    1. Dream Figure Summarizes my Lucidity as, “Interesting, an Epiphany!”

      by , 12-01-2014 at 03:12 AM
First off, before I describe the lucid dream, I had no idea what ‘epiphany’ meant (though I did remember hearing it before). This word is not in my vocabulary. I immediately Google ‘epiphany’ upon waking and this was what I found:

Epiphany: Ancient Greek word. Enlightening realization allows a situation to be understood from a new and deeper perspective.

As part of my lucid dreaming regime I always drink one or two glasses of water before I go to bed, so that I have to wake during the night (yes the P word). I use the ‘Wake Back to Bed’ method so I can be consciously aware during my REM cycle as my body sleeps. This need to pee entered into a dream prior to my waking. I was at a ‘fancy pants’ hotel standing the conference room lobby area with a bunch of people. I had to go real bad, so I found the closest washroom. This was a private washroom, with a lock mechanism ¾’s of the way up the door. I locked the door. The bathroom had a large window facing the sidewalk, and a skylight facing the multi-storey brown brick hotel. It was very high-end, and very clean. There was a toilet and sink. I found it really weird that there were large windows in a washroom. My first thought was that the windows were mirrored, so people couldn’t see in. Any which way, I wasn’t taking a chance, so I decided to sit on the toilet instead of standing. Have you ever tried to pee during a dream? Well, you can’t (most of the time).

All of a sudden, I hear a man asking me a question. Holy crap, there’s a man sitting to the right of me, on another toilet! He had brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing what looked like a Star Trek uniform. I said to him in a stern voice, “How did you get in here, I locked the door!” He jumped to his feet (I’m glad his pants weren’t down), he apologized, and then he walked towards the door to leave. I looked at the door, and realized the lock mechanism was gone for some reason. Well, this kind of stuff only happens in dreams. I instantly became lucid, and the clarity was perfect. DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). Actually the dream clarity was perfect, even before I became lucid. I then said to dream figure, “Wait, stay! I’m aware!” He stopped and looked at me slightly surprised. He turned again to leave, and in a pleading voice I said, “No, wait, please stay, I’m aware! I want to talk to you!” He turned around and faced me, and his eyes momentarily went dark, and then they returned to brown. I was careful not to say I’m dreaming, or lucid, because that seems to mess with dream figures. He then sat on the toilet with his right leg over his left. His right elbow was on his right knee, and his right hand was up by his chin. He had this perplexed look, and then he said, “Interesting, an epiphany!” Then he asked me if I knew what epiphany meant, and I replied, "No, but I can look that up." I instantly woke, Googled ‘Epiphany’, and then recorded the experience in my dream journal. I didn’t want to wait until the morning to do this, because I would have forgotten 'epiphany' by then, since I never use it.

    2. Morning Snuggle

      by , 11-24-2014 at 07:30 PM
Last night’s dreams were perfect! I was just hanging out with family and friends at some of my favorite spots, and having a good ole time. None of these dreams were lucid except the false awakening just before my alarm went off. I’ll describe this memorable LD (DILD – Dream Induced Lucid Dream).

I was lying in bed asleep when my wife came and woke me up (in the dream - false awakening). She sat on the bed beside me, to the right. It was morning, because I could see the sunlight around the curtains, and through the bedroom door. There was another woman standing at the foot of my bed doing something by the TV stand. I thought maybe she was one of my wife’s friends. I told her I must look like a weirdo with my CPAP on. She said, “Oh, I didn’t even notice, my husband wears one too.” It was little embarrassing. The woman then walked out of the room, and then my two kids appeared on the bed. My beautiful daughter was lying to the left of me, and my son was sitting beside my feet. I looked at my daughter and said, “Daughter is that you?” She replied, “Hi dad, yeah it’s me!” I became instantly Lucid. I told her I loved her, and she told me she loves me too. I then snuggle her right in close with my right arm (lying on left side). She then said, “You make me feel so loved and _?_?_?” I said, “Daughter you’re whispering, I can’t hear you. What do you say?” I continued to snuggle her, then she said the same thing, but I still couldn’t hear what she said at the end of her sentence because she was whispering. Her whisper became quieter as she got further down the sentence. Her voice was very sincere and loving. I then woke from the dream because my alarm went off. What a perfect way to start the day!
    3. OBE to Lucid Dream to OBE

      by , 11-21-2014 at 05:11 PM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream (WILD). I was lying in bed asleep, yet conscious, waiting for my dream to start. My body was completely asleep, but my mind was alert. Then I could hear somebody sawing something with a hand saw. Who could possibly be sawing wood at this time of night? Maybe somebody is breaking into my house with a saw! They must be stopped! I rolled out of bed, left my room, and headed off down the hallway to the stairs. Suddenly, I’m back in bed again. I can still hear the sawing! I rolled out of bed again, left my room, and this time I found my wife in the hallway. She had a white glowing light around her, and said she can hear sawing. For the second time, I’m back in bed again. I can still hear the sawing. I figured it out, I’m doing OBE’s of False Awakenings, I then slipped into a lucid dream. This lucid dream lasted about a ½ hour so I’ll just describe the highlights, then finish off with how I exited into an OBE.

Most of the lucid dream happened in the fenced backyard of an old country style home. It was night time. When I first entered the dream, it was very dark and scary. I knew I was dreaming, but it still felt scared, so I hid under a bush. A nice woman came and reached her hand out to me, and asked me to come out and not be scared. So of course I did.

