    5/8/10 - Mom, the Maid
    Dream Non-dream Lucid

A little background... my mom is constantly cleaning the house, but as she does she often tells us, "I am NOT your maid!" because she thinks we should be the ones cleaning it. Well, we kinda should, but whatever.

I was in my house, getting ready for school after what seemed to be a long break. I was up about three hours earlier than usual, though, as were my mom and brother. I don't know what'd happened to my Dad, but he wasn't home.
My mom had woken us up early to clean the house. She was running around cleaning up anything possible. My brother, Will, went into the kitchen to get some breakfast, and I sat in the living room and listened to my iPod Touch. I believe the song was "Flawz" by Caitlin Crosby. When the song was over, I turned off the iTouch and started wandering the house. I went into what should be my parents' bathroom, but in the dream was my mom's office. Her desk was covered in papers and there were about three bowls of half-eaten cereal there aswell. I found it normal and went upstairs to my room. Oh, crap... I saw that my mom had cleaned my room already, and left an unfinished homework assignment lying on the floor. If she saw it she'd flip, so I hid it under a pile of books and was about to dump them in my bag when my mom walked in. "Oh, hey," I said nervously. "I was just packing up for school." She glared at me. Ooh, she creeped me out. I slipped the books into my bag and zipped it up before settling down on top of my bed.
"So," she said, standing in front of me with her hands on her hips, "what'd you do with Macy's bag of candy?" I felt choked, like I couldn't speak. "You threw it away, didn't you?" I shook my head and said, "I gave it to her."

Somehow I woke up between her asking me a question and my answering. Has that ever happened to you? A DC asks you a question and you answer when you wake up? It was a weird feeling.
