    1. Doctor Visit, Dream Figure Describes Dream Creation, Visit with my Daughter - Apr 2, 2015

      by , 04-04-2015 at 08:30 PM
WBTB 3:00 Am, Read Dreamviews dream journals, Mantras (written and spoken), and then I got all my pillows organized in their perfect places, then to bed - about 1 hour later. I then laid in bed and repeated my mantras in my mind until I was feeling sleepy, then I started to meditate. I was doing body energy work where you bounce your energy in a clockwise direction around your bedroom, off the walls and through your body and out the other side. After one complete rotation, I would pick a different plane to repeat the exercise. One bounce takes about 1 to 2 seconds. A mental image of my room builds in my mind as I proceed. It’s like your scanning the room with a beam of body energy. After about 10 minutes I started to do tactile imagery where I was climbing a ladder, and then I move on to climbing a rope, and then picking up coins with my right hand and dropping them into my left. By this point my body is asleep and my mind is awake. Sometimes my hands or feet start to feel really sore (pulse with pain), so I move energy away from feet (repeating) to my torso, and then the pain fades and disappears. This is a common problem while in ‘the void’, or in deep meditation, and I accidently stumbled across this method of getting rid of the aches. It works awesome!

While in ‘the void’, hypnagogic imagery and occasional voices happened. Then I got a 2 dimensional picture of a hospital room, and it quickly turned to 3D (lucid dream). I started to walk around the room, but it was black and white, and of poor clarity. A nurse walked past me, and I decided to close the curtain around the bed, so I could focus on improving clarity. A doctor then walked in through the opening in the curtain and stood beside me. Then my vision started to fade quickly, so I asked the doctor to hold onto my hands, and he did. Darn, I was now back in ‘the void’, but I was still holding onto the doctor’s hands. I could hear somebody laughing to the right of me, and then the doctor said something. Soon after, the doctor let go of my hands, and I woke. Position and pillow change.

I tried to repeat the WILD technique described above, but I fell asleep, and then I had this interesting Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). In this dream I was viewing it in 3rd person, from above, and it was an excellent Rambo movie scene! Rambo was driving a quad with really big wheels, and towing a fifth wheel style, semi-trailer (all camouflaged). On both sides of the semi-trailer were two army tanks being towed by heavy cables. These tanks were literally skidding across the ground on their tracks, and it really made no sense to me how a quad could possibly have this much pulling power. I realized I was dreaming - DILD (for several reasons)! Rambo was driving this assault vehicle combination through the thickest jungle ever, and trees were flying! He fished tailed onto a logging road, and under a bridge, and then one of the tanks drifted way off into the forest knocking foliage everywhere. He then drifted through a parking lot and smashed sideways into a restaurant. I then moved from 3rd person to 1st, and I followed Rambo as he ran into a restaurant in a blaze of glory with his dual machine guns!

The two women behind the cash register ducked as bullets flew overhead, and the patrons looked at us as if we were aliens (kind of WTF look). I instantly told Rambo to stop shooting because he was going to hurt these people, then he unexpectedly turned into a regular looking guy with a huge smile on his face. I quickly looked around the restaurant, and nobody looked any worse for wear, so I headed outside. When I got outside, I noticed that we were inside a huge facility, and the Rambo Assault Vehicle was still there, smashed into the side of the restaurant. A very tall 7 foot man was standing beside Rambo’s vehicle admiring it. I figure he have been the dream creator of this awesome Rambo action scene I just watched, so I asked him, “Did you just create this amazing action dream with Rambo and this assault vehicle?” He laughs and replies, “Heck no, this action dream was created through the thoughts of hundreds of people!” I wasn’t expecting that answer. Interesting!

After he said that I started to float up above the wreckage and restaurant to see if there was an exit out of this facility. The ceiling was really high, maybe 100 feet, and it was lined with offices and mezzanine walkways. There were people everywhere, and several of them were watching me as I flew around the perimeter of the facility. A child then shouted my name and said, “Show us some lucid dreaming tricks!” Okay, I’ve never had that request before, so I flew into the central area of the facility, about 40 feet off the floor, and I started to form a beach ball size of white light in my hands. I was planning on giving it to the kid, but then the dream fading, so I immediately took off flying right through the facility wall and into the blue skies.

It was an amazing summer day, and I was flying over a massive city on the coast. There was one very tall building in the city’s central area, so I flew up to it for a closer look. The building was covered in black reflective glass, and reduced in cross section at several intervals in elevations. I could see many people inside the building, through the tinted windows, and I thought maybe this would be a good place to meet up with my daughter. When I got to the roof, the wind was way too strong for a safe landing, so I abandoned mission, and I decided to look for a better place. I quickly flew over to the coastline and saw a beautiful park below with a large concrete monument (war hero remembrance site). I landed on this large concrete deck with concrete railings, a monumental statue, and steps going down in two different directions. There was grass all around, a sidewalk, several covered bench areas, lots of people, and the view of the ocean that was nothing short of amazing! I then started to call for my daughter to come, saying I found a beautiful place for use to meet at.

As I was walking down one of the concrete stairs, my oldest sister appeared out of thin air, right in front of me. She said, “I figured I’d find you here!” I walked up to her and held both her hands and said, “Yes, this place is amazing!” My 2nd oldest sister then appeared to her left and said, “Hi!”, and then my son appeared to my right on another set of steps, “Hi dad!”. Then my daughter appeared right in front of me. She was crying, I ran up to her and held her in my arms, asking her what’s wrong? She said, “I can’t do this. I don’t want you talking to mom about this anymore.” I then remembered the nasty argument mom and I had the other day about my lucid dreaming visits with my daughter, and I said, “Are talking about the argument mom and I had the other day?” She said, “Yes.” I woke after that, and I realized just how upset my wife gets when I talk about all the wonderful visits my daughter while lucid or in an OBE; whereas my wife barely remembers any of her dreams, and dreams with her daughter has only happened a couple of times since her passing. I’ve decided in the future to only discuss these dreams with my wife if she specifically asks, or if she is directly involved in the dream in some way.
    2. A Big Hug, a Smile, and a Dream Figure Acknowledging Lucidity - Feb 20, 2015

      by , 02-21-2015 at 08:10 PM
Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) for about 1 hour (studied lucid dream techniques). I incubated a dream by using pictures while repeating a mantra for 10 minutes. Lights out followed by about 45 minutes of deep meditation with hypnagogic imagery and voices, then I fell consciously asleep (failed WILD). About 15 minutes later I woke up after having this dream induced lucid dream (DILD) and OBE attempt:

In this dream I was sitting in a darkly lit room with a friend watching TV. I thought to myself, I’m supposed to be attempting a WILD right now, not watching TV! I looked around the room to find a place to go back sleep, but there wasn’t any place suitable, and I was concerned the TV would interfere with my sleep, so I decided to go upstairs. Half way up the stairs my vision went black, and then I realized I was in fact already dreaming! I sat down on the top step holding onto the bannister, thinking, how can I get my vision back, so I could continue on with this lucid dream (LD). Suddenly I was back in bed, consciously awake, but my body was sleep.

