Thread: Applied Telepathy

Telepathy. Whether it happens or not is of no concern to me at this point in life.
However, I wonder how it could be applied. As in, real-life application.

So I have this telepathic friend, right? You might have heard me mention her. She has quite an interesting dream-life including high lucidity, nightmares, and shared dreaming.
And she's telepathic. With me.

What am I supposed to do with that? I mean, it's not like there's any great clarity in our communication. The most clarity I get is when she's describing something and I see it before she's explained most of the details. I've been able to hear her (And vice-versa) from five hundred miles away, so distance doesn't make a difference. However, the transference of any useful amount of information (words, pictures, sounds, concepts) is a feat that still eludes common occurrence.

Also, there is a big difference between me and her. While I can communicate with her, at times she has been able to hear the thoughts of various people.
Have you ever read a story where a telepath uses their mind-reading ability to cheat on a test? Yeah, don't joke about that around her. She's had a fun keeping herself from cheating. >_>

Anyway, what do you think? How could low-level telepathy be applied?
