "kinesis abilitys". Those abilitys come easy once you've reached advanced chakra stimulation and astral projection. You can't learn much from psychokinesis. PK only takes a few weeks of daily practice to get reletivily good at it... I'm going to learn it just to show people up who take me as a fool... and possibly change the way they look at life.

Well, there ARE different forms. That's like saying there are no different forms of martial arts because you do them all with your body. LOL. Besides, PSI = fun, and mentally building.

Michael Faraday (1791-1867) - Sandemanian (presbyterian origin)

Gregor Mendel (1822-1884) - Abbot of his Monastery

      Max Planck (1858-1947) - was a churchwarden

I invite all of you who claim to have these abilities to win yourself ONE MILLION DOLLARS. This is no joke. If you can scientifically prove that you possess Paranormal abilities, The James Randi Educational Foundation is prepared to give you, I repeat, ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Just visit the website here:
      Million Dollar Challenge
According to the website, " To date, no one has ever passed the preliminary tests." If you can do these things you claim, step up and get a million dollars. Until then, I refuse to believe any of these ridiculous and childish claims.

Most of the above were completely not religious, and only held the beliefs so that church wouldn't go against them.

Albert Einstein always criticised religions. he believed that the harmony of things was the god they looked for.

Galileo Galilei criticised the church and made the pope look silly in all of his scientifical books.

Gregor Mendel did only go to a monastery because he had no other place to go. Actually, he stayed there because he could do scientifical experiments without people bothering him (people didn't accept his theories, as they were against religion). Never was religious.

And others for sure did pretty much the same.
Religion tries to state that science doesn't deny religion, but that's all brainwashing. For sure, it does.

Man, for some reason you soudn more convincing than others.

But you must admit it: at leats at first, it is really silly.

All I need is a proof for me to try it. It could be a video, IDC, as logn as it's made by you.

But you must admit it: at leats at first, it is really silly.

All I need is a proof for me to try it. It could be a video, IDC, as logn as it's made by you.
      First: How's it silly?

      Second: I can do it.

Thirdly: My sucess rate isn't high enough to take on a one-time experiment, it would probably go awry, and thus strike a blow against it's existence. Why? Because i'm only one person who's trained for a year or two. Are you going to say this is a strawman? Absolutley . Is it? No. It's the truth.

Fourthly: If you want to try it yourself go HERE, and look at the guide.

Edit: At first i thought TK was total BS, some dumb shit my friend had gotten over-hyped about when he told me... Until i actually experienced it. It was an awesome feeling, and i haven't stopped practicing since.

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Last night after work, I was thinking about a friend I hadn't heard from in awhile. I decided I was going to give him a call on the weekend. No sooner had I finished thinking that, than the phone rang and it was him. He was in town and on his way to my place.

Carl Jung had a method where he would write a letter to someone, and not send it. This would result him getting a letter from the person he had written within a few weeks.
