Dream One: I was at the lake house, but instead of being a cabin it was a condo in a condo building. I'm just arriving, and I notice there's an open tote sitting outside the door, I ignore it at first and go on inside to put down the bags of food and clothes and stuff I'm carrying. I put alcohol in the fridge, and find myself thinking that my cousins aren't coming but I wish they would because we had so much fun when we went to the lake with them last year. I see a blow up raft leaned against a wall, and note that it's dark. I go to turn on the light by the door, and notice the tote on the front porch again. I turn on the inside and outside lights, then bend over to check out the tote. It has a note that says it's from the game warden on it that says our first aid supplies are inadequate and we can not use the building until our first aid supplies are adequate. I pull out my cell phone and call my aunt who is the unofficial caretaker of the cabin. She claims that she left the first aid kit up to my cousins to handle since they were the ones who used the cabin the most, and if the supplies are inadequate again (apparently this is the seventh time!) then we need to call them. I start reading the note from the warden trying to figure out what is missing, but it doesn't say. I decide to go ask some of the neighbors whats in their first aid supplies to see what we're missing. I wake up. Dream Two: (I'm not entirely convinced this was one dream, it may have been two, lol) I'm in the woods. I've been chosen for some sort of fighting school and tournament (thank you hunger games -_-) and I'm trying to make my way to the academy. I am under the impression I've just killed and eaten a who rabbit, and my belly is quite full. I come to the end of the woods, and there's a field with a road on the other side. I can see a guy carrying a lot of bags up the road, and I start running thinking he's probably going to the same academy I am. When I finally catch up to him, I notice he's carrying a telescope with him, and he's shaking all over like he's about to pass out. I offer to carry a bag for him, but he refuses. I tell him he's shaking so he needs to stop over working himself. He says he's shaking because he hasn't eaten in three days. I ask him why not, and he claims he doesn't have the money to buy food on his way to the academy. I tell him there are lots of ways he could get food, but he counters with stealing is illegal. I tell him there's always loop holes, then show him how there's a fence around the field beside us. I tell him all the grain inside that fence belongs to the farmer who's growing it, but the wind blows the grains off sometimes and then it sprouts up close to the road. The wheat not inside the fence is fair game for everyone. It's not stealing because it's wild, and where I'm from it'd have all been picked before it was even really ripe. He gets a disgusted look on his face, and says we can't eat raw grain, it has to be processed and milled and baked. I shrug, and then we walk another half mile or so before we come across some planters near the road. I act like I dropped something, and bend down to "pick it up" and pull a carrot out of one of the planters and hide it in my pants leg. Then a few feet more, I see a little turtle in the road and I pick it up. There are also cos mooing at us from a nearby pen, and I contemplate milking one really quick, and the guy starts freaking out over the carrot. He starts telling me again about how stealing is illegal and I could be killed for it. I shrug and tell him that it's better than starving to death anyways, at least we'd get a comfy bed the night our last night if we were arrested instead of sleeping on the hard ground before starving. Then he asks me what I'm planning on doing with the turtle and the carrot anyways, and I tell him that there's got to be a stream ahead because the turtle wouldn't be far from the stream, especially not one this little. When we reach the stream I plan to build a fire, boil some water, and put the turtle and carrot in the water to make soup. He says that's gross, you can't eat a turtle, and I tell him you can and I love turtle. (I think I've seriously heard of turtle soup before, but it could just be dream nonsense, ha ha) Then the time skips, so I may have just woken up and gone back to sleep. I keep thinking I had 3 dreams and can only remember two so that might explain the time skip. I'm arriving at the academy. There's a big entrance way, and there's a couple of girls standing in it, giving out silk robes. The robes are black velvet with either Red, Green, or Blue satin accents and ribbons. They offer my choice of colors, and I pick the blue because it's a beautiful cerulean, and mine is the last blue robe left. The girls show me that there are two ways to wear it, but they're not very nice about it. I quietly nod and put on the robes so that there's a black rose over my right shoulder. I walk into a large church like assembly hall where there are others wearing the robes grouped by robe colors. I find the blues and stand with them. There's a speech, something about learning to fight with honor and to the death, I can't remember much because I kept feeling very out of place, like everyone was staring at me secretly. Then the instructor dismissed us to the training grounds. We all flip our robes around, and they go from looking really fancy to looking like the outfits in Bleach. We all grab swords and staffs from a weapons rack and practice attacking each other for a couple minutes, then a whistle blows and we know that is the bell. Suddenly I'm aware of why everyone is looking at me, I think to myself I've read this book, I'm in a movie. (in reality, the whole thing was a mash up of