    Mountain Side Fishing, Short OBE, Blankets

    These are mostly rubbish but hey I get some points and A for effort!

    #346-348 - DILD/DEILD/WILD - Times Vary

    Mountain Side Fishing
    I'm walking a mountain path with my wife. The area looks a lot like Skyrim. Some rough looking seafaring types are on the edge of a cliff fishing. They talk about the real fishing being in another spot but the mountainous terrain makes it too difficult. It doesn't look so bad so to me so I start climbing. The area is too dream-like and I become lucid.

    I tell myself I'll keep climbing but if I can't do it I'll just fly over there. I think I should fly anyway but as I let go to float up and the dream ends.

    Short OBE

    I DEILD and have vibrations. After a moment I get up but I bright white light engulfs me and throws me back to bed. The shock of it wakes me.

    Blanket

    I WILD and get out of bed quickly. I only take a few steps and fall to FA. But I quickly realize it's all fake because this is my old house. Rather than continue from there I restart the WILD in dream.

    I get out of bed on the wrong side but I don't let it bother me. The blankets are stuck to me like a massive sludge of thick glue. I try to wipe it off but it keeps reattaching itself. I try to just walk away and ignore it but it's very tenacious.

    I decide to give in a moment and lay on the bed sideways. My wife seems to have vanished. I think about the first of the three step tasks, Change gravity. I focus on the wall next to me imagining gravity shifting there but I quickly wake up.

    Or so I thought. My wife keeps pulling on my arm as I am trying to DJ. I get only the first sentence in before I begin dropping my device. I can't see to keep a hold of it and my wife is starting to piss me off. I finally wake up for real.

      My wife is always messing with me and my dream journal...both in FA's and IWL! Congrats on bagging 3!

      That's awesome, man--three in one night! My wife often appears in my FA's as well, and usually is telling me to get out of bed or stop being so loud! Usually it's so real that I never question the FA at all.

      Why did you choose to restart the WILD, if I might ask? Awesome work!

      Haha Im glad its not just me guys. My DC wife gets really annoying sometimes. I wonder what that means.

      I restarted the WILD out of confusion. Part of me realized it was fake but part of me thought I had really woke up. I guess I was semi lucid and unsure in that part since I had woke up so many times that night.

      I don't know about you, but my wife doesn't support me "messing with dreams." Oh well...

      My wife is fine with dreams (in fact we share dreams most evenings after work, or mornings before) but she always rolls her eyes if I have a sex dream

      We are working on getting her to have more LDs. She has had one before, but has up until now not been able to induce another. I may try to get her to take the intro or DILD class.



      I will have to make another handle . . . .

      I wish my wife would get into it. Her exact words "I dont want to do work when Im asleep." Tsk lazy.

      I wish I could get Wife more into dreams! She just thinks it's pointless! I think she'd feel differently if she had just one really vivid lucid...

      If we could somehow *force* a luicd dream on anyone we chose they would be hooked for life! I really don't know why very few people are interested in this subject. It's really sad!

      I agree with you, man. I think that some things are just difficult to understand until you've seen them for yourself!

      You know, my wife actually had a little micro-lucid a while back and told me about it. I was really excited! I think it was too short to get her really hooked though.

      But you never know! There's always hope, yeah?

      Wow, I suddenly feel really lucky to live with a dreamer! I taught him to LD soon after we met, and we later moved in together.

      I've also been lucky that every partner I've had since I learnt to induce LDs in 2007 has been totally keen to learn!

      I don't know how I'd survive if I didn't have someone to enthuse about dreams with at any time of day, haha.
      I guess that's what DV is for! Salvation for the men with muggle wives.
