    Bombs, Natrual Selection, and spiders

This was a weird dream. Like, a REALLY strange dream. The dream started out and I was a soldier in a military base. Someone said to look up, and everyone did. We saw a bomb falling through the air, heading toward the base. Unlike my comrades standing around me who were freaking our, I calmly and quickly started running away from the base, as anyone would do. I remember I was breathing pretty hard and that was the focus of my attention. The vague group of people I was running with looked back, and we saw the bomb nearing the ground. I found a rock I could crouch behind. The bomb dropped, and I could see and hear the dust blowing over the rock. I passed out.

When the dream resumes, I am in an arena of sorts with fighting between alien-like creatures who could turn invisible and the soldiers, us. It seemed very similar to the game Natural Selection. There was a young Hispanic man next to me who had a buzz cut. He told me to follow him, and I did. We passed through a circular room with some multicolored plunger-looking things lined around the edge. We turned left after going through the room and the man killed some aliens. Along the way I asked him how he survived the bomb, to which he replied, "I don't like to think about it." We eventually reached a green plunger, and I intuitively knew this was an objective for victory. It saw us and started hopping toward us. We motioned it to follow us and we trekked back to our base. In the room with the bases, for each color there was a base that looked somewhat similar to a convention booth. There were 4 people standing on one side of the booth, the one closer to the wall, and in front of each of them was a computer. There was a small barrier, and then sat the soldiers like myself. It seemed that they were awaiting orders. In any case, as we walked to the green base on the top right corner of the room, we were forced to pass the other bases. They all glared at us, because we were the first ones to bring back a victory token (point? doesn't matter) I initiated a high-5 all around with my green partners and me and the Hispanic man were off again.

One way or another, I got separated from the Hispanic man. I found a small alcove and tried to crawl inside. I must have shrunk down in size, but I didn't realize it at the time. I was crawling around this complex of dark damp corridors, trying to find 3 black boxes with a futuristic looking pattern of blue bands on them. I was fooled by many boxes that were black and had a pattern, but were not blue. Eventually I reached a man in a mystical looking cloak and hooide who seemed to be expecting me (at this point I believe I grew back to my original size). He was levitating 7 balls of orange light in his hands. Mesmerized, I walked up to him. He asked if I wanted them, and before I could say yes, he took back his hands and either hid or made dissapear the balls of orange light. "Nuh uh uhhh", he mocked. From the shadows the the left of us crawled a giant spider. I saw the spider and said, "Please. If I'm going to die, make it as painless as possible." She immediately reached around me and stung me with an enormous stinger. I grew faint instantly, and with a few of her legs she caught me and held me in a bridal/princess carry.

...This, but at an easier angle. I tried to feel where I had been stung to feel the stinger itself sticking out of me. It was probably as long as my entire legs. She explained to me that I would grow faint, my blood wold clot up, and that I'd die easy. I was comforted by that. Another creature came out from the shadows to the left of us, this time looking like a male version of Nina from Fullmetal Alchemist...

...Who stood upright, but still had the mane that Nina had. He begun to reenact some romantic scene with the spider. It was obvious that the chimera-thing and the spider were in some sort of romantic relationship. During their reenactment, my vision flashed between what was in front of me and the monsters replaced by actual human beings, doing the same things but underwater (for some odd reason). I couldn't see the human equivalent of the chimera, but the spider was a woman with brown hair and was wearing a white nightgown from the 1800s-ish.

This is when my alarm rang and woke me up.
