Thread: Ghosts and Dreams?

Like...Nightmare on Elm Street?

What "stories" are you talking about? Not including fictional characters from television and movies.

When I lived in an apartment that my family and my neighbors considered haunted, I kept having nightmares. The nightmares started before we collectively felt the place was haunted. In the nightmare a demon in my bedroom would attack me, the only way to escape was the to run down the staircase. The staircase was like a boundary. Once you reached the bottom of the staircase you were safe and the demon couldn't harm you. I had so many nightmares like this I was using them a lucid dream sign!! I had a lot of lucids because of them.

Long story short, my nightmares were paralleling real emotions, "ghost" experiences and fears everyone in the household was feeling. Even my cat, she was terrified to go up the staircase!

I didn't think too much of my nightmares, I just sorta expected and accepted them. But when we moved out, the nightmares stopped immediately. It was because my nightmares just stopped that I realized just how weird they were. I've never had so many nightmares in such a short period of time with the same theme, over and over again!

I think definitely ghosts can enter your dreams. But in the long run, no real harm is done. It's still your dream, you're still the one in charge, the invading spirit has no real power over you. Even though these nightmares were creepy, I still managed to transform most of them into exciting lucid adventures - granted I just avoided my own home in the dream.

A couple of times i have had dreams of deceased relatives. It was wonderful to see them again. They appeared a week or so before something of significance happened to my family.
It was not something i felt i could share with other family members unfortunately. People take these things differently.

I have been visited by ghost, vampires & aliens in dreams. They are only as powerful as I allow them to be.

In one dream my grandmother came to visit me. No worries here it was a healing dream.

In the dreams where I encountered vampires I soon recognized the energetic presences in waking life with the help of a friend. Once I recognized their energy signature liberation or freedom from them was simultaneous. It was wierd b/c I coughed and immediately felt more energy return.

This caused me to solidify my belief that vampires are real especially in a energetic sense. I do not deny there are physical beings who consciously & unconsciously operate as vampires energetically or otherwise but I make a distinction between the two.


So yes I think it is possible if as long as we live in ignorance or denial

Wanted to add this. Had the most amazing dream last night about the previous owner of the castle i live in. He died before i moved here so i never had the chance to meet him. I have seen photos of him and even felt him on one occaision when awake but last night i met him in a dream and wow wow wow was it real!
I was aware that i was dreaming which is very rare for me. Even more thrilling was that i immediately recognised the man as being the former deceased owner. He was a French ex Army Captain and i was amazed at the sense of strength emmenating from him, he was a strong healthy man. I was jubillant to meet him especially since i realised he had 'passed over'. The other thing that struck me was the fact that his appearance was static. Ie it did not shift within the dream as most dream appearances do. Even his black thick rimmed glasses were solid. It was as real as any daily encounter in waking state.
I wonder if the reason for his appearance was linked to my new girlfriend arriving in the house. Kitchen filled with cooking smells, house cleanThe place actually feels like a home again after many many years.
On another note we visited an ancient underground church today and took photos of each other. The photos are filled with orbs like you wouldnt believe.