Then somebody hugged me! It was a long lasting firm hug, and I felt safe. Then I got ‘the vibrations’, and I thought, “Great, time to OBE exit!” I opened my ‘dream eyes’ and I saw a glowing, yellow/orange hoop floating in front of me (a porthole), and sitting on my bed, to my right, was my daughter! She had beautiful, long, full body hair, the biggest smile, and she was saying something, but I couldn’t hear what she was saying, because there was a lot of electrostatic buzzing and crackling sounds. She was now pulling on my shoulders for me to get up! I normally leap to my feet when I feel the ‘the vibrations’, so that’s what I tried to do, but instead my physical body moved, and it was over. I was now physically awake. Darn it! Thinking back on the situation, given the circumstances, I should have tried to sit-up in bed instead of leaping to my feet.

After several more dreams, I ended up having another DILD. In this dream I was at work, and there were several incongruities that tipped me off that I was dreaming. First; buildings that don’t exist; second, ceilings way taller than waking world; and finally, an employee lounge. Yes, an employee lounge could only truly exist in a dream! Not only that, a waiter walked up to me and offered me pancakes! I walked out of the lounge onto a wooden deck. There were several people sitting around enjoying the gorgeous, sunny, summer afternoon. There was a man standing beside the deck and I walked up to him, because I recognized him from somewhere (not sure where). I sincerely said, “Howdy mister!”, and he looked at me with a huge smile and replied, “Ahh, I see! Doesn’t it feel really uplifting when you become lucid!”, as he reached down with both hands and cupped his stomach, and then he raised one arm up above his head, while making a flowing action with his hand. I looked at him, and said, “Yes, that’s it! It’s like a huge adrenaline rush, and it’s all brilliant!”

Right after I said how brilliant lucid dreams are, my vision started to fade, so in an attempt to maintain lucidity, I leapt from the porch to fly, but I crash landed on my chest. By this point everything was blurry and distorted, and then I tried to shoot up into space, but I just fell backwards onto the ground. By this point all was black, and I was lying perfectly motionless, focussing my intent to get back into the dream. Then, very unexpectedly, somebody grabbed onto my right ankle and started to rotate me slowly counter clockwise. By this point I was consciously awake, with my body asleep, and I was back in bed, but still rotating. Somebody was still pulling on my ankle! It felt like I made one or two more rotations in bed, and then they let go. I felt myself slowly align with my physical body. I woke up and continued to lie perfectly still while recalling all of the dream experiences. Once I was satisfied that I had remembered all the dreams I could, then I did my voice recording. I went back to sleep and had many more wonderful dreams. It was wonderful, amazing night full of dreams.
    3. Crazy Blonde Woman, Space, Fairies, and Sarcoma - Feb 15, 2015

      by , 02-20-2015 at 05:08 AM
This was a dream filled night.

In this dream I was visiting some old family friends in Washington State. The father and son were arguing, and the boy started to cry. Shortly thereafter the father stormed out of the house, so I scooped up my poodle and ran outside to talk to the father about what just happened. He jumped in car and ‘rolled down’ his window, then slightly glanced my way. My poodle was in my left arm, and I put my right hand on the driver’s door window sill to start up a conversation. Being very upset, he wasn’t up for talking, so he ‘floored’ his car out of the driveway. One problem, I was still holding onto the window sill! I didn’t want to let go or else I would go tumbling down the road and possibly hurt my dear little poodle. Then I realized this can’t possibly be happening! Boom, a dream induced lucid dream (DILD).

Immediately, I let go of the driver’s door, and I flew up into the air carefully holding my poodle. I flew up alongside another car that driving in the same direction as my friend’s. Then I reached for the passenger door handle, opened it while flying (new LD experience), and I jumped in. A blonde hair woman was driving, and she was nothing short of nuts! As soon as I sat down, she immediately gave me this insane look, and then she started to drive erratically and totally out of control! I looked at my poodle, to make sure she was okay, but now the woman’s head was on my dog! My dog started to laugh and smile at me, while saying, “Yeah, yeah, yeah!” Thinking about this now, I have no idea why I started to panic, but I did. I decided to abandon this lucid dream, and I tried to wake myself up, but I couldn’t. Great, I usually struggle to stay lucid and not wake, but now when I want to wake, I can’t. Now I couldn’t move! Then I woke, and I was lying in bed thinking, “Man, I sure didn’t handle that very well.”

I remained perfectly still, and let my body fall asleep, while I was consciously awake. After visualization and hypnagogic imagery, I found myself entering a dream, lucid. I this lucid dream I was standing in a warehouse with a couple of childhood friends. I said, I think we might be in a shared lucid dream. One of my friends replied, “No we’re not.” I said, “Yes we are, and I can prove it! Follow me.” I then took them to a large mirror that was hanging on the wall, and said, “Take a look at yourself! You’re young again!” Both of my friends stood there looking in the mirror, amazed by what they saw, and one replied, “I think you’re right, we are dreaming!” Suddenly a bunch more of my friends appeared and we all stood around looking in the mirror. Strangely I was my current age, but everyone else was young.

A co-worker then walked up the mirror and looked in it. I asked him, “How old do you look?” He said, “hmm, maybe 17 or 18?”, and then he looked at me and said, “Who are you?” I introduced myself, but he still didn’t know who I was, so I said, “You probably don’t know me because we don’t meet for another 20 years or so.” Then I woke, but I remained perfectly still to try and get back into the lucid dream, because I was really enjoying it! What happened next was really cool.

I was back in the warehouse again, and perfectly lucid, but all my friends were gone. I tried to remember what my dream intent was (to visit with my daughter and heal somebody), but I couldn’t remember either. So I walked out of the warehouse and stood in the ‘back forty’ admiring the extreme vividness of the night’s sky. The stars were immensely beautiful and dramatic, way more intense than the waking world’s. I decide to fly into space to simply enjoy its beauty, so I raised my right hand, and lifted off, but I was only moving slowly. At this speed I’ll never reach space. When this happens, I simply close my eyes, and accelerate up into space with great speed. After the wind stopped howling, and when I could no longer feel the wind blowing against my skin, I knew I was in space, so I open my eyes. The earth was below me, the sun was off to my right, and I tell you, it was blinding and very irritating. The sun is usually hidden behind a black disc when I’m in space, but this time, for some reason, it wasn’t. I then accelerated through space to get away from the sun to a place where it was nice and dark, so I could simply admire the brilliance of space.

