You mean like tell them they are in a dream? I never tried that. Do they react negatively? I just treat them like they are real, I never face them with the ugly truth that they are not real .

Its great that you had so much fun with other dream characters. Maybe you could help them but explain there is nothing to worry about by being calm yourself.

I forgot to mention that I used spinning and touching my body to stay lucid when I felt threatened of waking up.

I'm sure you can do it! Just don't stress over it. I did that for a while after my first LD that I could stabilize, and for around 2 months I couldn't have another. Relax and expect it. I don't do reality checks regularly anymore, but I did for a while, and I think that's why sometimes in dreams I notice when things are odd, or when I'm not supposed to be in the place I'm in.

Also, try naps in the morning after you have a good sleep. You know these times when you feel drowsy although you don't need to sleep? listen to your body. I'm still a beginner, and my LD record is not that big, but I always had my LDs during these naps.

      Good luck!

Sounds like you are really working well on those dreams. I made the mistake of telling my sister when I had my first real lucid and I did not have one since but I feel another one on the way soon.

lol yea it is fair. I will try to do RCs when I wake up, to be prepared for it when it happens again.

It was a false awakening, no doubt. It's a great way to get lucid, if you can spot them of course! I find that double checking my phone's clock is a good way to do it, when I remember to. The humain brain is a tricky little thing, it will do all it can to make fun of you; tricking it back is fair game

Well, I called it a training because since you have already done it, your brain can't tell you it's impossible. 'Cause it's been done. It's like Harry's patronus in the prisonner of azkaban. Which also involved time travel. Coincidences? I think not.

Look like your subconscious had a bit of fun with you! But hey, time travelling training is neat. I hope your health will get better soon.
and as for lucidity... Better luck next night
Thanks for your wishes I'm still puzzled why I didn't become lucid. The tricks our minds play .

Also what I did in this dream was mainly from what I read, and not from personal experience. Only controlling my own character and talking to my subconscious were things I did before. Not changing scenes, or time travel, or trying to get answers from dream characters. I hope that means subconsciously I believe I can do these things and know how to do them through the knowledge I collected from reading others experiences.

After a comment from Sageous classifying my dream as DEILD, I realized I confused the two concepts, DEILD and WBTB
