getting lost in astral worlds and posessions like in "insidious"

Anybody watched the movie insidious? For those who did't watched it it's about ghost and astral projection. really creepy but very good stuff.
Go watch the movie before you read this.

So what's your opinion on this movie? I know it's a bit dramatic and puts a scary look on astral projection but how much of it is real??
Can you get lost in a place like that?
Can other demons and/or spirits posses your body?

Overall I liked the movie but I did't liked that the hero couldn't do anything he imagined like we do in lucid dreams/obes.

No you can't get lost or possesed. Your astral body is conected to your physical body, via a silvercord. The silver cord can never be broken, unless you die! As long you have the silver cord, the body is yours.

Think of it in this way. The cord is like a car key. Only that key can start the your car. When the car is broken. Your key wont work anymore.

To get back to your body, you just have to think about your body, and you will be back in your bed. The hard part is actually stayin out of body

But while dreaming you can go in different worlds, and see odd creatures etc, also spirits. Happened to me. Sometimes they hide in our dreamworld.

      In reguards to your Film:

I've never watched it, and I don't think I will. The film Jaws made a lot of people afraid of the water. I like some horror flicks, but some are just freaky, and can creep you out. I guess that's one of the goals of scary movies. I prefer campy cheesy horror, that makes you laugh as well as squirm. Example: You can watch Spookies or Street Trash on you tube, and have a laugh. I'm allready wary as it is with the whole hypnagogic super freaky experience, and I don't need to be scared out of my wits. LOL! I'll end up like one of those freaked out people in a rubber room at the end of some crusty horror film.
