Just Woke Up From SCARY EXPERIENCE!!!!!! (please be open minded)

      Hey All

Alot of you may know me from around here, and my dream experience/ lucid experience. So all in all, things related to dreams dont scare me that much, but just a few moments ago, I will have to tell you that something, SCARED me....

Please bare with me as I am still trying to shake it off. It is about 5:45am right now.. I went to bed about 3:30am.. I was dreaming, and I will tell you what I recall....

All That happened in the dream, I was laying there and for whatever reason my brother wanted to show me an EVP (google EVP if you dont know what it is). I have been in a ghost hunter for a while now and actually am on a team in North Carolina, So I have seen some/ have had some crazy experience...

Inside the dream i listened to the recording all i heard was the words "Help me".. Instantly after those words were spoken, I felt both in the dream, and out of the dream, my hair on my arms rise up and begin to tingle, and then as if someone were holding me down ( I figured this might be SP, but here is the weird thing).. As I was laying there and couldn't move, I also couldn't speak! no matter how hard i tried (both inside and outside the dream)

What I mean by that is, I kept briefly for moments at a time, go into the dream, come to reality (imagine being underwater and slowly popping your head up out of the water, then slowly bringing it back down like 2 seconds later) Thats what it was like....

Now I am a religious person ( I believe in God and Jesus) And in this dream, I will tell you, I felt a very very very evil presence... So I tried to pray and call out for Jesus... But I could not speak, no matter how hard i tried to push out His name, or even a word... Just imagine someone trying to yell but all that comes out is a loud gasp/whispering noise but no words... It was exactly that...

It was both happening inside and outside dream.. I remember inside the dream, after trying to pray to Jesus (the feeling of being held down--which with my experience, i thought it was SP) got more intense... After a while, I dont know how i was able to figure this out in the mindstate i was in..

I knew I couldn't speak, I knew I couldn't move... But I gave it all my effort in my dream to slide to the right (i was laying on my back) to try to get to the wall to start banging on it to try to wake myself up.. As I got there and started banging on the wall to wake myself up.. Something inside the dream was grabbing a hold of me to keep me from waking up....

I honestly, do not even remember waking up.. I slipped out of the dream, still unable to speak and move.. and I still felt the evil presence in my dream, as i layed there trying to come to.. It honestly took a good minute for me to get my voice back, and for me to begin moving around.. as soon as i was able to speak, i just started praying.. that is the only thing i could think of.. As i layed there in bed, i rolled over on my side just praying..

I will be 24 in may, in my life i have experienced a lot of things, as far as "Paranormal" goes.. So when it comes to that type of stuff, I don't get scared.. but I am telling you folks.. whatever this was.. SP, Spiritual Attack, whatever...... IT SCARED ME SOOOOOO BAD I had to call a friend before finishing this and explain to him what happened, just to calm me down......

All I am asking, is what could have this been.. I have had SP before, but nothing like this.. and I haven't read anywhere that SP gets so intense that you lose the ability to speak....

Anybody with an idea, answer, or opinion, please write back.. all feed back is welcome..

Because I will tell you, after Chasing ghosts and having hatch doors slammed shut in your face with no explanation how... this experience right here, tops everything i've been through in my life....just straight up... scary...

Thats pretty intense man. It was a nice read. I dont really have anything to say about it, I usually do. All I can pretty much say is "neato".

This sounds as an intense SP, as far as I know, lose of speech is normal when in SP.

Sounds like really intense SP to me as well. It's definately normal to lose control of your voice in SP, and it is commonly associated with an inexplicable terror and the feeling that something evil is in your presence.

I'm not saying that it wasn't a spiritual attack, because I believe that could be a possibility as well. Though from what I read it really did just sound like SP.

I've had this happen several times. Usually I start vibrating as if I'm having a minor seizure. My guess is that it's probably SP related, but I've had some friends that believe otherwise.

One time it happened, and I felt the presence of an evil entity so close to the back of my neck that I could feel it breathe. For some reason I picture it as something close to The Joker from "The Dark Night".

Another time I saw a little bald shadow man standing in the corner of my room.

Yet another time I was so freaked out and disoriented that I randomly started screaming "I love you Dad!!!!!" in my wheezy semi-audible SP voice. (Lol)

Just keep in mind that SP can produce intense, realistic hallucinations, both auditory and visual.

Hmm, I don't know if I fully believe in "nightstalkers" but have kept an opened mind. They can stabilize your dream for you which sounds like what happened. Nightstalkers could be anything, people or entities. Beyond dreaming answer.
      ---
It could of been a very very intense SP episode, nothing you have ever experienced before. I would of been very scared. Did you say it left after you fully awoke?

I'm putting my backing behind this.

And calling for Jesus, why do Christians always do that? Instead pull courage from inside you, lot quicker..
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

A sense of comfort is nice. There was a thread about praying to break sleep paralysis too. It seems it really works. (can't find the thread though).

