Ahhhh!
So I had my first AP experience, lasted 3 seconds. I'm going to try and blow that 3 seconds up as much as possible with exhaustive detail (I appreciate this so much when reading others' experiences).

So yesterday evening I felt interested in AP again after about a year and a half of letting it go. I watched a few new videos of techniques and first timers experiences just to get me up to speed. Of course it landed on the rope technique.
SO I lay in bed at about 1:30 am on my back (cannot fall asleep on my back) and spent a few minutes relaxing my body/mind, then started climbing the rope. All that kept happening was a dream would start for a moment then I would snap back to consciousness. This happened like 6 times so I changed positions and got the same results. Just decided to try and fall asleep.
Woke up at like 5:30 am for no reason (this never happens) and oddly felt well rested. Got some water and stuff then back in bed. Tried same technique and got same "snap" results. Decided to read more about first time experiences so I did that and the one I read, the guy just did WBTB MILD type technique. I'm usually skeptical about MILD as I prefer more mechanical techniques that I can control (bad mindset I know). But since the rope wasn't working I decided to try it. I let myself drift off and just thought "I am aware" with each inhale/exhale. After quite a while I was in a non-lucid dream.
The dream ended and all of a sudden I felt like my eyes were wide open (like, scarily, massively wide open). It was odd to me because I could feel my sleep mask and knew my eyes shouldn't be open while wearing it lol. I started to feel embarrassed "why are my eyes so widely opened... if someone saw me they'd think I was possessed or something."
HERE IT IS:
Then it happened... My eyes were still open but I realized that I was looking into the sky. I saw the billions of stars and thought "Oh my God it's true.... money and ego really are pointless (sort of something I'm battling with atm)" again this lasts about 3 seconds so that wasn't a thought sentence, it was a feeling. Also note I was outside right next to a garage door (we have a garage but not sure if it was ours or not). So after having this feeling and looking at the stars, i was hit with a deafening sound that was almost identical to metal being grinded. A very high pitched metallic screech. I started to feel pins and needles but was terrified so I woke up.
