This was a dream of many firsts. It was the first time I tried spinning in a LD. It was also the first time I studied my hands in a LD. Most importantly (to me anyhow), it was my first flight in a LD. It didn't seem like a big deal or even enjoyable really. I just saw the clump of trees and looked at it for a second. The next thing I know, I had arrived there. Is that even flying?

I had flown many times in a reoccuring dream in my childhood. The other kids and I would take folding chairs out to the parking lot of our school. We'd sit in the chairs and lean back on the back two legs (the same way the teachers tell you not to!) and we would float off, and sort of back stroke through the air over the parking lot.
