Non-Lucid Dreams
Woke up at 7 a.m after going to sleep at 4 a.m, read a couple of stuff before going back to sleep, stubbornly. I ended up in a FA, with a incredibly loud buzzing sound zipping across my room. I look up and catch a glimpse of a enormous wasp, with a bulging abdomen in bright yellow stripped with shiny black. I pull the blanket over my head to hid from it, but I feel heavy and sluggish. I'm in a train and get out at the station. A old man with very few hairs left walks up in my face and start spouting non-sense, I try to flee. Finally, I'm in the dark, laying in my bed. I feel someone climbing next to me, then pulling me against himself. I recognize Eli's body, his warmth and smell and burrow in his arms.
Not much on the dream recall front (I've only clocked 3h of sleep) but a very vivid hypnalogic image of the setting/rising sun through a deep orange, slightly bubbly liquid.
Recall still bad è_é I vaguely remember having to save someone, a dark haired teenager girl.
Not sur of what exactly the dream was about, or where it tooks place, or anything, but there was Eli in a blue shirt and black jeans and a smile
It's the night, in a place full of small, long wood and paper houses, with dirt paths around them. The place is lit by paper lanterns hanging in trees. I'm following a young girl with long, flowing dark hairs. She's transporting a big barrel of sake, with a thick rituel cord warped around it. She's running from a whole sled of chinese and japanese spirits, I can see their shadows on the walls of the houses, pointy headed foxes, jumping parasol, dancing lantern, witches and ogres. She managed to reach a hole in the ground and throw the barrel in. We're taken to a gigantic house, the woman in charge give us a room to clean. I open the door, it's dark inside, and the smell is horrible, decaying things in a dark, warm place, closed up for years. I gag and put a tissue on my mouth and nose, it's disgusting, but at least it's a dry rot, things turning to dust rather that slime. The girl with me starts filling garbage bin, but I notice another girl, in the room next door, strugling with a younger sibling. My fellow tells me that the younger sibling is mentaly deficient, and that's why they're struggling. I go back to cleaning, but she almost finished it. I pickup something from the previous occupant and unwarp it. It's a wooden sign, with "academy of cooking and baking, 1887" engraved on it. There's also a name, and I deduce that he was the previous candidate; this all thing is a sort of competition. I walk out of our room to another, and I meet up with this man, a chef. He's helping someone whip up a desert, and hand me a place. It's ice cream, with a syrup on it. The syrup is warm, dark chocolat with the faintest hint of coffee. I can't really pinpoint what the ice cream is. It's both sweet and savory, slighly nutty but more well rounded, in a crème anglaise base. It's delicious, the texture is wonderfull, rich without being cloying and creamy without feeling greasy.

HAving bad back aches shot my recall to hell, but ELi helped me remember this one. I'm in a city close to the sea with a couple of friends. W're talking about something being dangerous in the water, right after I got out of it. We're not on a beach; we're on a street with large cement paving that goes all the way to the sea like the edge of a canal. (typing this I remember a dream that happen in a place very similar, but at night, with a layer of snow everywhere. I was the same sea canal and same open archway better fitted for giant that for men.) The's a flotting line in the water delimiting the secure zone, but it's barely 55cm aya from the border of the canal. It's very sunny, and have the kind of dry heat of summer. I point out to my fried the border, but she says "that could as well not be here, for the goid it makes." I can see here point, so we drop the subject. We start walking along the streets, passing stores. We stop in front of one shopwindow: it's displaying a live-sized anime doll, with a lot of accessories and options presented with it on shelves. It makes me feel slightly incorfortable, but my friend get in the store and I don't want to way outside so I follow. Inside there's all sort of things: right in front of the entry it's cat-sized fantasy animals, somes very anime inspired, other more realistic. There are alive and breathing, but they stay on the shelves without moving, eyes blank. deeper in the shop are the anime dolls, both male and female. Like the animals, they are alive, but soulless. All the way to the back, This dolls look exactly human, and I'm creeped out. My friend start elbowing each-other and making exited comments about a male doll; he looks like a boys band member, young, pretty in a inoffensive way, with a stubble to get him more rugged, but shortn carefully gelled hair and a open collar shirt. I find him bland and say so, but my friend just titter. We finally get out without buying anything, and we split up. My closest friend and me take a taxi to another part of town, it's looks very similar to the one we just left. As we pick up our shopping back front the car, I realize that our driver is the same doll model that the one we saw in the shop, but he doesn't look soulless; he's rather quick witted and funny. When he seem my open mouthed stare, he winks at me. I hurry up to catch up with my friend, wonderring what the hell is going on. We meet up with someone dressed in rags and flowing robe, he's here to reveal things to us. We have to jump in the water for that. My friend, the same that told me the water was dangerous, strips off to her bathing suit and jumps in behind the ragman. I jump with them, the water feels too warm, but it does smell like the sea. We swim a little a reach a wirlpool. We have to swim in, and it drops me in a house. I recognize it as my house, even if it doesn't look like the real deal at all. It's seems to be build of with wood and angles, with a lot of stairs and ladders going into small rooms. I climb up a ladder to go to my bedroom, but once I'm up there I realize that we reorganised the house and it's now my little sister's. I get back down and looks for my room, but the ragman reappear and I remember that I was supposed to follow him. We get out of the house and jump in another wirlpool. We're in a cave lits with colorful spots. They're a lot of thoses living dolls here, both animals and human, chatting together. The more I typed, the more I remembered, but that was a confused mess allright.