The stars where flying past me, like warp 9.5 (Star Trek), and then I came to a standstill, to simply admire the backdrop of deep space. Then the most bizarre thing happened; 5 or 6 fairies flew past me, leaving a trail of white smoke and sparkles. I figured this is my queue to follow, so I did. These fairies were all different colors of the rainbow. I know, this sounds like a 60’s acid trip or something, but this is what I saw! Believe me, I’m not into fairies, but whatever, I’ll go with it. The fairies arced sharply to the right and flew into a huge spacecraft full of square openings resembling a giant honeycomb. The opening was about 8 feet square and I carefully flew over the fairies, so as not to hurt them, and landed about 15 feet down the opening. The walls of ‘opening’ were covered in white butterflies. Honestly, I was thinking, this is one insane lucid dream. I’m more into realism, and this was anything but that.

“Okay fairies, let’s all sit in a circle over here and introduce ourselves!” I watched with amazement as these colorful little (10 inch tall) fairies walked up to me, while the white butterflies fluttered on the walls and ceiling. They all gathered around, and then they all turned into young children about 3 or 4 years of age! Boy and girls. They all introduced themselves, one at time (I can’t remember all their names), but the first girl was named Arcadia. Btw, the spacecraft was now moving through space at a very extreme speed, because I could see stars whipping past the opening. After they introduced themselves, I looked at the first girl and said, “Let’s see if I got this straight,” as a pointed her, “You’re Arcadian.” Then I heard my dear daughter laugh and say, “Dad, her name’s Arcadia, not Arcadian!” I then looked at the kids closely to see which one was my daughter, but before I could figure out which one was her, we landed back on Earth, at some sort of daycare center. A pretty woman helped all of the kids down from the spacecraft, and then I stepped past her as I grinned with excitement.

The woman smiled at me and asked, “Did you have fun?” I excitedly said, “Yes, it was great! We were in space with fairies!”, and I turned to point at the spacecraft, but it was now a play structure. What the heck! She laughed at me and said, “You have a great imagination!” I didn’t even try to argue with her, because what just happened was beyond belief. The kids scattered in all directions, and the daycare was now full of adults. Everything was extremely vivid and clear. An African guy, with gray clay on his face, walked past me, and I put my hand on his shoulder, smiled at him with amazement, and I said, “Hi!” He looked at me and said, “What?” Then one of my dream guides came up to me and said, “Quit touching people, and wipe that smile off your face, you need to blend in.” He looked really angry and pissed off at me (He’s not very sociable). I was just happy to be there, and I felt gratitude for what I was experiencing.

There was a young man standing against the wall. He was well over six feet tall, had brown short hair, and was very muscular. His wrists were chained together, and the skin around his eyes was dark, and his face was very pale. He really looked sickly. My first thought was to shear off the chains his wrists using my fingers, but then I thought maybe he’s under arrest or something. I asked him, “What are you in for?” He barely opened his eyes as he slurred, “Narcotics and sarcoma.” I thought, “Oh, he’s arrested for doing drugs, but what’s sarcoma? What does that mean? It sounds a bit like carcinoma.” I felt like I should do something for him, but I couldn’t figure it out (my dream intent to heal somebody), so I asked him, “What did you say?” and he replied once again, “Narcotics and sarcoma.” I started to feel upset because I knew I had to do something, but I didn’t know what, and then I woke up from this amazing string of lucid dreams.

I did a Wiki on sarcoma and this is what it said: “A sarcoma (from the Greek σάρξ sarx meaning "flesh") is a cancer that arises from transformed cells of mesenchymal origin. Thus, malignant tumors made of cancellous bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, vascular, or hematopoietic tissues are, by definition, considered sarcomas. This is in contrast to a malignant tumor originating from epithelial cells, which are termed carcinoma. Human sarcomas are quite rare. Common malignancies, such as breast, colon, and lung cancer, are almost always carcinoma.”

    4. Barbie Doll Woman, False Daughter Visit, and Karaoke Fail - Feb 14, 2015

      by , 02-17-2015 at 01:00 AM
I did the Wake Induced Lucid Dream technique using visualization followed by hypnagogic imagery until I slipped into a lucid dream without losing consciousness. I was sitting at my weight bench in the basement, and then this girl walked up beside me in a grey hoodie, with the hoodie over her head, but I could see her face, and she was very pretty. She sat on a bench in front of me and faced me with a smile. I thought, “Hmmm, who’s this cutie?” I felt the dream start to fade so I leapt to my feet and started to swirl, but the dream ended and I was back in the void with my body asleep, but my mind was aware. I focussed on trying to get back into that dream, but I lost consciousness and fell asleep.

The next dream was a bit odd, because I became lucid for no reason at all. I was walking towards an old fashion wooden staircase, and then suddenly I was lucid. I thought where the heck am I? The stair case went half way up to an intermediate landing, and then the stairs went in the opposite direction, off this landing, to the 2nd storey. I continued up the second set of stairs to the 2nd storey, but just before I reached the 2nd storey, I saw a woman walking towards the staircase on the 1st storey, so I peeked my head over the staircase handrail, right near the 1st storey’s ceiling, and I saw this amazing looking woman. She didn’t see me because my body was hidden by the staircase, and my head was right up near the ceiling.

This woman looked like a Barbie doll. She was tall and thin, had long blonde hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a knee length, light green skirt and matching jacket. Now what was odd about this woman was her perfect complexion, and her face had no wrinkles whatsoever. It was so perfectly smooth it didn’t seem to be real (like a Barbie doll). Also, her entire eyes were jet black with no whites. She was really quite the stunning site to see. Just before the steps she bent over and picked up a small golden colored object, about the size of beetle. She rose back up to almost standing and then she tilted her head slightly as if she could hear something (she still didn’t know I was there). Then I said, “Hey, hello!” She jumped back about 2 feet, and I totally startled her. I mean she looked like she just saw the devil himself. Again, I said, “Hi!” Her mouth dropped open and she backed up about another 5 feet right to the edge of another room. Then she grew old and wrinkly right before my eyes, and shrunk about 1 foot in height. Then she turned into an old wrinkly, gray haired man, and then she turned into a grayish and green cloud. By this point I was so shocked by her transformations that I woke and voice recorded my lucid dreams. I guess she didn’t feel very safe being around me. I just wanted to talk to her, holy smokes, chill!

I was lying in bed, consciously awake with my body asleep, and then I got some very faint vibrations. I could feel one of my legs floating around. I thought great, OBE time! Yeah! I tried to leap out of bed, but my physical body moved, and it was over, and then I fell asleep.

