At least you are making good progress siuol
Maybe you could try to implement some RC's so when your dream looks realistic, you do a RC to be absolute sure.

I did nothing last night because I'm ill -.-
Well at least I had a vivid dream.

Edit: Whoa almost forgot it. I had a short lucid but woke up immediately when I tried to change location. This means I have a 2 night ld streak now yay

nothing really new with me I'm only trying to wild when I wake up and feel like it's a good time to try and wild. I'm kinda doing DILD and DEILD I wake up from a vivid dream then use auto-suggestion and say to myself that the next time I go back into that dream I will become lucid and then almost instantly when the dream is done forming, I become lucid.

Had a bad night with no dreams at all (Heck, I haven't even slept for more than 1 hour -.-).
For me I think when I go to bed first without pre sleep is the best wild time. Everybody says it's much harder but for me I can only get into sp when I do it this way.
    5. siuol's Avatar
      iFatal is that MILD maybe?

Katsuno too bad about the lack of sleep :-/. That actually seems to be the best time for me too. It seems that I get closer before sleep than afterwards. Are you the type that falls asleep easily?

I'm also doing MILD. My dreams seem to be getting more vivid, but they're so fast recently it's hard to remember them.

Though for the next few days I won't be able to WBTB 'cause I'm traveling and having to share rooms. I doubt I'll have internet either, so I probably won't post again until sunday or monday. Just a heads up guys

Oh, and adding to what siuol asked, I looked back and Refrain hasn't posted in almost a month...

Raspberry yeah I fall asleep almost too fast ;D
Normally I have trouble falling asleep but since I started meditating it's very easy for me to clear my mind and fall asleep.
Since last month I fall asleep even faster because of new medication I took since then (I've got ADD so I have to take them). They make me very sleepy but that's not necessarily a negative effect
Well and for Refrain, maybe we should send him a PM and if he doesn't answer we can decide further steps...

Ooh, has it been affecting your WILDing much? I heard kinda mixed views on meditating for WILD. Some people think that it's no good since you need to focus on something, others say it's good because it can actually be used as something to focus on. I was gonna start but decided to just leave it. If it helps you though I think I'll give it a shot

Yeah :/ maybe iFatal should do it since he created the group and changes stuff up. I just think that other people may want to join, and if he doesn't want to contribute anymore (which I won't hold against him if he doesn't want to) then we should open the spot up.

Hehe, of course everybody says different things for meditation (especially for wild) because everybody is different. For some people meditation might not work with their method but for me, it helps alot. Not only with wilding but with many other things in the daily life. I'm much calmer now and can focus on things much longer ( which is very difficult with ADD ). Meditation also can be used to release stress from the daily life. My opinion is: Meditation has no negative effects

hey i was reading a thread, and something made me think about something. in wild attempts, would moving our eyes fast help get us into sleep? if we do it it might trick our body into thinking it is REM. also i havent tried it yet but if i do it when awake it feels wierd and almost like a sensation ive felt with fild, maybe it was me feeling my eyes moving? ill try to test it out but if anyone else can and give thier results it would be cool.
    11. Katsuno's Avatar
Yeah I've read it some time ago but never tried it because I thought it would just make me more awake. Gonna test it tonight and post my results then.
    12. siuol's Avatar
hope i get lucid tonight found out about lding exactly 1 year ago today
    13. Katsuno's Avatar
      Good Luck siuol!

I tried the thing with moving your eyes and I felt strange for about 10 seconds but then it was too hard to move my eyes because I was death tired and I fell asleep...
    14. Katsuno's Avatar
Hmm no luck in the last days, mostly because of my sleep deprivation
Gonna try a new Wild approach tonght (never tried it like that) and I'm looking forward to it.

Btw it's pretty silent in this group lately :O
    15. siuol's Avatar
yea it has been... for me its lack of progress unfortunantly
    16. Raspberry's Avatar
It's cause I've not been here I'm back.

I got two lucids, using MILD, though that was on the days I had a chance to WBTB.

And you guys just gave me a lightbulb moment I just realised that on my successful/more successful WILD attempts I always rolled my eyes around and flickered them because it helped me focus, like an anchor. I stopped doing it because I heard you should not move at all. I'm trying this tonight, or soon at least and I'll see if anything happens.

I hope it's not placebo though.
    17. siuol's Avatar
hmm well if you had more success before knowing about the eye movement thing, it probably isnt. im going to try MILD, it kinda looked the least appealing to me but i heard that if you get used to it for a while it can give consistant lucids, which is what i need. ive also been starting that method where you stay constantly aware (i stopped before because i missed my daydreams too much) and its supprisingly easy, now i just need to wait for results.
    18. Katsuno's Avatar
Well, KingJoshi just posted a tutorial on how to do my "Lucid Living" technique (he calls it ADA). The tutorial is so awesome and even I haven't been THAT aware (he tells much more things to be aware of)
I'm gonna put his tipps in my technique and have ld's all night long
Also welcome back Raspberry and congrats to your ld's. My sleep deprivation weekend is over and I had another vivid dream last night. Gonna try Wild tonight again.
    19. Raspberry's Avatar
      Thanks

I saw that tutorial just now. I tried being aware of everything and it's so hard, but if it's mastered then lucid dreams are pretty much unavoidable. I'm a day dreamer and this is gonna be really tough but I'll try. I'll do it in sessions like what Yoshi said.

@siuol I didn't really like the sound of MILD either but it's actually quite easy to learn and has gotten me most of my lucids You should give it a try.
    20. Katsuno's Avatar
Well I actually can have daydreams while being aware O.o
I just daydream and while that I try to shift my attention to my surroundings a little bit. It's a bit different because you can't be aware of your vision at that moment but you can be aware of your feelings.
      Basically I'm lucid daydreaming ;D
      And it's not that hard
At the first day I got some headaches but when you get used (under a week) it's just routine. I'm aware every 5 minutes or so.
