    I've been trying to lucid dream for 7 weeks and so far no results. my main problem is being unable to realize I'm dreaming however before I discovered lucid dreaming I used to realize I was dreaming every night by accident.I tried doing reality checks a few times every day, but after about 3 weeks of that not working I gave up on it. I've also tried for about 4 weeks repeating to myself I'll have a lucid dream but It won't work, I did come close to one though when I decided to take a nap in the afternoon, I realized I was dreaming and forgot for some reason. please help me with my lucid dream deficiency!:(

      Just make it a habit of thinking/reading/talking about lucid dreams. Write "reality check" on your hand. Keep a dream journal, use WBTB.

      Try reading about lucid dreaming right before bed. Also drinking warm milk and honey before bed, supposedly helps as well with dream recall. c;

      Read about dreaming as much as possible. Most importantly, keep it on your mind.

      Best of luck to good sir.

      Yep Yep, I agree with Seroquel. Immerse yourself in the subject as much as possible. RC every chance you get, every time you think about dreaming, every time something seems strange or off. Do multiple RC's, count fingers, hold nose, try to float, flip switches. In case one fails, the others will trip. I usually do counting fingers and holding nose whenever I think of it. Don't think that mnemonic stuff is BS, it's not. While it may feel pretty stupid to tell yourself you're going to have an LD, it gets the idea into your Subconscious, and that's where it needs to be. Good luck

      EDIT: Just realized I forgot something. Don't be discouraged if you are having trouble with wbtb, or wild, that shit's hard. You'll more likely randomly dild first, and that's good. Your first will be short, and you'll wake up quickly, and will probably be too excited to do it again for a couple of hours if not days. Don't worry about it, everyone's first is like that, just keep that in mind, and try to stay calm when you realize you're dreaming. I know it's hard, but that's what makes all this challenging. The more you get used to it, the more control and stability you'll have. I think I'll leave it at that, if I write any more, I'll have to contact a publishing house for a book
      Best of luck indeed.
