Very cool dream, and as someone else said in a comment from another dream, you really do have incredible recall.

You dreamed of a bridge in both dreams btw (I say with my head shrouded by a towel) lol.

I like the details. The ticket was pretty cool. If you thought it was cheap, you must have been owed more than a Super Bowl spot is worth.

Lol, animals with rabies are nice at first. Gotta watch those nice animals!

"Then she said, 'I'm married with kids, so don't get any ideas!' Like she thought I was coming into the bathroom to have sex with her!"

Lol! Sounds like something one of my DC's might have said. Straight from your own head...pure projection. It's like your brain is fighting with itself. Here's an image of a chic making you think about her boobs...but don't get any ideas dirty fella!

      LOL

I use the same thing. Before keeping a DJ i used to write down keywords from my dreams.

Thanks for your comments, Linkzelda. I hadn't thought of that comparison before. But I like it a lot. I like those anime scenes as well.

Thanks for your compliments, as well. I appreciate it a lot.

Ha. I was just looking at your journal and I was going to comment on how cool your flying dream was, but the diaper dream is just too funny to pass up. Everybody likes potty humor.

The speech reminds me of watching anime where the cute and pretty girl would stand up when the teacher would ask her to recite some poem in English (and it was always interesting to see them try to have an English accent).

And of course, there would be the lover boy who would just gaze at her beauty while she's being innocent reciting the poem. Of course, you took pleasure in her being treated indifferently, but then when everyone just ignores her completely when the bell rings, I thought it was nice of you to at least pretend or act like you were interested.

I find I do that in some of my dreams, I turn bold and cynical, and then end up feeling sorry for the DCs I meet. Especially the last lucid I had where I forced a female DC to open the door for me to find my Dream Guide.

Your dreams are pretty classy. They have that "home" feeling to it, like you're more down to earth, and that's not bad at all.

Hi Kaomea. Thank you, as always, for your insights.

I also wonder what role demons act in your dreams here... they didn't act directly with you but they seem to be drawing attention to specific areas.
I like this idea in particular. I'll have to think it over a bit. Thanks again.

My mom and my mom's friend were secretly worrying over me. They didn't say anything to me. But they were discussing the fact that I was seeing demons, and that I might, therefore, be suffering from schizophrenia. My sister may also have been involved in the conversation.

I got up, not quite feeling like myself, but still trying to prove that I was sane. I'm pretty sure the fact was that I was seeing demons. But I think I was trying to prove to somebody that they were real. But if I couldn't prove they were real, I could, at least, in the meantime, prove that I had a decent grip on the rest of reality.
Haha, demons finally! Just kidding. But when it comes to psychotic disorders, just keep in mind it's all about whether or not you're able to cope with the issues. There are many successful people who 'hear voices' and stuff like that. Think of pastors, psychics, etc.... the difference is they've found a way to make it work for them where it doesn't wreck havok in their lives.

So... it's perfectly healthy to hear voices

Dream #3 is interestion. There were demons there too when you decided to go off on your brother. Maybe everything is great between you and him IWL but if it's not, it might be good to figure out a way to voice yourself tactfully. Dreams allow us to view situations from various perspectives so hopefully this was helpful to you in some way. I also wonder what role demons act in your dreams here... they didn't act directly with you but they seem to be drawing attention to specific areas.

Thank you, Superchaz. I think of my dream memory as a zip-file kind of process. If I let one or two points stay anchored in my memory, the rest kind of re-expands around the points.

It's the way I remember things IWL, too -- like conversations I have with people or things I read. Anchor onto the key points and let the rest re-expand.

Unfortunately, both IWL and IDL, I'm pretty sure my memory is far from 100% accurate. So I don't know it the zip-file memory method is always the best...

Plus, I don't even know how zip-files work. So I'm probably totally off base.

Thanks for the comments, DreamWest. I like your comments about boldness and rudeness. I think you're right about that.

I don't know why the heck that guy kept changing in my dream -- and why it never occurred to me that he was changing! Weird...

But... His guilt trip was all me. I could easily see myself making excuses like that guy made. I'd think up something or other. So maybe the dream was about me finally learning to "beat" that part of myself -- to actually try hard in life instead of constantly making excuses for myself.

Both dreams were really cool. To me it seems like people are often slightly bolder and do more of what they want in their dreams and its nice that you chose to fix your rudeness to that boy in class. The transitions of the man you beat and his guilt trip were also quite interesting and seemed meaningful.

I think a lot of people who practice OBEs prefer to do so from a waking or meditative state. From what I've read about it, OBErs sometimes accidentally discover they can project by waking up in a dream that ends up being an OBE. But they then move on to doing OBEs from a waking state. So maybe that's why EEGs, even in technically "sleeping" OBErs, are more like waking EEGs.

Personally, I don't practice any techniques. I need a teacher, and a safe space, if I'm going to practice. But I enjoy dreaming. And that's fine enough for me.

Thank you. I plan to read some more of your entries as you post them; they seem quite revealing about the personality. I've only begun working with OBEs tbh - I got one on my first night of attempting it luckily but haven't been met with the same level of success since. The process of refining technique is fun though. Do you take any measures to induce lucidity or an OBE besides keeping a DJ?

(There's something about OBEs which isn't really talked about much on Dreamviews and that is that during them, EEG readings resemble a waking state and that they don't have to revolve around REM periods like lucid dreams.)

LOL. I really, really want to party in the most liberal form of the word. Actually, given my sedentary personality, I probably don't.

I had a really solid sleep last night -- surprisingly. I think my brain just zonked me out completely and said, "Your spirit is staying put right here tonight."

And, during the evening, I did something that usually screws around with my dream recall: I read through my old dreams too late at night.

I think the woman in white coming up the stairs could mean that some of the unconscious elements of my psyche will resurface, so I can re-integrate them into my life. They can move from neglected and dysfunctional to acknowledged and functional.

      That's it?!?!??!?!?! OMG!

Did you party last night? Party has many definitions too, I mean in the most liberal form of the word. I don't think I recall ever seeing you post an entry this short.

For a one dream night this one seems important though. White robe, up from the depths, something carried up a stairwell ... any speculation on what it means?

Hi Jester KK. Thanks for the comment. No problem. I like your dreams a lot, too. You do a lot of work with OBEs. That's impressive. I haven't had a really vivid astral projection in years. So I love reading about yours.

Thanks, Lucy, for sending a virtual umbrella my way!