books and anime, not any one story line in particular) I am suddenly aware that this is some sort of Method acting course/movie where everyone must assume the role of the character 24/7 and act out the whole movie with no cuts or interruptions. I am the star of the movie Then I follow the class, quietly into the class room, but everyone stops and starts whispering I look to see what they're whispering about. There's a boy with dark hair, and he's very attractive, walking through the class. I recognize him as both my fiance by arranged marriage and my enemy. I think I don't want to marry him, and while he's hot he's a total jerk. He walks by me, and sneers at me, "Just because your the one expected to win doesn't mean I'm going to let you." I sneer back at him and say something challenging back, but I can't remember what now that I'm awake. He makes a noise like "tche" and then saunters back to his desk. Our teacher walks to the front of the class, and looks really confused. He tells us Class is dismissed for the day while they sort things out with the new students arrival. Then everyone sits in silence for a moment, until someone yells CUT! Then everyone gets up and starts walking off chattering and drinking coffee. I follow the group out the door unsure of what to do next. Outside the building, I notice looks like the elementary school I went to. Coming out of the academy is like coming out of the school gym. I walk towards the main building, thinking I want to go to the Music trailer for a music class. On the way, I see a pair of shoes that I recognize as the neighbor's kids shoes. I put them on over my own sandals (yeah, I have tiny feet for real, my friends 7 year old daughter has bigger feet than me :/) and then I wrap the laces around both my legs so I can only take tiny steps. I waddle this way about twenty feet to the playground and then take the shoes off and toss them at the neighbors kid. Then a bus pulls up behind me and it's the teacher from the academy offering me a ride to the music room. I agree to ride with him, and he shows me his phone where he's texting someone about the fact that the jerk showed up a day early and messed up the filming. Then the teacher calls me Saiya (as in Blood + and Blood -C), and says something about the costume getting him confused. I call him sensei and offer to take off the robes. I pull them over my head, and I have a thin white sun dress on underneath it. The sun dress rides up my legs a bit from the upward pull, but I pull it down quickly. I blush a bit, and for a moment I think it's not so bad and walk on into the music class. The teacher doesn't follow me. There are a couple of kids from the academy in there, but they're all out of character. We hear a noise, and go back outside, the bus is waiting on us outside. We all load up in it, and then it stars out across the parking lot. At the end of the parking lot, it starts driving into the field behind the school. It goes into a ditch that I don't think it can possibly get out of, but it manages not to have any trouble at all. Then it stops at the edge of the field next to the woods. A couple girls climb out, and I follow them, feeling a bit like a third wheel, but that it's better to be with people I barely know than to be alone. They start to duck under a fence, and I start to follow them, but get stuck. Then A boy runs up with a toy laser gun and starts shooting us. Everyone laughs, and I get unstuck and look back across the field and notice it's now sparse woods. Like, every tree is at least ten feet from any other tree but no more than twenty feet, so it provides great shade by still open space to walk about in. There are people in the same back robes as the academy attached to elastic jump harnesses and they are bouncing in the trees doing flips and crazy stuff. It's a show. I notice the people are actually wearing wigs and cosplaying as Bleach characters and pretending to fight one another. I find it really awesome and want to get a closer look. I squeeze into the crowd, and someone grabs me from behind and pulls me back into their arms. I turn to look, and notice I'm now in a crowd of academy students wearing the black and green robes. The girls are chattering and the boys are just goofing off. The guy who pulled me into the group laughs good naturedly and tells me something about not being so shy and quiet when I'm not in character. He pulls me back again so I'm pressed against him, but he doesn't put his arms around me or anything so I'm not sure what who he is or what my relationship with him is, I'm really confused and think I'll just watch the show like I wanted to. But when I look at the show they're not in harnesses anymore, instead the people are racing RC cars, and it's pretty boring. Someone steers one of the cars at our group, and I jump, the car passes between my legs. I move and the people do it again. I'm really uncomfortable and feel like I want to leave. Suddenly I see that I have a wii mote. I impulsively push a button on it, and the music track these people are racing RC cars to changes, everyone starts freaking out trying to figure out what's going on. I slip away from the crowd and stash the wii mote in the bushes then try to walk away. I'm really uncomfortable there, and I feel like I just messed up their show so I feel guilty. As I'm walking back out of the trees, my daughter wakes me up. While the last dream was very long, I didn't sleep much last night nor take any notes because my toddler was sick most of the night. When I woke up naturally, I went straight back to sleep not bothering to write anything down. I'm hoping this stomach virus that's making it's rounds through my house will be over soon so I can get back to sleeping decently, lol.
