    Dreams I can Only Dream.

This is a collection of dreams I write down in my real DJ. I use this to either help remember more details, or track my progress in lucid dreaming. All the posts follow a format, date and time, followed by a description of what the dream was like. Whether it was a lucid dream, or regular. Also how clear it was and what not. Sometimes I will have multiple dreams in a post. I like to make use of the space I have available. Thanks for reading! Enjoy.

    1. A WILD Lucid at School.

by , 10-01-2010 at 04:34 PM (Dreams I can Only Dream.)
      Date.10-1-10
      Time: 9am-945am (Sometime Between These)

Note: Okay so it has been a really long time since I had a lucid, but this was short and sweet. It was scary though cause I ended up in SP, and my legs hurt bad cause of the position I was in. My dream recall has been off, and I just seem to have enough time to dedicate to LDing. This was a would be considered a WILD, but I really think it was an OBE.

Description: So I put my head down at this table we were sitting in for class, and people were presenting their power point presentations, I am going on very little sleep since school started. I fell asleep, but could still hear people talking, and at points I could actually see the screen we were looking at with my eyes closed, then went blind for a few seconds till I thought of the idea of windows.

Lucid Dream: So I put my head down, and close my eyes. Could still hear voices in the background, but I fell into a trance. Then the vibrations started happening, my legs felt really weird, my heart started to beat fast, and my head felt like energy was just rushing around there. I end up seeing the screen we were looking at, but I knew my eyes were closed. I instantly knew I was dreaming, since I had the dream body feeling. My body was completely heavy and hard to lift. I actually felt like I was being pushed downward. I grabbed onto my desk that I was sitting at and lifted my head trying to do a pull up. I sink through the chair into the void. I start imagining that my eyes are opening, so I end up in my bedroom at home. I still hear the voices in the background. I roll of the bed , and onto the floor as I try to walk. I go blind again. This time I pry my eyes open, and see my classmates sitting across from me, but I still feel incredibly heavy, so I stand up on the desk and it becomes a portal to the void. Once again I find another window to go back into the class, I pull the portal (Was edge of desk, but it was like a mirror, only without reflection) around my head, and end up back into my class. So I stand up and try to walk, but I was to heavy. I end up just wanting out, so I force myself out of the dream and open my real eyes. But my legs feel like they are still incredibly heavy, but the feeling wears off as I awaken.

    2. Taking out the Trash.

by , 09-02-2010 at 06:34 PM (Dreams I can Only Dream.)
      Date: Sept.2
      Time: 6:00am

Description: So I tried to use an alarm thing to wake me up in SP, but all it did was wake me up for good. So anyway I went back to sleep and woke around 6 am. I attempted a WILD, I got the vibrations, and auditory hallucinations. Then this dream happened. I lost lucidity quite early, but I was lucid nonetheless.

Dream: I got up from my bed, I did a nose plug reality check and it failed. So then I became aware that I was dreaming. I walked toward my door and tried another reality check, the finger through the palm RC. That also failed. So instead of getting all excited, I just noticed I was only wearing my boxers, so I walked toward the laundry room and found a pair of shorts. I put them on, and ran upstairs and outside. I wanted to fly. As I went into my backyard I passed a "How To" book on dreaming, I didn't pay any attention to it. I jumped into the air, but fell back down again. So I did another RC and it still failed. So I tried it several more times, I couldn't. Even with thoughts such as I know I can fly, and other things. I lost my lucidity right then as my mom and sister were taking out trash, so I decided to help them. (Thinking about it, I should of just ignored them.) The trash was quite full, and smelly. I put the trash out and walked back inside. My mom got a letter, about how messy the schools got after the last class of the year. She seemed annoyed when I told her that it was because of the last day of school, kids throw their papers. She would have none of it. So I go to my front door, and see this kid Omar I used to know, he walks up to me and asks if I have any Gatorade or anything like that, I say no only pop. My dad pulls up my driveway in his car, and my brother Josh right after. I go and pick up the book I saw earlier and flip threw the pages, and see instructions for different things, like teleportation, and flying. I black out, and wake up for real.

    3. The First

by , 08-24-2010 at 06:22 AM (Dreams I can Only Dream.)
      Date: Aug.22/23 Sunday
      Time: around 8:40 am

Description: To start off I want to explain something. I had this as my very 1st lucid dream to date that I can remember. I had another more lucid one right after this with more details and events and more control, but I will post that at a future time. Most of this is straight out of my dream journal by my bed. I also apologize if it doesn't seem like there weren't many details, the dream really only lasted about 1 minute.

Dream: The dream starts off with me looking at a stack of ps3 games and on top of them are ps2 games, I can't remember any of the titles but I think the very top ps2 game was NHL 2003. As I look at the stack I rotate them to see their spines. The games are sitting on my wooden brown desk at the center. I am sitting on my knees on the ground, and I notice my nephew on my computer struggling to play the ps2 games (pcsx2 for anyone that knows the program). So I tell him to move over so I can go to set it up. He gives me this look of frustration as he looks at the clock in my room, which I think (he never tells me, but I assume) that he has to go soon, that him and his dad are leaving. I tell him "Chill dude, it takes an hour to setup anyways." As I look at the screen and see some text, the text onscreen seem to shift and shake (that could of been my eyes, kind of like the shaky vision you get from drinking to much alcohol) and strange runic symbols appear. At that precise moment I yell out "HOLY CRAP, I AM DREAMING!" My stomach goes to butterflies and I get really excited. I fall backwards, and the scene starts to zoom out, I get the feeling you get when going down hills on a roller coaster, and now I am in a black void so to speak, I instantly remember the spinning technique that Laberge created. To re stabilize the dream, it works for a moment as I zoom back into the dream, I notice someone was sitting to my right, the lights were off and the glow of the computer screen was the only light source, I don't know who this third person was, my suspect is my nephews younger brother. I don't know. Now I zoom back out as soon as I touch down in the scene again but I kinda of lose consciousness so to speak. Now I imagine myself spinning, now a new seen appears where I am high above a city with lots of buildings, they all have a purple glow about them, I can tell it is night time, cause I see the windows have lights coming from out them. I am above the city, but again lose consciousness again (I mean everything turns pitch black) and I shoot out of my real bed, it takes me a moment to collect myself as this was the most intense thing of my life.

Other details: One extra detail I need to say, is once I went lucid, the feeling of being there was so real, except for it feeling like my body was kind of heavy or light, gravity on me seemed way different.

So there it is, I hope you guys have comments, I am interested in what you have to say about the experience, and it was an experience cause I really was there, it wasn't a memory of a dream, I was there!
