A "Dream Guide?"

Last night I had a dream that I was in a white place. A void of nothing, if you so choose. I was bored, and I wanted something to entertain me. So I made myself have wings - and I could fly. And then I decided I wanted snow, I wanted to be in a clearing that was surrounded by trees. Like a wave washing over a beach, everything I wanted appeared.

Except the trees had nets on them, and there was a tiny square that I knew if I flew out of, but I was confused, because I didn't want those to be there. And I also realized that I was tired. I turned around, because I felt that there was somebody else there, and there was. Only I couldn't quite tell who they were.

They then proceeded to tell me that it was easier to not command everything into existence like that. It was easier not to erase it (as I had planned on doing) to create another section of "World." It was easier to refresh it, in a way, a patch at a time, or to not acknowledge sections anymore, for they would fade, or I could move onto another area.

This person knew me, but I didn't know them, and it kind of scared me, so I took off.

Insight, please?

Was it a man or a woman do you know? It's really weird because you are describing one of my lucid dreams from last night that I felt sure was a shared dream.

I don't know. I remember looking at them, but I was absolutely certain it was a person I didn't know, and that scared me. I've been aiming to do shared/lucid dreams for a while now. I remember that after a few seconds, I did attempt their advice, and I "fixed" a patch of snow I'd romped through by "refreshing" it to look as though it hadn't been disturbed.

But whether or not I got scared, or the person moved, the next second I ran and launched myself in the air and flew out through the hole in the net.

But that would be so cool if it was a shared dream! ♥

Ah ok! I just thought it was interesting because it sounded a bit like my dream. I wrote it here if you're interested in reading it.

Also, I usually get scared when someone comes into my dream. I once compared it to taking a shower and then someone just pops up in your shower when you're naked and in the middle of washing your hair and stuff. It's an odd comparison lol, but that is honestly what it has reminded me of in the past...not that people normally pop up in my shower or anything.

You just feel kinda...surprised and "exposed" a bit.

Wow! That almost sounds entirely like what happened. I was busy creating my own little world, because I was so excited about being able to control something this time, and then I turn around and you're there. Only I didn't really look at you or see you, but I was asking for advice and stuff, although some of the dialogue escapes me. Though I might've tried to run away from you or follow you, lol.

Thanks so much! I'm so happy this was my first shared dream - even though it wasn't entirely intentional!