Disturbing part in spoiler. I'm in a industrial building, all cements and metals staircase. It's nighttime outside, but the inside are lit with harsh neon lights and green night light. I'm with a brown haired, thin woman, a little taller than me; the light make her looks sick, and put emphasis on the dark circles under her eyes. The air is cold and damp, the kind of atmosphere that seep into your bones and chill you for hours. We're headed outside, but a man cross our path. He's not very tall, but very charismatic, with brown hair and very white skin. He wears a crisp white shirt, without any wrinkles despite the late hour. He makes us walk to a lower part of the building, into a big room divided by metal fences. He makes us enter one of the small room delimited by the fence. There is a medical chair in the middle, with straps to keep the head, arms and legs in place. He straps the woman in, and she starts to shiver. Spoiler for here go my lunch: Then he produces a long straight razor with a mother of pearl handle. It glitter in the neon light, like his teeth when he smile. He use this razor to slice of part of the woman head, it go in and out like a hot knife in butter, and take the piece in his hand, inveilling her brain. There isn't any blood. Just her brain, that looks green in the light. I can see with chirugical precision the skin of her head, then the bone of her skull, then the differents membranes that warps the brain, and the brain itself, with the circonvolutions neatly cut like a anatomical picture. It shine wetly in the light, pulsing slightly. He dump the piece he already cut and slice a bigger one, all the waiy throught her nose and cheek; I can see the inside structure of her skull, the pink of the gums and tongue, the muscles of her faces perfectly cutted. He gently push in what's left of her frontal lomb inside the skull , showing a small patch on the surface of it where the brain of the woman seem to have rotten oway into a powery, gray-green mildew. it's small, barely larger that the blade of the razor, with irregular border, and it's maybe two millimeter deep; it's hard to juge with the mildew. He tells me "that's why I have to do it, you see." Her brain seem greener around the rotten area. It's a surealist butchery, a bloodless carnage. He keeps smiling. I get out, down another staircase, to the parking lot under the building. Once I'm outside, I start running. There are other people in the parking, trying to get away as fast as possible. A man walking in see me running and turn on his heels, running too. We pass a couple of garbage collector, one telling the other that he gt sick and now he can smell everything in the garbage bags, "from cambell soup to kitty litter." The street are lit with city light and colorful neons, the road go uphill. The ground is slick with a recent rain, the sky pitch black. Lots of commerces are still open, spilling lights on the sidewalk. I keep running, past a laundromat covered in white tiles and a chinese restaurant with red and black paper lanterns.
I'm in a gigantic building, a mix of a old manor and a hospital or a lab. It's a university. I'm in a the great hall, the goes up to the fourth floor with pathways and lifts criss-crossing it. I need to go somewhere, to pickup my bag. I take one of the lift and myself going down instead of up. I walk around, slighly confused to how I got here. The underground is part of the old building; it's nicely decorated. I find a room with a incredible window: something going from the high ceiling almost to the floor, covering the whole wall down to a padded bench with a few cushions scattered on it. It open to a mossy wall, with water dripping from it, with light pouring in a thin, bluish curtain. I stay in from of it for a little while, drinking in the beauty of it. Then I remember my bag and I leave to find it. I walk to what looks like a drugstore, with quite a lot of people scattered around. I start to recognize them, and I realize that at leat half of my middleschool class is here, all grownup. We make a loose circle and start to catch up a little, but we simply don't have time. One of them keep talking to me while going back to his work as a cashier. I let him work and start really wonderring how I'm going to go where I need to. Finally I decide to get out of the building then re-enter, to find my way again. I go to the door of the store and I find myself in front of another building, where I know my bag was all along. It was quite a nice dream, even if I stumbled around being confused about everything XD
Fragmented sleep, with very little REM. Only dream remembered was... interesting. Had a nail pounded into the... nail of my thumb. With blood spurting and everything. Didn't feel anything, wasn't even scared. Weird.
