      LD's and OBE's

Is the out of body experience basically a LD? Is it worth it to practice both LD and Astral Projection?

Some believe it's the same thing, some that it's something else. I personally had both, LD and OBE and they were different. I think (and this is just my opinion), that during LD you visit dream planes (either your private or public) and in AP/OBE, you visit the astral planes, inhabited by other OBErs, astral beings, souls of people that have crossed over, angels...
I see LDing as more of a fun stuff to do and OBEing as more of a spiritual, learn about myself thing.

I think that the difference is also in a way of exit. When you WILD, you can either exit into LD, or into astral plane.

If you really interested, you could read a lot about both topics and decide for yourself. Feel free to PM me. Happy dreams

I think they're the same, and if they're not, exercising control over them is still the same in either case. Personally I think how you conceptualize them plays an important role in how they play out and accounts for any perceived differences between the two.