The next dream was a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). The dream leading up to this DILD was very interesting and fun, but I’ll jump forward to the DILD. I walked into a utility room, and at the far end of the room was a pretty Asian woman cleaning something in a sink. When I saw her I became instantly lucid! I remembered my dream intent to visit with my daughter. The room had a landing at the door, and then it dropped down a couple of steps into the room. I was standing on the landing, and I couldn’t see the entire room. I bluntly said, without introductions, “Where’s my daughter?” She looked at me slightly confused, shrugged her shoulders, and said, “I don’t know?” I called, “Daughter please come, I’m lucid!” The woman suddenly looked with interest to the corner of the room, which was hidden from my field of view.

To my surprise, a beautiful, dirty blonde haired woman came running around the corner and into my arms. I said, “Daughter, is that you?” She happily replied, “Yes, it’s me dad!”, and then she planted a big kiss right on my lips. I was thinking to myself, she doesn’t sound like my daughter, and my daughter certainly isn’t so quick to give me a big kiss on the lips. An elderly woman then walked into the room beside us and she pointed her finger at the woman I was hugging, and she shook her head side to side to let me know that wasn’t daughter. I understandingly nodded at the older woman, and then she smiled back at me. I thought to myself, well since I’m here I might as well hug her a bit longer, since, well, she was quite beautiful, and she felt pretty real to me! After about 10 or 15 seconds, I let her go, and I went off to find my daughter.

I walked out the building and onto an outdoor, karaoke stage. There was small crowd of people, and so I decided to give it a try. I forgot about my intent to visit with my daughter. Distractions, distractions….., so I picked up the microphone, and the DJ put on an old song from the 70’s. I recognized the song, but I couldn’t remember the words, so I tried to do the best I could, but I sounded like crap and out of tune. Then I notice a woman walking through the field in red skirt and jacket, and this clued me to remember my lucid dream intent. Instantly, I dropped the microphone, and tried to fly to her, but I couldn’t seem to get any altitude, and I landed in the crowd. My vision faded and I woke.

    5. Meeting with Loved Ones and Not so Loved Ones - February 11, 2015

      by , 02-15-2015 at 04:49 AM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream (WILD). This was a very vivid string of lucid dreams, more vivid and clear than waking life itself. After a 1 hour Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) routine I closed my eyes and meditated. I focussed on visualize on having a stack of 10 or so coins in my hand, then opening my hand and allowing the coins to fall. It started off as flashes of light and over about 15 or 20 minutes I had reasonably clear imagery of this happening, then my body was asleep, but my mind was conscious, and I simply let all thoughts go, and I let the imagery present itself however it may happen. I simply went with the hypnogogic imagery, and I did not influence it. The imagery transitioned into a lucid dream after about a half hour, and I found myself standing there in my parent’s house. I could hear my poodle barking outside.

She always barks when she’s ready to come in, so I ran for the back door to let her in. It was nighttime, and there was nobody else around. When I opened the backdoor I saw my dog standing at the bottom of the concrete steps, and she illuminated by what looked like a fog light from above. There isn’t a fog light there in the waking world, so I looked up to see where the light was coming from. To my surprise I saw a glowing sphere above the house and it was projecting a beam light down on my dog. It was directly above us, so I floated my feet upwards, and I rotated my body so I was in lying in a horizontal position looking up at the light. The light then began to move upwards and it drew me along. I slowly rose, mesmerized by light, and soon I could see the outline of the clouds against the starlit sky. Seeing the stars and the clouds so vividly made me excited and I returned the void, where I was once again consciously aware with my body was asleep.

I found myself in a false awaking, and I lost lucidity, because I really thought it was real. I could hear my wife in the kitchen talking to a friend. The house was a place where we use live back in the late 80’s. That should have been enough to tip me off that I was dreaming, but it didn’t ‘click in’. My wife came into the room and snuggled in with me for ‘sexy time’, but our bedroom door was open, and my wife’s friend peaked around the corner. At this point I became lucid, but I felt totally uncomfortable with the situation, so I didn’t engage the moment. Actually I haven’t done ‘sexy time’ while lucid since my mid-teens due to a bad lucid experience, but I definitely would like to try this with my wife when I don’t have an audience! Thank you very much! I slipped back into ‘the void’ (Nrem).

I entered another dream lucidly, and I found myself in some sort of empty warehouse. My mother in-law was standing there amongst many other dream figures (My dear mother in-law passed in 2001). Remembering my mantras to connect with my daughter (My daughter passed in 2013), I looked at mom and asked where my daughter was. As soon as I said it, she walked up beside me, to the right, and I said, “Daughter is that you?” because she looked different, and she said in her exact voice, “Yeah, it’s me!”, so I scooped her up into my arms. As I held her close she morphed into her true physical appearance. I told her I loved her, and I started to slowly bounce around the perimeter of the room, facing inward. While lucid, you can jump up and slowly float down, like you’re in low gravity, kind of like bouncing on the moon. Her feet were dangling in the air, and I asked her, “Hey daughter, how’s the food is in Heaven?” She replied, “Huh?”, so I repeated the question, “How’s the food in Heaven?” She happily said, “That’s the first thing people always ask me about heaven! Oh, dad.” We bounced past one of the windows, and I saw people standing on the sidewalk. My vision started to fade, so I focussed on my hand, but unfortunately everything went black. Darn…..

I remained perfectly still and I visualized myself back in the dream, and then I was, except I was now across the street in another warehouse! I lost lucidity again, and I was looking for a place to sleep, so I could get back to be with my daughter. A short and very wide woman walked up beside me wearing a hooded parka, and asked what I was doing, so I replied, “I need to find a place to sleep so I can lucid dream.” She pointed at a carpet on the floor and said, “How about there?”, and then she pointed at an old recliner on a pile of junk and said, “How about there?” Then she pointed at an old wooden chair and said, “How about there?” I became semi-lucid because I realized this is probably a dream, so I didn’t care about sleeping in a filthy place, so I opted to sleeping on the carpet. I laid down on the carpet and looked up at the obese hooded woman and said, “I’ll sleep here.” Just as I said that the woman morphed into my mother in-law. She was in her late 50’s.

I said to my mother in-law, “I love you!”, and she replied, “Oh, so now we know!”, as I watched her grow younger to be in her late 20’s, she was very beautiful! Then I said, “I really miss you.”, and she distractedly replied, “Oh, okay.”, as sunglasses materialized in her right hand and she tried to quickly put them on, but she accidently dropped them. Quickly, another set of sunglasses appeared in her hand and she fumbled to put them on. Two men appeared in the direction she was looking. One fellow was “clean cut’ and casually dressed, and the other fellow had long hair, a leather vest, and was covered in tattoos.

