      That would be awesome! But the song needs to be long enough though, because it takes a little bit (at least for me) to enter sp. And it needs to be relaxing enough so you are actually able to fall asleep with it but on the same time keep you a little bit aware (sounds hard to make ^^)
      Maybe mix some white noise and such things in it

      is it completely impossible or just really hard to wild before bed? 2 nights ago i got 3 hours of sleep, and stayed up untill 2 last night(morning). i was just watching vids and listening to music (not yet tired for some reason), and eventually my eyes were stinging from exhaustion. i got really relaxed and comfortable, and it felt like i had been in bed for hours (well i was, but that feeling that makes you not want to get up in the morning) my mind started wandering of its own accord, and i had a vivid daydream/dream. it was strange i wasnt really unconcious yet it was a non lucid dream, and i snapped back for a second and i hallucinated a glow in the dark calender with wierd symbols on my wall. i maybe could have tried wild here but i thought it was impossible so just went to sleep for good.

      That's exactly what I get when I'm really tired. It is possible to WILD before sleeping but most people just don't do it because it's really hard, the dream's crap quality and you can just do it during a WBTB anyway.

      My recall is getting better and my sleep cycle is adjusting so I should be able to start attempting WILDs again soon

      My plan for this week is to get my recall to my normal amount again and then attempt Wild. I think the hard training lately really helped because I have a much better understanding on how my sleep works now. I know that the next succesfull attempt awaits

      I just got up from a wild attempt, I got closer than I have been so I think I broke my "dry spell".
      I almost instantly got some numbness and after a while I felt pressure and disorientation coming
      on. ( Stage 2 ) then I started spinning, I got further pressure ( Stage 3 ) and felt so close to sp.
      But I'm not quite sure how to get into that transition. I'll have to work on that for next time.

      I'm going to take a long nap now and try a Wild. I'll set an alarm after about 1 hour of the nap to try another Wild then. It will work this time for sure (Having a positive attitude makes your success chance higher ) !!!

      Edit: That was a strange nap. When I went to bed I immediately fell asleep and didn't even notice my alarm O.o

      bought 12,24 alarm clock app (first one ive seen with autosnooze). hopefully ill get some deild/fild and then move on to wild with it. eventually id like to get better at autosuggestion so i dont need it but for now im just craving lucids.

      yeah If there is a way to make it vibrate then do that because I find that when I set my cellphone to vibrate, I have have a second sudden burst of awareness and I think to my self "Ok don't move or open your eyes."

      I've read that apple juice makes your dreams more vivid a while ago and yesterday I tried it. I drank the whole day only apple juice (100% apple) and well....it was AMAZING.
      I had 3 ultra vivid and long semi-lucids and when I woke up I thought I had overslept my alarm because it felt like I was asleep a whole day. When I looked at my watch I saw that I have only slept like 3 hours. I'm definetly gonna try that again.

      Are you sure it wasn't placebo? It would be awesome if it wasn't!

      And last night I felt close to SP. I was at that stage where you're kinda half asleep and totally numb/arms and legs feel like they're in different positions and thought it would be any minute and I felt a kinda sucking in my head and eyes but... it just went away I dunno why.

      Raspberry yeah I'm pretty sure it wasn't placebo They say it's something in the apple that causes vivid dreams and when I tried it a while ago it worked also.
      And for your sp thingy, I think it went away because you got too excited and you woke up too much. I have that often, too.

      Any other suggestions on how to get into SP? I only get numbness in my hands and maybe a spinning feeling but never any HI.

      iFatal, honestly I never had HI in any sp EVER. I only get the auditory hallucinations, numbness and spinning feeling. Sometimes maybe the evil presence feeling and so but never any images. Maybe you don't get them because you are looking for them and this hinders you from getting further into sp. By the way, are you trying to get into sp after a wbtb or before sleep ? Because when you try to Wild after a wbtb sp is harder to get (some people prefer that because they can Wild without getting into sp) and maybe that's your problem. Anyway, just don't try to force sp, let it come naturally or your mind will never allow you to get into sp

      Yes I try with a WBTB and I am not looking for SP I just let my mind wander but usually my problem is that my attention jumps to SP when something weird happens like my hands numbing.

      I'm going to try something like billybobs technique pain as an anchor so I don't fall asleep.

      I tried using the pain anchor, but it doesn't work for me because I have a high pain threshold. Whenever I bend into an awkward position, I just numb down.

      As for audio HI, so far I've heard scratches, beating and string music. Nothing scary, like whispering in my ears or demon laughter etc. Sometimes when I'm first going to sleep, when I'm just about asleep, I see a flash of light and know I'm about dreaming. But I can never transition!

      And I might try to apple juice thingy, my recall's still dry. Haven't had a lucid dream since last month sometime... I'm craving them!

      The billybobs technique is very nice. I had success with it one time (not pain as an anchor but white noise). Maybe it is important for a Wild to let your mind wander so you don't even notice sp and then have your anchor ready to immediately jump into a dream. Well I'm gonna try that tonight and much more because I've got no school for 1 week now

      I think an anchor is just used so you don't fall asleep. You let your mind wander but you don't let it wonder to the point where you fall asleep. This is a problem I usually have.

      Uhh I also had a FA this morning. I woke up to my iPad that was vibrating!? I just shut it off when then I woke up again and thought to myself that iPads don't vibrate...

      Because it is a weekend, i'm going to try to wild in the morning.
