    1. I Had My Second Lucid!!

Woohoo! I finally had another lucid dream! I'm so happy, I can barely sit still to type this!

      Dream 1:

I was sitting down on a rug in my old kindergarten classroom, talking to a boy I used to go to elementary school with, named Rhys. I don't recall what were were talking about, besides school and childhood. A while into our conversation, I noticed he looked sad, so I asked him, "Rhys, you look sad. What's wrong?" He looked at me, with the saddest look I have ever seen on his face, and replied, "You're dreaming." This shocked me quite a bit, and as soon as he said this, my dream began slipping away.
After that, I stood up, telling my dream self over and over, "You're dreaming. You're dreaming". I was desperately trying to stay calm and in the dream. Sadly, seconds later I had woken up. It hadn't even sharpened into the clarity or reality that my first lucid had before I was opening my eyes to a darkened ceiling.

Has anyone else ever had a DC tell them they're dreaming? I found it really odd, but exciting.

      Dream 2:

I dreamt that my mom introduced me to a young man from Britan, who was in his twenties or thirties, and we were watching some children and young adults, including my younger siblings, dive into the ocean at night from a cliff. I warned them to be careful, but he didn't seem that worried. He encouraged my brother to jump. He said his name was Thomas. It was dark and pouring rain.
Later, we were in my backyard, which looked strange and not quite like my backyard, and he was playing with a round red object he'd found on a tree. He re-introduced himself as Josh. He accidentally dropped the small red sphere, however, and it rolled into a large hole that went under my concrete porch. As soon as this happened, tree roots began to push up through the concrete. My godmother warned us to get out and stay away. We tried to use rakes and tools to pull the seed back out from underneath the porch, but to no avail.
Amidst this chaos, an annoying talking Tomato Hornworm Caterpillar named Harvey came over, and apparently we were well aquatinted. He and I had agreed that he would be gentle with my tomato plants and be able to eat all the basil he wanted without killing the plant. He asked us what was going on, and when I explained, busy trying to pry out the seed, he laughed and crawled off, saying he was going to eat every last tomato plant in my garden.
Somehow we either got the tree under control, or left it to destroy my porch. I'm not sure which. We got into Thomas/Josh's car and drove back to a large store that sold clothing and other things, like water bottles and sports gear. My siblings and my aunt and uncle were there, and we had fun looking around.
I wondered if Thomas/Josh could have been a relative of mine on my dad's side, but I didn't think any of my relatives still lived in Britain, so I didn't ask. He and my brother were trying to find a nice souvenir he could take home with him.

      Dream 3:

I dreamt that three people I know from school, Shawnee, Julie, another whom I cannot remember, and I, went to the movie theater. We had to climb over a lot of people to get to our seats, and when we got there, I was shocked to find that they had all turned into my friend Isabella's little cousins.

    2. I think I lucid dreamed for the first time?!?!?

I haven't been posting to my dream journal lately because I've been so busy and stressed out, but I'm going to try to resume. As a result of the craziness of the last month or so, I also stopped trying to lucid dream, but I did think about it often and perform a few reality checks. I had no time to, and I'd also given up on the technique I'd been trying, because every guided meditation I used either was nice but wouldn't put me to sleep, or put me to sleep and did nothing but cause more vivid dreams. Nothing close to lucidity. I'd begun to think I'd never achieve lucidity and maybe there was something wrong with me or I wasn't doing the meditations right. Anyways, I had a dream last night that I believe might have been a lucid dream.

I was at a school, walking around during after school hours when most of the teachers had already left. I wandered into a classroom where my brother's kindergarten teacher was grading papers at one of the students' desks. I walked over to her desk and looked at a paper, which had a list of names on it in a few colors. I have forgotten what they were, but I could read them clearly, and said to myself, "if I was dreaming, could I read this? I thought you couldn't read in dreams."
I decided I'd look away and see if the words changed, because I knew that they do that in dreams. I looked over at the teacher, who was still grading papers, and then looked back at the paper on the desk, and surprisingly, the words had changed.
At this point I said to myself calmly, "I'm dreaming."
Suddenly everything became very real and clear, and it felt like I truly was standing in that classroom. It was mind blowing. I was struggling not to get excited, so I rubbed my hands together, which I've heard helps, and stabilized the dream somewhat.
Then, I attempted to fly, which was probably not a good thing to attempt during my very first lucid dream. I had not expected to lucid dream last night nor had I figured out what I'd do if I achived lucidity, so I did the first thing that popped into my mind. I imagined myself as being lighter than air, and then stood on my tiptoes, lifting one leg up and pushing off the ground gently with the other. I floated up into the air slowly, and at this point I became so excited I either woke up or the dream ended, I can't remember which.

Was this a lucid dream? I'm just not sure.