The ‘clean cut’ guy was holding a scalpel in his hands, and the tattooed man was holding a stainless jug containing some sort of chemical. Suddenly the ‘Clean cut’ guy raised the scalpel up and said, “We’re going to cut you eyelid open and pour kerosene in there.” Instantly and firmly I replied, “No, you’re not going to do that!” I quickly took the scalpel from him and I broke the blade off, and rubbed the broken shard against my eyelid and said, “Let’s get this straight, you want to cut my eyelid open, and pour kerosene under my skin. What possible benefit would that have for me? Is there any reason at all? What could that possibly do?” I was firm and direct and right in his face. My mother in-law said, “Yeah, what good could that possibly do?” I then noticed the ‘clean cut’ guy had scars in his eyelids. The tattooed guy then dropped the stainless, kerosene jug on the ground. It appears they both got fed-up with my defiance and walked away, so I quickly picked the jug up and chased after the tattooed guy.

I grabbed the tattooed guy by his shoulder and spun him around, and I said, “You forgot your kerosene. Why don’t you take this somewhere and start a fire!” He then looked very sad and insulted, and then feeling some remorse for what I said, I placed my hand on his shoulder and said, “It’s okay, I’m just joking, I appreciate you stopping by.” He turned and walked away without the kerosene, and then I slipped back into ‘the void’.

I was consciously awake, but with my body asleep, and I was reviewing the LD’s I just had. Should I wake myself up and voice record these lucid dreams, or risk having another lucid dream and forgetting what just happened? I decided to continue on. Then, very unexpectedly, I felt somebody hugging me during Nrem. This dream figure was very big and broad, and worse yet, it was a man! Yuck! So pushed him away and told him to leave. That freaked me out, but I kept my cool, and then I was false awakened by the ‘clean cut’ guy from the warehouse.

I jumped out of bed and stood face to face with the same guy from the warehouse. He was standing in my room and glowing slightly white. He held the scalpel up to my face and asked, “Why won’t you do this? Let me cut your eyelid and pour kerosene in there!” I was angrily replied, “Why would I do this? It makes no sense. Why don’t you come back to me after I’m dead, when I have more time to think about this? I’ll probably be dead in 20 years, and you can ask me then. No wait, I’ll find you, and then we can talk about this. ” He looked totally freaked out by what I said and he slowly backed up wide eyed. He then shot forward at me and made a real distorted face, and this caused me to go back into ‘the void’.

I remained perfectly still and I tried to return to the warehouse to find my daughter. Next thing I knew I was standing between the two warehouses and I was perfectly lucid. Then the ‘clean cut’ guy ran out of the warehouse were my mother in-law and I were chatting earlier, and disappeared around the corner of the other warehouse where I was hugging with my daughter. I floated up in the air vertically a couple of feet of the ground, and I took off after him. I had thoughts of doing a high speed tackle! When I rounded the corner, there were now men five men walking together. One of them was the ‘clean cut’ guy; one was the tattooed man, and the other three I didn’t recognize. I floated up behind them quietly, as they walked; and then one fellow turned around and faced me in total shock. I then went into praying lotus position, floated around them, and then faced them as I was travelling backwards, floating. My movements were surprisingly smooth and precise. One of the men, who I didn’t recognize, started smiling at me. I guess it must have looked pretty funny seeing somebody in praying lotus position hovering in front of them as they walked. Uncontrollably I started to smile back, and I really didn’t feel any anger towards the ‘clean cut’ or the tattooed man. Then my waking world alarm went off, and I woke. Darn, I wonder what would have happened next.
    6. Accidentally Destroying a Restaurant - Feb 10, 2015

      by , 02-13-2015 at 02:36 AM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream using visualization and hypnagogic imagery (consciously awake with body asleep).

I entered this dream lucid, and I was following a man and woman as we walked through glass doors into bright daylight. I said, “Hey, I’m lucid!” with total excitement! They both instantly turned inwards and looked at me, and then at each other, with a questioning look. I unfortunately woke, but I remained perfectly still and focussed on getting back in there.

I again entered a dream lucid, and found myself walking in a mall, surrounded by people. Right beside me was a couple, and they were both really tall and fit. I spoke what I was thinking, “Wow, are you ever tall! How tall are you?” The woman gave me a dumbfounded look and said, “I’m 6 foot 3.” I replied, “Holy smokes you’re tall, you must be good at sports!” She gave me one of these stereotypical looks and mumbled, “Whatever.”, and walked away. To my right was a restaurant lounge area full of people, so I decided to go in there and explore.

Standing alone in the restaurant was this dazed, sleepy looking woman in her early 20’s (very pretty). She seemed totalled spaced out, and I thought maybe she’s also a dreamer, so went up and put my hand on her shoulder and asked how she was doing. She slowly became focussed and said, “I’m doing fine.” I introduced myself and we started to ‘chit chat’ as we walked around the bar area. I forget what we were talking about, but it was everyday stuff. After about 3 or 4 minutes she started to look really tired and despondent, so I put my arm around her waist to hold her up, and I said, “Don’t fall asleep, please stay a bit longer!”, and she slurred, “I can’t help it.” A couple of dream figures came running up to me to ask what I was doing. I said, “She falling asleep and she needs to return to her bed.” I laid her down on the floor, and she quickly passed through the floor like she was laying in quicksand. When her body was half way through the floor, her clothes and body morphed into the appearance of ceramic tile (This was very cool).

My boss from work walked up to me and said, “Hi!”, and then my vision faded to black, but I could still hear everybody talking in the restaurant. I yelled, “I can’t see anything, keep talking to me until my vision comes back, please!” I chatted with my boss for about 30 seconds, and then everything came back with perfect clarity. By this point there was about a dozen dream figures standing around, and three of them were my childhood friends, Glen, Julian, and Bruce. I looked at them and said, “We’re dreaming right now!”, but nobody seemed to agree with me so I said, “Or maybe this is your reality?” Julian looked at me and said, “Sure, that’s it.”

We all stood around chatting for a bit, and then I said to Julian, “Lets bounce!” We jumped up and then slowly floated down, and every time we went higher and higher. The restaurant ceiling was at least 30 feet up, and Julian unexpectedly flew up about 20 feet and then came speeding down onto his butt causing a shock wave to go through the entire restaurant. We all found this really amusing, and we laughed real hard, so I decided to give it a try (show off my lucidity skills).

