I find it both exciting and frustrating when lucid dreaming is mentioned in one of my dreams. It's always a good sign though! I don't know if you've watched Reece's videos yet, (you can find the link in the homework thread) but he would classify this as a layer zero dream. Definitely shows some progress! Two days before this you had another dream that mentioned LDs, right?

Before I came to this forum, I never realized the dreamer could die in their dreams. It's never happened to me. It's always interesting what happens once your dream body is dead though. You had an exciting dream, those are always fun to write down.

That sounds delicious. Did you actually eat it? Do you remember any other details from the dream? Do you remember what color the pasta was?

It was the little i could remember of an epic. So much more happened before. I hate it when I forget long elaborate dreams when I know they were long and elaborate.

Haha I did that to keep myself from having fearful thoughts.

Yeah I occasionally have dreams where I go through the vibrations and SP transitions, but they are really uncomfortable and scary, for no reason at all. Which is a shame, because here we are in a lucid state, and have every opportunity to turn things around to our favor.

Very cool dream! I like the part where you decide to move your arms like you're lifting weights during the vibrations stage. Even more cool was the fact that you entered the dream, and you were actually going through the motions of lifting weights, even though they were invisible. I wonder if that would work with piano?

Interesting experience there, my first flying 'lucid' dream was from a dream in which I dreamt I had induced an OBE, I was flying around school.
It's funny how control doesn't seem to work when you 'induce' a lucid dream from within a dream (like with you trying to zoom into the book).

      Congrats on the WILD!

You should get into the habit of reality checking after every time you perform a WILD, even if you think you've failed, in case this happens.

It's a shame you got scared, I get the same, for some reason I feel quite vulnerable if I have a false awakening and I have low control, I find the easiest thing is to just jump straight of my bedroom window (no gravity to hurt you!) and it's usually daylight outside.
