    My Official Journey Into Lucid Dreaming

    Of course I'm awake, how silly

    by , 08-01-2010 at 05:15 PM (889 Views)
    Went to bed very late, and very tired. Did a lot of RCs during the day...

    I'm dreaming, but not lucid. I think to myself, this isn't a dream, of course, but I'll do an RC anyway. Of course I'll find that it's not a dream. I look at my hands. Whoops! This doesn't look right! I must be dreaming!

    Can't remember anything after that....bummer. Not sure if I'm going to count this as an LD.

    Conditions:
    2400 mg of Omega03&6 Fish Oil (BB)
    1000 mg Vitamin B6 (BB)
    Checked hands (DD)
    Played on DV forum (DD)
    Alarm at 90 minute intervals
    Fell asleep: 2:30am
    WBTB: Several times.

    ---------------------
    JBB=Just before bed after 9pm
    AB= At bedtime 11:30pm
    BB=Before Bedtime after 5pm
    DD=During the day between wake and 5pm

      What do you mean with conditions and all those vitamins? Do you take those after going to bed? why? I always LD without eating stuff (other than my dinner )

      It was indeed a lucid dream, but you probably woke up after realized you were lucid.

      Hey PercyLucid!

      By conditions, I mean what conditions I tried to achieve an LD. I'm trying to track what I do, so when I hit the right "formula", and start to have lots of LDs (hopefully), I'll know what works and what doesn't. So far, I'm not convinced any of it makes a difference. The only effective tools I have found are checking my hands several times a day, and listening to my Sleep in 30 minutes isochronic tones to knock me out.

      Yes. The hand check is the most reliable one. I like nose pinch and gravity test as well.

      Those are the only ones I use. Those tons freak me out, never heard them but I do not feel comfortable bombarding my brain with artificial waves. My i-pod has a set of tons, but I never felt like hearing them. I get at least 1 lucid every 2-3 days and/or 6-10 a month so for now I won't use them.
