Eventually the android settles down a bit, shifts herself next to me, and we make out for a little bit. After about 15-20 seconds, though, she becomes non-responsive and just sort of stops moving.

Ah yes, the programming for "bliss!" Cool lucid and it feels like you go to see some of the dream forming process live, both the android changing and the street being drawn on the fly while running.

“What’s Khuddush?” I ask.

“You don’t know? This is supposed to be your dream. If I know something that you don’t, does that mean…?” Her voice trails off.

So cool! Do you know anyone that speaks Arabic(most commonly spoken language in Egypt now)? I think I saw a DV member with an Egyptian flag...one of the guys that likes to post in the "beyond dreaming" sections but the guy I am thinking of has removed his country flag. I may send him a PM in case. I love looking up stuff I see in my dreams. I had a 7 digit phone number once that had a few matches to actual listings in google in some local area codes, one of which was the neurology department at a university (eventually brushed it off as nothing). Last night I had a highway number (non lucid) and looked it up, one such highway in Louisiana. Maybe travelled on it when I was really young but not sure.

You know, I guess it has to be the recent successes I've had had and read in others DJs with in-dream WILDs... it seems to have just got it on my mind. Or maybe I was just loopy and silly like usual at the start of a lucid. It wouldn't have been a terrible thing to happen, I guess, as I've been intending to try to use it as a teleportation method to see whether that gets me anywhere.

Thanks, Highlander! It's such a strange thing to see. I get that strong feeling of "that's not supposed to happen!", but happen it does in spite of what I think.

And it's a dream, so doing a double take doesn't help. Reality has actually shifted around you. Takes a lot of getting used to!

That is bizarre by attempting a WILD in an LD. It must be quite ingrained in your psyche.

I always find it interesting when I see a DC's facial features change in front of me. It can be a bit spooky sometimes.

Yes, I agree! Spellcasting seems like a perfect set of schema for lucid dreaming. I can't think of any more familiar way to do things which are completely impossible in waking life but we've seen time and again in Harry Potter movies.

You and I have both naturally done a lot of force-pushing. Same thing! You see it a bit, your mind mulls it over, accepts it as a reasonable schema to apply in a dream, and you're all set!

Ha ha, thanks! Let's hope this is my all-time worst experience with dream food because it has been awesome up until now!

Yeah, dreams feature very, very low impulse control, PLUS a completely consequence-free environment. Even in the Matrix they didn't have that going against them!

Thanks, fogelbise! Yeah, the mirror visuals were a great surprise. Even if you're focused on something completely different, it seems like dreams are still always full of surprises. I love that about them.

Yeah, Nyx, thanks! It was feeling like hard work wrangling them both, particularly my supposedly grown-up friend F, who I could barely stop from bounding through the air. I enjoyed the mirror a great deal as well, particularly since each transition was just such a surprise. Dreams are cool!!
