It isn't crazy, I'm nearly assured from many such accounts I've read along with my own experiences that Deja Vu indeed emerges from dreams. |

I am a college student. I have no strong belief in anything paranormal but I an open mind. I have been troubled for some time now by my dreams. The dreams I have are of mundane everyday kind of occurrences. But after I wake up and wonder why I dream these things I later find them to happen. I have experienced things I have dreamed now more than 5 occasions in which I could literally know the outcome of whatever the event was that was occurring for several seconds. At first I just shrugged these off as deja vu ,but they are becoming more prevalent and they are starting to frighten me. The worst part of this is I have knowledge of what is happening and going to happen for a very short period of time and am helpless to change it. It plays out like watching a movie. |

Thank you for your faith in my story and for the vote of confidence in that I should not be afraid, But you misunderstand what I fear. |

Honestly I do not think that it is necessarily a "precognitive dream" if it happens within the next 23 months. That is a lot of time... A lot can happen in that time. It is not unlikely that something you dream will come true in 2 years |
|
Maybe you are having this dream and given so much warning because you can make a change? It's hard to say how though, or if you even can. I believe that everyday our "futures" change because of decisions we make, so any little decision now could change the outcome of the dream. If the dream is about something changing in your life that you don't want to change, perhaps look at your behavior now and see what you can change in the present that might make the event turn out more positive. However, I wouldn't get so obsessed that you lose sight of the present. |

Many people including famous book writers such as Robert Monroe who practice their either astral traveling or out of body experience exploration, begin to develop more psychic power/control and claim that they've started to have precognitive dreams.. |
|
Believing this for me is easy because it happens to me all the time too. For me it has been happening for, well, as long as I can remember. The one difference though is that with me, I usually don't remember dreaming it (but I'm going on the assumption that I am) and when the event starts happening I see it playing in my mind, slightly before it happens. |

<div align="center">I know what you're talking about, I also experience it. As with your case, my dreams are only small clips of everyday occurances, so I've learned to ignore them. I have yet to try to change the outcome so I don't even know if I would be able to. The thought that I wouldn't be is a little unnerving. I guess I'm lucky that I haven't foreseen anything major.</div> |

About your being unable to change the events you dream about. I once read a post somewhere that was similar to yours. In it the guy was dreaming of future events that would happen. But eventually he was able to direct the action in his dreams, incuce conversations in the people involved. He claimed it would unfold like his dreams in RL. |

Try to be practical about it. This ability can be useful because in the future there may be cases where you will be able to change things. The fact that in past you didn't have time to change things does not mean this will always be the case. This could end up being a great gift. |

Firstly, I believe that when it's your time, it's your time and thats it. If you were meant to die, you will die. Have you seem final destination? Similar concept, although that's been embellished for theatrical reasons. |

When once you have tasted flight,
You will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward,
For there you have been,
And there you will always long to return
Hmmm I'm curious |

I don't frequently dream of the future, I think. However, I would like to tell you to relax! In my opinion, you can consider what you have to be a gift. Many would love to have your gift! |

If you're worried about the 23 months i can only give my 2 cents... |

For like 2 weeks straight, everyday something from my dreams would happen. It really started to piss me off how I had seen all the stuff before, so I decided to try and figure out what in my dreams would happen when I woke up every morning... It didn't work. The things that happened would always just be small parts of the dreams, so it wouldn't be things that I would think to remember. Then I just gave up on it all together and it hasn't happened since. |

I've had this happen as well, like I had a dream about the World Trade Centers being destroyed by Airplanes 2 months before it happened. At the time I thought that it was just a silly dream, 2 planes running into the massive buildings. |

It's amazing how many people have precognitive dreams, and still the view of mainstream science is that paranormal phenomena does not exist. There are only a few parapsychologists out there, and they hardly get funding for their research. |

Odd stuff, I have that on occasion, but never in the form of a Precognitive Dream. |