I decided to fly up real high, so I could get some speed when I was coming back down, but I was looking downward as I flew up, and then I accidentally hit the restaurant’s ceiling with my back. The entire restaurant ceiling bowed and distorted upwards into a dome, and then the walls caved inwards. People started to scream and shout, and all my friends took off running. I quickly decided to fly back down and blend into the crowd, but the ceiling was stuck to my back, and I stretched downward to within 10 feet of the floor. ‘All hell broke loose’ when the ceiling let go of my back and shot upwards! People were running around frantically, and the roof was coming down in pieces, with water was pouring everywhere! The bartender angrily shouted, “Who’s doing this, I can’t stand it!” The last thing I saw was water pouring down on top of the bartender, as he frantically tried to hold his counters in place. Then I woke up.
    7. Meditating While Lucid – I became Invisible!

      by , 12-05-2014 at 07:55 PM
This is my second time meditating while in a lucid dream. Something much unexpected happened! I became invisible! When I felt ‘the vibrations’ happening (while meditating in the lucid dream), I projected myself out of my lucid dream body then I was invisible. I then interacted with dream figures, while invisible, and they were totally confused, yet interested in what was going on. I’ll describe what happened.

I was attempting to do a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid dream). I got up in the middle of the night for about 45 minutes, studied lucid dreaming theory (30 minutes), and then looked at pictures of my daughter (15 minutes to incubate the dream). I then went to sleep. I was consciously awake, but my body was asleep. After about 1 hour I started to feel repeating, mild vibrations. I let my consciousness slip right to the edge of being unconscious, and then I leaped out of body and stood beside my bed. I was standing there all tangled in my blanket, and my CPAP mask was still on my face. It was all so real; I figured this must have been a failed attempt at an OBE, so I sat down on my bed. Then, without warning, I was sucked back into my body. Oh no, I blew it again, I was in an OBE and didn’t know it! I fell completely asleep at that point and then ended up in a DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream) a short time later. I’ll now describe the DILD.

In this lucid dream I appeared in my kitchen. My kitchen and dining area were exactly the same as in real life, except one problem, how did I suddenly appear here? I knew something was up, because I couldn't remember how I got there, so this is how I became lucid. I immediately called for my daughter, thanks to the dream incubation I did earlier, and a few seconds later she came running around the corner followed by my son. There were both about 3 years in age. I scooped up my daughter and gave her a huge hug and told her that I loved her. She smiled ear to ear, and then vanished. My dream started to fade, so I decide to side down in the dining area and meditate to see if this would help maintain lucidity. Here’s what happened next.

While lucid, I sat in the ‘classic lotus’ position on the floor, with my hands on top of my knees, and thumbs touching my middle fingers. Eyes closed. Within seconds I could feel my body slightly floating, and then this was followed by repeating, mild vibrations throughout my body. Please note, this happens all extremely fast while lucid. I then leaped up out of my lucid dream body and stood there looking down at me sitting in the ‘lotus position’. I looked like me, but just much younger. Hey, looking good! My sister then walked into the kitchen and saw me on the floor in ‘lotus position’, and then she continued into the kitchen and stood beside the island counter. I walked up to her, and asked how she was doing? She looked totally confused, and then she walked right into me, and stopped. I gave her a hug and told her I loved her. When I hugged her I realized I had no arms! They were invisible! I looked down at my body and realized that I was totally invisible! My sister started to freak out! I calmed her down by explaining how I became invisible. She seemed to understand, but had a look of disbelief. I picked up an empty milk jug off the counter and passed it to her while I was laughing. It looked like the milk jug was floating magically in the air. My sister then called for our mom, and my two other sisters to come and see what was going on. They were all confused by this, but seemed very interested in what was going on. I kept passing them stuff off the counter to hold. My oldest sister didn’t want to grab onto the measuring cup I was trying to give her, and she retracted her arms, shrugged her shoulders, and then moved back. My mom went and took a closer look at me sitting in ‘lotus position’ on the floor. The dream came to an abrupt end, without any warning, and I woke up.

I wonder what would have happened if I sat down and meditated in my invisible form, and then projected myself once again (double projection)? What’s beyond being invisible? Hmmmm, gotta try that next time!

    8. Dream Figure Summarizes my Lucidity as, “Interesting, an Epiphany!”

      by , 12-01-2014 at 03:12 AM
First off, before I describe the lucid dream, I had no idea what ‘epiphany’ meant (though I did remember hearing it before). This word is not in my vocabulary. I immediately Google ‘epiphany’ upon waking and this was what I found:

Epiphany: Ancient Greek word. Enlightening realization allows a situation to be understood from a new and deeper perspective.

As part of my lucid dreaming regime I always drink one or two glasses of water before I go to bed, so that I have to wake during the night (yes the P word). I use the ‘Wake Back to Bed’ method so I can be consciously aware during my REM cycle as my body sleeps. This need to pee entered into a dream prior to my waking. I was at a ‘fancy pants’ hotel standing the conference room lobby area with a bunch of people. I had to go real bad, so I found the closest washroom. This was a private washroom, with a lock mechanism ¾’s of the way up the door. I locked the door. The bathroom had a large window facing the sidewalk, and a skylight facing the multi-storey brown brick hotel. It was very high-end, and very clean. There was a toilet and sink. I found it really weird that there were large windows in a washroom. My first thought was that the windows were mirrored, so people couldn’t see in. Any which way, I wasn’t taking a chance, so I decided to sit on the toilet instead of standing. Have you ever tried to pee during a dream? Well, you can’t (most of the time).

All of a sudden, I hear a man asking me a question. Holy crap, there’s a man sitting to the right of me, on another toilet! He had brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing what looked like a Star Trek uniform. I said to him in a stern voice, “How did you get in here, I locked the door!” He jumped to his feet (I’m glad his pants weren’t down), he apologized, and then he walked towards the door to leave. I looked at the door, and realized the lock mechanism was gone for some reason. Well, this kind of stuff only happens in dreams. I instantly became lucid, and the clarity was perfect. DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). Actually the dream clarity was perfect, even before I became lucid. I then said to dream figure, “Wait, stay! I’m aware!” He stopped and looked at me slightly surprised. He turned again to leave, and in a pleading voice I said, “No, wait, please stay, I’m aware! I want to talk to you!” He turned around and faced me, and his eyes momentarily went dark, and then they returned to brown. I was careful not to say I’m dreaming, or lucid, because that seems to mess with dream figures. He then sat on the toilet with his right leg over his left. His right elbow was on his right knee, and his right hand was up by his chin. He had this perplexed look, and then he said, “Interesting, an epiphany!” Then he asked me if I knew what epiphany meant, and I replied, "No, but I can look that up." I instantly woke, Googled ‘Epiphany’, and then recorded the experience in my dream journal. I didn’t want to wait until the morning to do this, because I would have forgotten 'epiphany' by then, since I never use it.