I to, back up Hazel's statement as you probably were caught off guard in a intense episode.

      Scary
I have always had frequent sleep paralysis, and I can tell you, it is that intense, and more. If you have never experienced anything like that, you have never truly experienced sleep paralysis. It can be the most frightening thing ever. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

Yeah, that's my worst fear. Waking up in an unexpected SP. Luckily for me, I keep my eyes shut and lucid dream. I wouldn't know what to do if I was in the OP's situation but pray.

My guess is a bad Inorganic Being that was feeding on your fear (aka Nightstalker) or a ghost/demon. It happened to me once when I was 7 years old and in China. I was sleeping in a hotel room that was supposedly "haunted" In the middle of my pleasant dream the whole dream switched around and there was a dark hooded human/beast at the door (first time I lucid dreamed). I felt that same evilness roaming around, more like a hunger, all in a flash i saw him slaughter my whole family but my sister my grandma and me. We ran around and my sister was killed next, I started crying and my grandma went out to stand up to fight the thing. I then wished that my grandpa was alive and in a second he was alive and comforting me as well. Not knowing what I was doing I wished my whole family alive and they all came alive (slaughtered again though). Then some good spirit of some sort came to me and told me I must defeat this demon and asked me to wish for powers or some sort, I wished that I was a power ranger and I did become one but I couldn't morph then I wished that the real power rangers came to teach me how to use it and they came and we killed the thing. Sadly the whole dream started up again but I ended up waking up on the third time. So thats just one of my experiences and it was really scary to me and I had the same symptoms as you.

Another experience while I was older was about a bear coming to my neighborhood and killing everyone there then when I was in utter fear it would go to my hiding space and the whole dream would restart, if I did somehow get away I would be teleported or respawned back to the beggining of the dream. Sometimes I would gain control and would have a full barricade with rocketlaunchers and everything but the beast was still coming at me (note: I never see the thing only its shadow). I had this dream much more often about once every 6 months and I finally no longer have this dream because I told myself everytime this happens that the next time it happens i'll kill this thing and I got over this fear. So yea, most likely an Inorganic Being feeding off your fear. Sometimes there good and if you happen to get a good one its more like a friend and it feeds off of your happiness. Sometimes it might be a bad Inorganic Being and might try to feed off of your fear, hatred, other emotions. If you do happen to see an inorganic being in your dream try to capture it by wrestling it and if you do PM me and i'll

I know that this is the BD section, but, have you any proof of these inorganic beings? All we have are people's accounts and while I'll loved to believe that there are night stalkers, dreamwalkers and inorganic beings, I've never encountered any. My guess is that you just had a nightmare as a little kid like everyone did when they were still kids. To mention something, your dream plays on your expectations, so, you expecting that you will lose to that monster or win is what helped you win in the first one. If it was a night stalker, then you would be less capable of hurting it and the only way to win according to Cusp is to distract it which would cause the night stalker to lose lucidity. Take a look around the night stalker thread to see what I mean, it was eventually closed because there is no proof they exist For your second dream, it was fear that was the main thing involved. It manifested in the shape of a bear, but, there's nothing more to it. Don't believe me? Try posting those two dreams without anything about these stalkers, walkers and inorganic beings and you'll see that people will say what I wrote here The OP's case is most likely SP seeing how intense the experience is and how much worse it can get based on your expectations

Thanks GuitarBoy, but still he has a point and I am open to observations :] He actually convinced me enough through logic that it might have just been me the whole time. But, this bear would visit every month when it first started happening like it was going with a feeding pattern. I tried wishing the thing away and it would just stay there. And its pretty odd that it would come near similar times but then I would be totally thinking of something else when I went to sleep.

Its just the belief that you can get out that helps.. Wherever it comes from!

yes, I know that, I did read the rules and have pointed out the exact same thing to someone else before in another thread here All I was trying to point out to him was that it's possible that it was something else which is the reason I tried to explain what I think each one was

The bear one is the more interesting one, you say everytime, maybe after the first encounter, you were still a bit terrified and it was hidden in your subconscious which is why when you finally faced it, it disappeared. In non-lucid dreams, most of the time(not all), you have no control, so, wishing it away doesn't work. You said similar times, any more details possible? Sorry for going offtopic, this bear dream sounded interesting

In these situations, the more I resist or fight, the worse things get. The more I struggle, the more I convince myself there is something to struggle against. That combative state of mind seems to make the vision continue, stronger and scarier.

I can now stop them immediately by thinking positive thoughts and embracing the frightening element with love. It sounds cheesy, but it works every time for me. Maybe I am just changing my thought patterns and therefore, my expectations. Maybe I am conquering the evil energy with my own positive energy. Either way, I know there is nothing to be really be scared of. You are way stronger than these visions, and you can change them by mastering your emotions and expectations.
