      Have an OBE/AP in a Lucid Dream?

      They said that in order to practice OBE / OOBE / AP you can practice in a LD for better results, so that you could get used to OOBE in real life, is it true? Is OOBE really hard to achieve? Is OBE a LUCID DREAM?

      OBE/OOBE= Out-of-body experience
      AP= Astral Projection

      I've dreamed that I astral projected, even though I wasn't lucid.. that I was WILDing which led to me going into sleep paralysis and even heard weird chanting type stuff you would hear in SP. I then floated above my body and tried to fly through the wall but was unable to.

      I've never had an OOBE, so who knows if this will help. It was pretty odd nonetheless.

      I personally believe that OBE/AP are types of dreams that the people who read about that/believe into that, can experience. Some people though believe that they are happening in some other planes and stuff. It's your choice what you should believe in, really, so take your pick.

      You may be referring 2 converting an LD to an Obe. There is sparse information on this topic but its out there. A technique that I have used to success is to simply have the intention to seperate from my body with in the dream. I imagine seperating or lie down on the dream scape floor in the way I think my body is position in physical bed. I then roll my dream body as I would if I were awake. What ends up happening is I wake up to vibrations and at that point I can get up and explore the dreamscape that is a exact copy of my physical room. Namaste.