    9. A Little Noodles Please

      by , 11-27-2014 at 08:30 PM
I had a semi-lucid dream about flying in a hot air balloon, and woke up after the dream had ended. It was around 4 Am and I decided to do a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). My body was asleep, yet my mind was conscious, waiting for the dream to start.

As I was lying in bed, I could feel my dream body floating slightly in my bed. It was kind of like hovering in and about where my body should have been, but it was not connected too well. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, I felt somebody pulling on my calf! I opened my dream eyes, and quickly looked down to see who was pulling on my calf, and I saw my daughter standing there! She was glowing faintly white, and was wearing light blue clothes. She quickly ran into the closet and hid. I jumped out of bed, leaving my body behind, and ran to the closet and reached in. I could feel arms everywhere. There were a couple of (or maybe three) dream figures in there! I heard some giggling and laughing. I realized I was only wearing my gitch. I thought I needed to get some clothes on quickly, so as not be half naked in front of these wonderful dream figures, and then I was suddenly wearing my housecoat. It just magically appeared. My daughter jumped out of the closet, and we walked out of my bedroom. I told my daughter, I love her and I miss her, and she said, “I know.” We both started to cry.

We walked down the hallway, and then we headed down the stairs. To my surprise there was a fancy restaurant where the foyer should have been. The restaurant had scattered groups of people, sitting around and chatting. It was split into two areas by a stand-up bar, the lounge area, and the dinner area. The walls were covered with satin brown panelling, and floor was white ceramic tile. It was like a shrimp and steak house! I asked my daughter to hold my hand so I could stay focussed, and not lose my lucidity. She did, and we walked past the lounge area into the restaurant. We then turned around and headed back to the lounge area. I asked her about lucid dreaming, what it meant, and she turned her back to me and didn’t want to discuss it. Fair enough, so we walked back over to the lounge area. I thought maybe we could grab a couple of drinks and some food, then sit down and have a conversation. I asked the lady at the counter for a coffee and Baileys. As I was waiting, I started to sing, “You know an OBE, yeah you know me, you know an OBE, yeah you know me.” I sang this to remind me that I was dreaming, so I wouldn’t forget, and slip into a mindless state. The lady at the counter was taking soooo long. I was wasting valuable lucid dream time waiting for coffee. Never again will that happen!

The table of people beside me noticed my OBE song. One dream figure said, “What did he say?”, and the other replied, “I think he said OBE?” Then they started to whisper back and forth. I looked at my daughter who was now sitting with 3 of her friends at a table, and they kept turning their heads to look at me. My niece came walking by and was making a commotion. I asked the lady at the counter again for a coffee, and she put a bag of chocolates in front of my face and said, “Here!” I thought, oh whatever, I’ll take the chocolates. I looked down and reached into my pocket to find some money to pay her. Holy smokes, I was no longer in my housecoat. I was now wearing yellow shorts and a T-shirt. How did that happen? I fumbled through my pockets to try and find some money, but there was none. As I reached to grab the bag of chocolates a toonie fell from my wrist, hit the floor, and then rolled against the counter. The restaurant went silent. I turned and asked my daughter to come over and here so we can order her some food. She quickly came over, and I asked her what she would like. She said, “A little noodles please.” She had her head down, and she looked like something had gone wrong. I thought oh crap, so much for blending in and being inconspicuous. My daughter looked up, and past me, like there was somebody standing behind me, and then I instantly woke from the dream.
    10. Meditating while Lucid – First Time Ever(for me)!

      by , 11-25-2014 at 07:31 PM
This was very cool! I’m excited! I often meditate (waking world), but I decided to give it a try last night during a lucid dream. It was very cool, and I can’t wait to try it again. Here’s what happened.

I entered a dream lucid using WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). It was one of many attempts last night that just ended up being a dark and poor clarity LD (Lucid Dream). I decided to do something different in order to improve clarity, and that was meditation. As I mentioned, this is the first time I’ve tried this during a dream. I was in a dimly lit kitchen, near the inside corner of a countertop. I slide down the cupboards with my back to the corner, and then I sat on the ground in the classic ‘praying lotus position.’ When I meditate, I usually do this lying down, and I have no idea why I went into the praying lotus position.

Here’s where things started to go indescribable. I quickly went from tensed to relaxed state, calming my mind, literally within seconds (unusually takes me 10 to 15 mins), then I went into the hypnogogic state, again seconds later, where I was seeing flashings of brilliant green light patterns, electricity/lightening, and flashes. Then I could feel myself falling, and slowly spiralling counter clockwise. Suddenly, my entire tarsal started to vibrate violently radiating out to my limbs. I was thinking, this is very similar to what happens at night between dreams, except I’m falling and spiralling at the same time, all while in the praying lotus position! It was all I could do to stay calm. The vibrations stopped, and I found myself back in my bed, lying on my left side, exactly where I had gone to sleep. One problem, my legs and arms were still in praying lotus position. I know this wasn’t possible while lying on my side. My dream arms and legs weren’t in my body! Paramedics! I stayed in praying lotus position for about 5 minutes while trying to convince myself to stand up into an OBE. No luck. I then decided to wiggle my hands and feet and see what would happen. My arms and legs then moved automatically back in alignment with my body in lying position. I opened my eyes and did a reality check to see if I was still dreaming. Nope, I was now awake. I’m going to try this again very soon.
    11. The Way You Make Me Feel – Michael Jackson

      by , 11-01-2014 at 04:15 PM
I used the WILD dream technique this morning, and ended up at a family gathering in a kitchen. I was asking who everybody was and hugging them. Everybody seemed so young, and it was difficult to figure out who was who. I said, “Where’s Daughter?”, and then I found her in the living room. She was much younger, maybe 7 years old. We started dancing in the living room without music. Daughter and I then transitioned into this very cool lucid dream.

We instantly appeared inside a rusty metal framed greenhouse with a concrete floor. The greenhouse was completely underwater, except for the glass roof panels that had waves washing across the top. The sun was shining through the waves casting reflections throughout the room. Suddenly Michael Jackson crashed through one of the glass roof panels in a wall of water, perfectly landing on the ground in a kneeling position, head tilted forward holding his cap, and then he did his trademark, “Whoohoo!” Water washed across the concrete floor. His hit ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ starts playing, and then he moon walks off to the side, and starts singing his song. I tried to moon walk too, but I couldn’t do it, so I did some other ‘old man’ moves. Guess I gotta work on that – lol, for the next dream. Daughter and I started to dance to the music as Michael played. At one point I held my hand up and Daughter did a pirouette. As the song was nearing the end, my daughter started to run around totally excited, as she was talking nonsense like any 7 year old would. Daughter then began to shrink in size to about the size of a cat, and she ran off while 5 people started to chase her. I became furious, and I threatened them in an effort to get them to stop chasing her. Two of them instantly stopped and backed off. The other 3 remained in pursuit. I was about to draw my magical sword, given to me by a DC in a previous LD, but I became too angry, and woke up. I’m glad I woke up, because a perfectly good lucid dream was about to become a disaster. I find I jump to assumptions and conclusions way too quickly when I’m lucid. I need to work on this. Aside from the ending, I really had fun in this lucid dream!

