    1. Basic Task Completed!

This dream was written in past tense because I was so excited at completing the basic task that I forgot to write in present tense.

      • I fell asleep at 7 AM and soon found myself in a dream. At first, I only thought I was waking up after my nap. But after I witnessed time shifting (first I saw the evening star, then it was morning again, then night) in front of my eyes out my window, I did a nose pinch RC and realised I was dreaming. I got out of bed and walked downstairs. I looked into the dining room where I saw my mom. I then had a false awakening. My suspicion caused me to do another RC. I could breathe, so I knew I was still dreaming. I went to the fridge and opened it, and saw it was full of pudding cups. I decided since this was a dream, I could eat as many as I wanted. I ate a burger and it tasted like the real thing but the flavor was a bit weaker. I tried to utilize some dream control by conjuring up a backpack to put the pudding cups in. The backpack didn't appear even after I believed it would (heard you should believe, not try), but I just pretended to unzip the backpack and put the pudding cups in. I then walked out the door, pretending to be carrying a backpack, and decided to take a walk. I then remembered that I wanted to do the task of the month, which was laugh in a DCs face. I walked past a few people, then came across a guy who was fixing his fence. I walked up to him and proceeded to laugh right in his face. It was weak laughter, but that was probably due to it being a dream. I DID try to raise my chin and laugh like a villian in a cartoon, no matter how weak the laughter was. The man didn't give me a response.

    2. No recall today, but here's an old lucid!

I didn't recall any dreams this morning (still doing CAT), but here is a lucid dream I recorded on the 14th that I never posted here.

I'm in a place that looks like a small grocery store, almost like Molsberry's Market. I remember to do a nose pinch RC, and I can breathe through my pinched nose. I do it again to double check. I realize I am dreaming and I decide to walk around the store, but my sister is there and I feel she is following me. I try to utilize some dream control by saying to myself "I'm alone in this store". When I reach the exit, there is a cashier there, but he doesn't say anything. My sister hands me a shopping cart and leads me to a kind of stunt ramp situated on a road bridge (those elevated highways you sometimes see). Utilizing my dream control again, I float myself up to the ramp. I get butterflies in my stomach but I try to push them down by reminding myself that I'm dreaming. There are some people, mostly guys, doing flips and dangerous stunts on the ramp. One guy lands in the nearby lake/ocean with a broken bike. My cart has turned into a bike and, even though I still know I'm dreaming, do not want to take such a risk.

There is a slight improvement in dream control here (especially the floating part) but you see I have trouble controlling DCs (In childhood I had dreams where the DCs would scare me, either by popping in front of me suddenly, speaking loudly in gibberish, or I would get the eerie feeling I was being watched or followed.)

    3. Secret Under-Table Swimming Pool

My mom and I are under the dinner table, and there is a wading pool that comes up to my thighs. Further "underground", there is another pool, only this one is deeper. My mom is trying to coax me into going into the deeper one, but I'm too afraid.
I breifly recall another dream that was similar to this, but I don't go fully lucid.

This is an example of a dream that is somewhat common for me: remembering dreams that never were. I will be in a dream, and then I'll be like "Hey! I remember this!" despite the fact that this is the first I've ever dreamed of it.
    4. A bunch of FAs

by , 09-10-2013 at 05:25 PM (The Dream Cauldron)
I woke up at around 8 AM and left my room to go downstairs. I realize I'm dreaming as I go down the steps. The dream feels fuzzy but I can still feel the railing and hear the ping of the railing.

I have a FA and am now in my dining room. There is a storm outside, the backyard is flooded and it looks like a tornado is on the house.

After the storm the backyard seems to have changed. I look around and note that the leaves on the tree are a different color and some people's backyard ornaments are missing.

Later I'm in a really weird place that is a combination of a bouncy castle and a candy land. I got here from a mazelike blue building where a DC said something about "my (their) fortress" and I thought "yeah, your fortress" because of how confusing the hallways were.