I'm laying down on a couch, in a recess of a bigger room, next to a open french window. The sun is streaming in between white drapes fluttering. Their is a garden behind the window, green lawn with a tall dark green hedge and a tree that looks like a mulberry tree. The couch is warm and made of buttery smooth brown leather, I can feel the fines stiches on the cushions. The wall above me is cream and the ceilling white. The corner of the wall behind my head and going into the house is is covered up to maybe one meter and a half with smooth, cold ceramic tiles, longer than larger. There are this beautiful, deep red of chinese lacquer, and contrast very nicely with the wooden floor. I tilting my head, I can see a open door, going inside another room shrouded in darkness. I start to wonder where I am, and try to get up. My body is incredibly heavy and inyelding, and I fall of the couch. I ended up on a thick cream carpet, just in front of the open window. I can feel the warmth of the sun and a soft breeze. A little blond haired boy in a school uniform comes in from the garden. His hair are wispy and almost white, falling on his shoulders and fluttering in the breeze like the drapes. I ask him to find Eli, and he runs back into the garden without a word. I try to lift my arm, but my body still doesn't respond. I turn my head to look outside, and I see a tall man in the garden with the boy. I call Eli and he turns his head to me, smiling. He walks to me and stop right next to my hips. From the floor he looks impossibly tall, with his eyes shining in the sun. He kneels and wrap his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. I feel engulfed, warm, and above all, safe. In a crystal clear instant, I can feel his warmth through his cotton tshirt, his belt buckle against me, the smell of his skin and the tickle of his light stubble. I'm in the garden now, standing up under the mulberry tree. It's still a beautiful sunny afternoon, the walls of the house are a textured cream with white borders around the windows. I'm looking over the corner of the house, to the open portal. A wolf run in, followed by a pack of barking dogs. I pick her up and recognize my totem animal. Her fur is all matted and dirty, and she's pantting, but at least I've scared the dogs away. I plan to bath her and ask her what she thinks about the name I'm picked for her, but I lose the dream before I can do that. finally, I'm in my sister bedroom, she picked up two small orange stripped kittens, a male and a female. The female one is boncy and adventurous and quikly desappear into the house; the male meows at me until I pick him up and scarry him around with his fronts paw over my arm like a stuffed toys, making him purrs loudly.
This is a jumbled mess, thanks to insomnia keeping me up until 5 am. I felt like all my sleep was REM. Second dream to follow! Dreamlet: I'm in the kitchen, the hod is on and I'm cooking something with grounded meat and tomato sauce. It smells sweet and spicy, I'm mixing it with a wooden spoon. My mother come to eat with me, carrying two bowls. She give me one, and start spooning the meal in her. I discover that there is full, big black window spiders cooked in. My mother gleefully spoons on in her powl. She then hand me back the spoon. I take some of the meat, poking the spiders dubiously.
I'm prepping for some kind of exam, the girls with me are passing around makeup as if it's a essential part of the whole thing.
During all the dream I'm not here; I'm merely witnessing what's happening. It's a hospital of sort, and the resident physician is a big burly man with dark hair and bear and a gruff behavior. The place is brightly lit and clean, with nurses in white running around a being busy. An incredible catalogue of people enter, each one with more ridiculous ailment and belief that the next. One of them worries that her belly button won't shrink back after giving birth through it; another want his broken hand to be cut off so it can grow back whole. The gruff physician isn't very amused, but some of the nurses hide in the rest room to giggle.
I'm throw out of bed by heavy rocking and get back up in the dark. My lucidity is very low, and I get lost in the room. I snap back on the bed and I'on throw out again, and this time I manage to find the window and I get out. I'm on a road in a middle of a neighborhood built on a steep hill. The hill between the house is very green, but the sky is overcast and the light is kind of gloomy and gray. I wander a little, barely lucid, and call out Eli. I don't find him and I don't think of using my usual summoning techniques. I see a friend going into a house and follow her. Inside I'm in a open kitchen in gray and light wood, very clean et gleaming. Il walk throught it and open the door. I don't see what is in this room; I only see Eli, who almost fall out of the room as if he was leaning on the door. It give me a little more lucidity and I hug him. Another man get ou of the room and tells us that he is putting together a horse ride. I drag ELi with me to go for it. We get back on the road at the foot of the hill. Now there's a handful of horses and riders here, waiting. A chestnut horse and a white one are still without riders. I climb on the white one as Eli does the same on the chesnut one. His horse neigh and fuss a little, but he manage get it under control. After that, we're off into the woods we can see at the end of the road. At this moment the little a lucidity I may have is long gone, but horse riding is nice, and it feels life-like. We reach the wood and my horse bolts. I stay on its back and let it burn itself out.
I'm in house full of people, they're preparing a wedding. There's a lot a fussing going around, and a lot of men and women doing a lot of things everywhere. The room I' sitting in is painted white and full of golden light. I'm in front of a vanity, with a ring of light around the mirror and makeup products on the top. A older woman is with me, asking me to stay still while she does my hair. I suddently realise that I'm the bride. The groom come in: it's a incredibly tall man with large shoulders and dark brown hair, and quite a bit of stubble. I don't know him, but he seem nice and quite sweet. He is exicted about his clothes: He's wearing a crisp white shirt, a black bowtie and tuxedo jacket, with a golden skirt going down to his ankles and adorable black heels. I squee and compliment him, he's smiling like a kid.