    12. Fireball Explosion!

      by , 10-17-2014 at 06:21 PM
Last night I decided to get up at 3:00 Am and try the WILD technique. I usually practice this technique once or twice per week. I started off lying in bed on my back, and then my right side, and left, then again on my back, and then on my right side again. This went on for about an hour and half, staying in one position for as long as I could stand it. No dreams forming, just random images. Suddenly, and instantly, there’s a full screen dream right in front of me! I’m at a campsite and there’s a big pile of wood in the fire pit. To enter the dream, I decided to raise my right hand with a burning match to light the fire. I could see my hand holding the burning match. I moved towards the fire pit, stepped into the dream, and then threw the match at the pile of wood. Bad idea, there was a massive fireball explosion, which threw me backwards right out of the dream (shortest lucid dream ever)! My body straightened right out, legs kicking, and then I rammed my big toe into my bed’s footboard. My toe still hurts. BTW, in my waking life, I usually throw a gallon of gas on a campfire to light it.
    13. 6 Lucid Dreams Last Night

      by , 10-14-2014 at 06:58 PM
WILD technique to start dream 1.

10 Foot Tall Man in a Parking Lot
I saw a 10 foot man walking at a shopping mall parking lot. I floated over to him, looked him in the eyes, and asked who he was. His faced suddenly turned all black and wrinkled, with no facial features, then it turned back to normal. He didn't say anything back. He looked friendly enough, but he wasn't very chatty, so I floated back to the ground and walked away.

Vibrations happened here between dreams 1 and 2.

      Visit with my Daughter
I was in a room, asking for my Daughter come. A girl walked in the room, I asked her name, and she said Clara (not my daughter). She left. Another girl came in the room, I asked her name, and she said Sara (not my daughter). A third girl came in the room, I asked her name, and she said Tara (not my daughter). Finally my daughter appeared in the room sitting on a staircase. I ran over to her to ask how's she doing? She looked sad, and said, "Why did you do that in your last dream?" I had now idea what she was talking about. I wanted to scoop her up and hug her. I woke up.

      Jumping from a Bridge
I was in a large city walking a across a massive bridge. These kids were looking over the bridge railing and screaming. They were very upset because somebody had capsized their kayak and were drowning. The bridge was several hundred feet above the water, and the currents were fast and vicious. I looked over the edge, but I couldn't see anything. I said I will go and take a look. I stood up on the railing and then leapt. For a fleeting second I questioned my lucidity, because I wasn't flying yet. Just before I hit the water, I started to fly. I flew around the river, looking everywhere, but I still didn't see anything. I flew back up onto the bridge and told the kids there's nobody down there. I then asked the kids to all join hands, and we'll go flying together. One of the kids said, "Like Mary Poppins?", and I said, "Yes!". We joined hands and flew away. I woke up.

      Flying Down a Beach
I was flying down a tropical beach. I wanted to cool off in waves, so I landed. I walked out into the surf, getting splashed by waist high waves. I could see the grains of sand washing out with each wave. The water was cool and refreshing. I leaned over and scooped up the sand. I felt the grains of sand in my hands. Clarity improved. I then flew off further down the beach to a building and then walked in.

      Biting Dog with Red Eyes
I was holding this beautiful little dog, petting it, as I walked down a sidewalk. We walked past this big black dog with glowing red eyes. It was tied to a railing at someone’s front step. I put the little dog down and floated up to the big bad dog. I picked it up and hugged it, hoping it would not turn this into a nightmare. The hug caused it's eyes to stop glowing red. I put it back on the ground then petted it a few times. As I walked away, it leapt at me and bit onto my arm. The little bugger! It hurt a bit, but I ignored the pain, and continued to walk down the street. I didn’t want this dream to end. The dog hung from my arm for a short while, and eventually vanished.

Rubbing Lag Bolts to Improve Lucidity
I was standing beside a building, and my lucidity was fading fast. I looked around for something to rub in my hands. I saw these 3/8" lag bolts on the ground. I picked up one in each hand, and then rubbed them. The sharp edges of the threads made me very lucid. I dropped the bolts, then walked off to explore.

    14. An Alligator with a Liking for Beaver Tail

      by , 10-04-2014 at 11:37 PM
I incubated this dream, and used the WILD technique to get there, so I was lucid for the entire experience. I emerge into the dream standing in a Mexican style concrete cabana, at an azure blue ocean delta. The sand was white; the sky was blue, and no clouds. I could see the heat radiating off the sand, distorting the scenery in the distance. It was so hot, and the air was thick with the smell of salt. The cabana was right on the edge of one of the delta’s rivers. I immediately thought I should try some fishing. My rod and tackle magically appeared out of nowhere. This gear was heavy duty and perfect for catching a huge fish. I look for bait, but all I found was a beaver tail. It was sitting on the concrete floor, in the cabana, off to the side. I picked up the tail and baited the hook. I was going to cast the bait into the river beside the cabana, but decided not to, because the water was too shallow, and I couldn’t see any fish swimming. I decided to head out across the delta to look for a more suitable fishing spot. As I walked I could feel the sand grains against my feet. There was no vegetation anywhere. Just rivers and sand bars. After a short walk, I found the perfect spot, a deep river which faded from pale blue at the edge to dark blue in the middle. There must be fish here! I cast my rod downstream at a 45 degree angle from shore, and waited, for a huge fish to bite onto the beaver tail. Suddenly, there's a huge bite, and my rod bends right over! I pulled back on the rod hard. Then the line went loose. Was the fish gone? I then thought, this would really suck if an alligator had taken the beaver tail (being lucid I shouldn’t of thought about an alligator being there). Oh no, there’s a 12 foot alligator on the line and he’s swimming fully speed at me. He hit the shore running, and there was nowhere to go. Was I scared? Heck no, I was lucid! I ran right at the alligator, wrapped my arms around its thick scaly chest, and then picked him up. His long tail was lying bent across the beach. I then hugged him passionately. I’ve made a very conscious effort never to hurt anything in my lucid dreams. The alligator then turned into a beautiful woman. Her head was over my shoulder, so I have no idea who she was. I just held her close in my arms, and thought, maybe she’s someone I love. I few seconds later I woke up.
