Magic's return

First a quick definition of "magic". Magic is the conversion of "spiritual energy" to other energies that are better known by physics. IE Kinetic (telekinesis) thermal and so on.

Currently magic is very weak, this is actually very unnatural and abnormal in regards to most other places other than earth. In fact magic as been dampened for only a couple dozen millennium. No more than 50k years. Soon the field that has been dampening magic will be coming down. Just a little more than 4 years to be precise.

In the mean time this hallows eve magic will be the strongest its been for thousands of years because of some weird weakening of this dampening field. In fact it will be about 40% of its normal strength. Meaning that any one with magical aptitude should be able to feel the difference. The field has weakened every year but this year it has weakened much more than usual.

I'll be experimenting with magic, chi, psi, or what ever else that you want to call it. I probably could record it. Hum, scratches chin.

Ah... don't everyone who respects that rule use "magick" instead of magic? Which is the term to refer to the illusions hollywood uses?

and how do you know this power will be returning? what is going to happen exactly? and why did it disappear in the first place?

Unno, what are you questioning again? I will admit that just throwing out the word magic is a difficult thing because the normal human has no clue what magic is as is defined/accepted as by many other magic wielding cultures.

I have very good connections but you don't have to take my word for it. just wait and when it comes back, every one will know like if it was the rapture. Except most wont know exactly what happened, only that something loud happened.

The reason its gone, you ask? its a fairly simple story but quite interesting indeed. Quite simply Earth is valuable land, and what else happens to valuable land than for groups to war over it? so to get the war to stop for a wile some decided to dampen magic so that the factions can't war as they did.
