      Astral Projection Or Not?

To start off: I don't believe in astral projection.

But I like to keep an open mind.

I've had several dreams that start and end exactly where I fell asleep. It's a bit creepy. The environment is exactly the same, and when I wake up, it just feels really weird, as if I haven't even woken up yet - because it feels like the exact same place that I had just experienced the dream.

In one of these, an explosion went off in my house, and a pretty gory scene ensued. When I woke up, in the same area, I just felt really odd, walking around the area that I just had been, seeing the carnage and death around me, in my home. Oh God, I'm getting shivers typing about this - it's 3 am at night and I'm starting to freak myself out.

If anyone is actually interested, I can reply when it's daytime. Lol

(Also, not all of these have had something like an explosion go off. Sometimes, I just wake up in the same area, after walking around in the dream area, and there's almost 0 evidence of any difference between the two.)

For me astral projection is very different to dreams. There is big difference between "the walk"(As I named astral traveling or OBE) and regular dreaming. Difference between regular dreaming and lucid one is not very big one. But OBE is on entirely other level. State of consciousness makes my walks to higher dimension regularly peaceful. When there is some conflict it is not problematic for me nor making me feel dread. In fact, I found that strong "regular" feelings are disturbing my consciousness out of astral and back to physical body.

I do know this. I used to have lucid dreams nearly night. I have less now, but I wonder if I've been inadvertently astral projecting. Things that happen in these "dreams" never occur in my normal lucids.

This also seems true. If I ever become "aware" in these dreams, I have to keep my emotions in check, or they will bring me back to reality quickly, waking me up. One of these happened the first time I ever had a WILD. From lying in bed, I emerged out of bed, and had to do a couple reality checks to convince myself I didn't just wake up again. In the one described above, I also got out of bed, into my own house, and seeing the explosion, I had the knowledge during the "dream" that a nuclear explosion had gone off. I wonder if these are visions from the future. In my view, reality is a 4-dimensional (or higher) object, and visions of the future are equivalent to a view of a higher dimension.

But, you know, I don't know.

Well according to some explanations, everytime you sleep you project. In dream you obtain some consciousness, in LD you obtain full or near full consciousness. But in dreams you are surrounded by hallucinations- fantasy or imagination coming out of your subconsciousness or consciousness if you are directly using your mind to affect surrounding.

Now imagine what I feel when I project: I start laying on bed. I relax my body. I close out near all of body feelings. I relax and concentrate my mind. I make my consciousness still... I make it concentrated on here and now. There is no place for imagination. I remain in this state as long as I need to start to feel secondary body... it feels like some kind of glove... At that time I start to shed myself off of "dead" weight of physical body. Again- no imagination used. It is as if you get your clothes off, only that clothes are inside of you, secondary body feels larger than body. At least a few cm larger. When I'm out I'm usually in blackness. I keep to move. The light will come out, and I'm usually in my bedroom for start, but sometimes on other locations. I do not imagine. I'm concentrated on ere and now.

WILD- I start with relaxation and concentration, but I concentrate on imagination. I imagine a tunnel... made from circles. It is simplest imagination. After some time of flight I come out it into some surrounding. Then I start live there, to explore. I try to apply minimal amount of imagination while I'm there...too much imagination makes dream too chaotic for me.

Reality check doesn't function by me. I can't judge the reality. Changes of consciousness leads to changes in perception... possibilities blurs... Reality check will tell me that dream is reality.

Prediction of future either are real or aren't. The time will tell. Timeframe is uncertain for me. Some thing happen after a few moments, some after days, some after years or decades. I know it when they are happening.
