    Crazy Clocks and Magical Water-Balloons

    Magical Water-Balloons
I am GMing a game of Mage: The Awakening. The guys need a bathroom break, as do I. I end up having to wait. We get back to gaming. As I describe an in-game note to the players, one of the players interrupts and starts to finish my description. It's not correct though. I stop him and correct the information. Then the information is sent in game (as though I was actually seeing what that world was like) via magical water-balloons filled with tass, carried by a bird.

    Video Cameras and Crooked Judges
Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation set up a video camera in his daughter's room. I find it in the broken smoke detector on the ceiling. He turns me into the authorities for drug use. I somehow convince the judge not to sentence me.

    Crazy Clock & False Awakenings
I wake up but feel very heavy and can hardly move. Something doesn't seem right. I can barely see. It's hard to see anything but the bottom of my field of vision, my eyes are so heavy. I can sometimes move my body out of my bed but then I see my pillow when I open my eyes too far. I realize I need to do a reality check. I reach down the side of my bed and grab my alarm clock to look at it. The clock is wider than it is in real life and there are strange symbols "counting" very quickly. "I am dreaming!" I can feel the dream slip away but I say, "No, hold it together!" and I rub my hands together. I can feel my legs are smooth from shaving, they as they rub against the comforter of the bed. I breath deeply through my nose but I don't smell anything.

I am still very heavy and having a hard time moving. It's as though my muscles are weak. Sometimes when I try to look around everything goes dark. When I open my eyes, I wake up again. After a second or two I realize that I am still dreaming. This keeps happening again and again. I crawl out of bed and head for the door of my room, but then I open my eyes more to see and I wake up with my pillow in front of me.

Eventually I feel myself give up, this is taking too much effort. I wake up for real. I double-check my alarm clock and know that I am really awake.

    Second Job
I see a want ad for a printing job on a second shift schedule. I realize the job that is posted is probably the one I used to do seasonally for Jostens in their diploma factory. I decide that I should go and apply for that job but I can't find my car in the parking lot.
