Suddenly I saw one of my least favourite pop artist flying down the mountain on skis
LOL. Very few stories that start this way end happily. Glad it made you lucid!

It's kind of hard to know how to feel when an entertainer you don't particularly cares for makes you become lucid (or otherwise helps you out.) I'm not a big Julia Roberts fan but she totally bailed me out when I was stuck in total darkness in one LD. I didn't know how to feel on that one, heh heh...

      Congrats on the LD!

Yah I'm not sure. I guess that studies show that dream time is the same as waking time though. Perhaps I was slowly slipping off of my bed as started dreaming.

That's very cool. I wonder how fast your brain senses things while asleep, as you sound like time passed by a lot slower in the dream world than in reality.

Your correct about the terminology I suppose. Ill see if I can find another word for this feeling.. anyway

What I meant by semi lucid is that the idea that I was dreaming was beginning to dawn on me. Its like having a suspicion that somethings not quite right though your not sure what it is. When I realized what it was(I was dreaming) I was fully aware of the fact I was dreaming. I was Lucid..
So not lucid would be no suspicion and semi meant that I was beginning to suspect something.
      Thx for your feedback.

      BTW!
Congratulations anyway for your lucid dream.
Anyways I recommend you to use reality checks. You can never be 100% sure if you are dreaming or is reality in a dream and if you don't do RC's you may lose your lucidity fast.
It's a good thing you asked David to become purple instead of just imagine it yourself. What you did there was called "passive control". It's better for novices to use passive control so that they won't fade their dreams away.
When you are excited in a dream try to breath deeply and stay cool so you won't wake up.

It's funny when people use the "semi-lucid" term.
Think about it...Lucid means being aware of something. Lucid Dream means being aware of dreaming.
How could you be semi-aware of something? -_-
Anyways LDing in other words is realizing that you are dreaming so you can control everything.
When you wrote there with green you assumed that you were semi-lucid. How could you have been semi-lucid if you didn't actually realized it's a dream.
It's just something that happened from your dream. Just because it's not normal it doesn't mean you were dreaming lucid. Or if you prefer semi-lucid.
You should learn those terms before determining you are or not lucid in a dream.
