Kensei

I'm not too aware of my surroundings. They seem to be a large concrete island with some alien constructs on them - think forerunner designs (halo). I'm in a mechanical hardsuit that looks like a crab. As I walk along near the water's edge, two men come over and start to attack me. They're both in cartoony greek dress and I somehow know that one is zeus. The other one is a god, but I have no idea which one.

As they charge at me I 'pause' and turn on god mode. We fight for a long time, toe to robo-toe, and plunge into the dark water. As I move the suit to surface, I see Zeus aiming a huge barrel at me. He fires, and a harpoon pierces through the suit and through my left kidney area. Nonetheless, I burst out of the surface and face them. They ask me incredulously how I survived, but I don't tell them about the god mode.

I am standing in a field. Several houses surround the field, each made with dull orange bricks. It's quite a nice sunny day (a common theme in my dreams) but I feel sad. Apparently I had to go back to school. I saw my two friends, O and O walking past me quite happily. I walk towards where I know the school is, and turn into another field, this time with a football pitch. While walking accross, I join more people walking to school. Suddenly, a small blonde boy stands in front of me, smirking. I try and fail to get past him, and then I get hit from behind. A group of 12 year olds start beating me up, spinning me round, throwing me e.t.c. I'll teach the little f****** I think, but every time I try to throw a punch, I meet heavy resistance until I either stop short of them, or it hits with barely any force. They aren't actually hurting me, but its infuriating to not be able to do anything. I used to get bullied a lot (though never physically, thank god) and this used to be a common theme in my dreams . One of my friends, B, calls "I thought you said fighting Year 7's was easy!" They find my struggle hilarious, and eventually throw me at the ground and go off to play football. I walk away to take an alternate route: a small path running down the side of the field, seperated by a small hedge. I find a stick, hop on and zoom along about a meter off the ground. Suddenly, I see a floating stick in front of me, blocking my path. I think to myself, "If I were lucid right now, that stick would..." and BLAM! POW! THOCK! THWUMP! HEDGEMONY! I become lucid. The stick seems to be some kind of evil force, trying to manifest in the stick and morph to a form more dangerous to me. As it dramatically gathers itself, I just bluntly grab it out of the air. No evil in my dreams...well, other than my evil. I smile wikedly to myself. I wonder how those Year 7's will cope with a lucid warrior? Righteous fury welling inside me, I fly dramatically over the hedge and make a beeline for the football pitch where I can see the perpetuators. The dastardly curs! And then, the dream changes and I loose the little lucidity I had. The rest of the dream involves me placing presents in giant christmas stockings. Still, at least I had a new years lucid!

Finally, a dream that last longer than 6 lines

First Dream

I seem to be noble six (Halo reach XD). Im with the rest of noble team in this large, underground building. I feel depressed, because the other team members keep underestimating me because im the newbie. The room is like an octagonal prism, with a reverse jewel shaped ceiling. The smaller octagon at the top is faintly glowing blue. The whole chamber is about 30 - 40 meters high. Above me I can see a second floor with a (you guessed it) octagonal hole in the middle. From this hole 2 ramps descend, merging into one in the middle and ending up on the ground beside me. The walls are like thoe in halo reach forge. For those of you who havent played it, they're large metal panels with a thick metal border. Inside the border is a light blue transparent panel with metal behind it. It functions almost as a mirror. The leader, Carter, is explaining how we're going to attack this fortress from underneath. I continue to listen, but turn and look in the mirror - like wall. I'm a brown and silver ODST spartan. Everyone gets up and begins to leave. I sort of feel too depressed to even slaughter aliens. But then Kat waits for me, and cheers me up with a pep talk I run out of the room and into a firefight. I remember little about it, other than it was a massive L shaped room and we suffered no casualties. We somehow warp up into the fortress. We're now standing in a gargantuan octagonal (seeing a pattern?) courtyard. There is a huge wall running around the edge. People are living in the huge white walls, and there are many windows looking out. In the center of the courtyard is a command building. Guessed the shape? Keep pressing and guessing! You: Is it an octagonal prism? Me: Its the right answer! you've won 250 pounds! *cheering* *applause* Yeah... I approach a ramp winding around the side of it. Grabbing a rocket launcher, I run up it. Two robot jackals block my path. I take out the first with four rockts and the other tries to flee. I corner him by a barricade and blow him up. I make it to the top of the building and have to fight two psychic aliens. They use their abilities to throw baricades, bodies, dumpsters e.t.c. at me. I dodge them and gun them down with a machine gun. At last, the fortress is secured! We somehow know that the enemy will try to retake the fortress, so we all grab sniper rifles and camo cloaks. I climb through the residential flats to reach the top of the wall, and odly enough find comic-book-guys room. He's not in. I climb up his junk and go through a skylight onto the wall. I try to find a position to guard but people keep getting there before me and saying that its their spot. I try to shoot an enemy down below, but my gun shoots tennis balls. The dream fades.

Second Dream

Me, Ramona Flowers and two nameless guys are standing near this green slope. There are grooves cut into the slope, and several holes as well. Mr Willy Wonka and Charlie's grandpa are running marbles through the grooves, and are using blocks and strange tools to try and make the runs more and more complex. Apparently the rule is the ball has to go in a hole. We watch for a bit, but in the end we get bored (and ceeped out that Mr Wonka is wearing lipstick ) and exit through a door. The next bit is in fragments. Theres a map of a mall with shops down the sides and a crahsed, parasite infested space hulk in the middle... an old man telling us to destroy the ship... shooting mutant shark men... our own ship... Ramona grabbing me by the shoulders and angrily yelling "Did he activate the #2 ?!?" Then the dream sort of collapsed.

To summarise:

Not a lucid dream, but still pretty weird!

I was with a group of planetside soldiers, flying in a ship through mist. Eventually, we landed on a metallic construction like a large H with landing pads on each end of the H. Climbing out, I saw that we were in a low valley, with a grass floor sloping down. As we all ran down towards the exit of the valley, we came to an obstacle course based on all of the worlds countries. All I can clearly remember is that I got stuck on the windmill - rope - bridge, but eventually I got out and met up with the rest of the squad. We then drove in 'Lightning' rapid assault tanks towards a second valley, this time leading up. When we reached the top, we noticed a Store built into the cliff face. Curious, we walked up to it and were met by a smiling old couple, who invited us in and gave us food. But then, the news came! They were actually going to turn us in to some kind of evil warlord! The two old people ran off into a nearby sci-fi metal tunnel, and I gave chase, eventually cornering the woman who was actually an evil spirit in disguise! (seriously, my dreams really are this weird - and no, I dont do drugs ) Anyway, drawing my trusty Vanu blade, I activated its energy beam function, when it turned into a television. Yeah... Well, seeing no other options, I attacked the evil spirit / woman with the silver TV and Killed her, her shadow getting sucked into the screen. At this point the dream became confused, until I seemed to be floating behind darth vader, who was tring to escape past our troops in the valley. Oh, and he was armed with a bow and arrow. well, he did some metal gear style sneaking, and eventually made it to the ship, which was behind one of the H's pillars. He shot an arrow into a lone sentry's side, and then I woke up.

I really need to let up on the Planetside XD
