Back in college driving the Miata. Had to find my dorm room. Why am I here? Anyway, my fave band is playing in town that night. There were 2 venues and I was at the wrong one. With Kellee and L. Ozzy was playing on this stage. I wanted to go to the other one - I guess Kel went with me. We drove by a demolished roller coaster over grown with moss (weird). I think we made it too late for their show, but Jules came over. Andy took Kellee away. I offered to go back to my house in Charleston. I took Jules and Fab in the miata. It was fun, but here is were things get sketchy. I must have been aware I was dreaming because I could feel myself waking up, so I would rub my hands together to keep the dream going. While I was aware that I was dreaming - I wouldn't say it was a lucid dream.

I was somewhere familiar but I couldn't quite place it. Then I was at a jewelry store looking at oval diamonds for an engagement bracelet. I was confused, who is this for? Turns out I was getting married to a woman and she wanted a bracelet instead of a ring. I didn't buy it because it was heavily included in the stones. By now, I was really confused because I remembered I am already married to a man. And here was this girl I didn't even know planning my wedding to her. Trippy.

Golden Globes - Julia Roberts left me 6 dresses to choose from. They all fit really well. Red with horizontal stripes. Royal Blue, some earth tones. Oh, and a gold one. I think I went for the red. Nick was there sort of. And Barbara from high school (we ended up in her bedroom). Other than that it was all a mystery. I wasn't sure what I was doing there as I had no memory of these things the dream characters were telling me.

Somewhere up Strange Creek - an open field with a house in the corner where the woods start, next to a creek. I have my 3 cats there and I'm with Stacy (old roommate). I'm not sure what is going on, but there are storms outside and I'm worried that the cats will knock water into the space heaters. I think I'm baby sitting someone's kids. I decide I want to go to my grandparents' house. So I pick up Wellie and start walking out into the field. Wind is blowing and it is getting dark fast, so I run back to the house, still holding Wellie. I decide to try again so off we go. I see a twister on the horizon, and that triggers me to do the hand test. I can only do one hand because I'm carrying Wellie with the other one. I turn lucid and I start to fly all the while never letting go of Wellie. The field turns into a kind of a cityscape - looks like hollywood and highland. I'm asking people for J and suddenly standing in front of me. Hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Then there is an unknown woman on my lap. J gives me another kiss on the cheek and says "it's real." Felt real.

Don't remember much before turning lucid though I think there were 2 attempts. It had to do with getting in an air plane - somehow turned lucid. Had a seat to myself by the window. Looked out and there was a large plane crossing under us and it looked like a great white shark. That scared me, so I turned back from the window. I was lucid so I decided to go to the North Pole and see if I could create some kind of Santa Land. Somewhat successful. There was snow and a bunch of wilderness and the pine trees were decorated. Occasionally there would be a flying elf, but I think they turned out to be just balloons. I never saw Santa, but I ended up in a cabin in the wilderness with my family (aunts, uncles, etc). Not bad.

Rescuing kittens on the beach. Some have problems with their eyes and some are still nursing from their mother. Thinking of a way to get them trapped and fixed. We had a million dollar rental. I think the cats were swimming. Stewart? Portia? Akira?

American Horror Story in my brother's house. I'm younger - Evan is there and there is a tornado coming. Guessing I should get in the basement. The rooms keep changing. I was driving somewhere.

Issue with my old apartment. Apparently a new roommate is coming - kind of as I'm leaving. His name is Andy and he has a cold sore on his mouth. Anyway I'm showing him the place (which is the dream version of the apartment - it always look the same in dreams, however it looks nothing like the actual apartment (that should be a trigger for lucidity)). Question of what the rent would be since I would be leaving. I hadn't been to the apartment in quite some time. I think my cats were there, but there lots of insects on the floor and under the bed. I kept thinking I need to vacuum. Roommates bedroom flooded. I tried to find Elfie, the landlord. The place was suddenly a high rise complex instead of the dingbat.

I left a year and a half ago. But I must feel still very drawn to that place.

At home in WV outside in driveways. Nick R. and Shawn H. show up. Talk to Shawn about being a cop. Nick is in trouble charged with murder. He came to me in desperation. All I could give him was sympathy and love. He was wearing a borrowed black waiters uniform for his court appearance. Something about guns. Charges were dropped and he would be free. We were walking in my neighborhood and I couldn't find something (almost lucid) then I turned and Shawn was now a zombie. Nick and I ran back to my house. Somehow the dream shifted and I am alone looking across a country club golf course. I walk across to go to this store to get a gift for a small boy (who?) while I'm there I start singing with an older lady in the store. We want to get together later, so I am giving her my number - and can't write the number correctly - should trigger lucidity - it did briefly, but woke up.

At some point I was taking care of some little boys - not sure why, who or how.

A wedding was being planned for me - don't know who I was marrying. Our mothers were planning it. Dr. Andy (cat's vet) was the jeweler and designed a really beautiful bracelet cuff - the gold sloped into a loose pave knot that held 3 large round brilliant stones. There was also some colored enamel in there. It was beautiful - price was $15 - $20K. I liked that in place of the ring. Wedding went through, completely disorganized, but it was fun. I didn't know anyone there (including the groom). For the ring exchange he used a stand in ring that said Cubbies. Seemed like a nice enough guy.

Feeling less and less lucid these days.

Sampson came to visit at my old house. Hanging out in front of the garage. He had the blue bandage on his right arm so they could hook up the IV. He was there but he was sick. He had eaten a dead cat (Stewart) and it poisoned him. He was hospitalized for a few days - bill was $600 - then he was going to be ok. Though the hospital was in Culver City. I believe this was a real visit. I miss him so.

Shooting another film - John Cameron Mitchell's new one. Subject matter was sex and heroin. I was supposed to shoot up for real. But the other actor changed the scene so that I didn't have to. He "saved" me. Why would I have done that in the first place? My parents were there. Very Strange.

Perhaps it is indicative of desires I may have if there were no consequences. Something to think about.

Playing a character, Marnie, in a Bill Murray film. Shot in Hawaii. Similar to his most recent. I was like an adopted daughter or something. Maybe a transient he was taking care of. I remember the visuals of Hawaii. We were in Oahu. It was fun to escape and be someone else for a while.

Renting an apartment to JC. Very tidy with the bed made. Minimalist. I made corn muffins with sausage - but they were very late and hard to get them completed. Something about lips. JC disappeared.