The fenced yard became more lit so I could see everything, but it was still night. People started to appear, and I was not sure where they came from, but they were all standing around and chatting. I joined in with a group of people and started to chat too. I did not let on that I was lucid; I was trying to blend in, observe the dream figures, and just have a good time. One of the guys I was talking too started to sing, ‘Can’t touch that!’ There were five of us there, and we all tried to sing along with the fellow, but I didn’t know most of the words, and I kept screwing up, but this one fellow kept the song going to a Tee. As he sang it we all lined up with our hands around each other’s waists and started to dance around the yard. It was very fun.

Then out of nowhere came this crazy chick on a forklift loader was trying to run over people in the backyard. I ran up to the forklift, stuck out my left hand point finger against the forklift’s left fork, and stopped it dead in its tracks. The back wheels started to spin, and then the front wheels started to lift off the ground. I couldn’t feel any force being applied to my point finger. The crazy forklift driver was staring at me with a real angry expression. She then jumped off the forklift and started punching and kicking me. I couldn’t feel anything. I said to her that I won’t fight her, because I don’t want to hurt anybody. She then grabbed a piece of wood and took a swipe at me, but it just passed right through me and I didn’t feel anything. I told her she can hit me with whatever she wants and it won’t do anything. She then turned around and stormed out of the yard. Everybody in the yard was watching what was going on, and they cheered as she left. The party continued.

Okay, this next dream figure interaction was very interesting. This fellow shoots up through the ground, out of nowhere, and starts to stagger around. I run up and grab him with my hands on either side of his chest. He say’s something to me that made no sense whatsoever. I was just like something somebody would say if you just woke them up. I then said to him, you must have had a couple of drinks or something. He said yeah, I had a couple of drinks before I went to bed. I put my one arm around his back and helped him over to a car. He sat down on the car hood. I asked him for his name. Before he could answer, some big dude behind me says my name. I turn and look at him. I said, how do you know my name, I didn’t say my name? He looked momentarily dumbfounded. He then said, “Don’t ask for names”. I said, “I just want to know his first name, so we can talk to each other.” People were starting to gather around to watch what was going on. Another dream figure instantly appeared beside the fellow that was addressing me, and he asked him who I was, so he told him. I thought I was going to be punted from the dream at this point, but then the drunken fellow then said his first name, “I’m Zsharat”. I thought that’s strange name? The two guys questioning me then disappeared into the crowd. Zsharat said, “This is going to be memorable.” He was smiling. He had also changed from a Caucasian to a dark alien with no nose or lips. That didn’t bother me at all (not sure why). He seemed quite thrilled with what was going on.

I started to think about how I stopped the forklift with a finger, and I decided to experiment a little with this. I saw an old dual axle dump truck on the other side of the fence, so I levitated it up in the air, and then spun it upside-down, and slammed it into the ground. To my surprise, and without my help, the truck then flipped itself back over onto its wheels, and a guy inside the cab started yelling at me for flipping his truck. He said, “You dreamers are totally out of control!” He then backed up and drove away. I thought I better check next time to see if anybody is in a truck before I flip it.

I decided to go and investigate what was in the old country house. The house was full of young kids. Two young girls were smiling ear to ear when they saw me. They had real intelligent looking eyes. They both nodded at me in recognition, and I felt I knew them from somewhere. I then woke up, but my body was still asleep. I was consciously aware while asleep.

I was lying on my left side in bed, conscious, yet asleep. I could feel somebody laying on top of me, on my right side of my body. I was not alarmed by this. I then took my OBE arm and reached around and pulled the person in front of me and gave her a huge hug. As I did this, I heard a her voice say, “What?” It was my daughter! I told her I loved her.

    4. God Does Not Exist!

      by , 11-12-2014 at 08:25 PM
Many people have asked in their Lucid Dreams to meet God, so I figured I would give it a try. During one of my lucid dreams last summer, I was trying to find my daughter, but I was having no luck, so I decided to meet with God instead. I’ve never attempted to do this before in my 40 plus years of Lucid Dreaming. Before I begin, I would like to point out that I do in fact believe in God, have faith, but I have not been a strong, practising, church going person, though I grew up in a strongly religious home. I have full respect for God.

In a perfectly lucid dream I approached two dream figures. I said in a firm voice, “Where’s God? I need to meet with him.” They looked at each other, and the one dream figure said to the other, “What did he just say?” The other figure then said, “I think he said he wants to meet with God.” They chuckled at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and then looked back at me with a questioned look. I said, “Where’s God?” The first dream figure then pointed at a building that was under construction, and he said, “God’s in there.” I walked up some concrete steps and entered into a building that only had plywood on the exterior, and truly was under construction. It was a real mess. I searched for God room to room. Finally, on the second storey, I found a very old, withered man in a small, closet size, bedroom. The old withered man was under a tethered blanket. He was wearing an old blue parka and faded torn, blue jeans. His hair and beard were blondish grey, long, knotted and dreaded. He was wrinkled skin and bones. His eyes were closed, and he was unconscious. I felt sorry for him, whoever this abandoned old man was, and I scooped him up into my arms, in a cradled position, and I carried him out of the building. After I carried him outside I woke up from the dream. I was a little disappointed after I woke up that I didn’t find God in the building.

The following week I had another lucid dream about God. Suddenly, in the lucid dream, this same old guy, from the prior dream I described above, appears right beside on a park bench. He even has the same blue parka and jeans, but this time he looks much healthier. He looks straight into my eyes, and then raises his head to the sky and shouts, “GOD DOES NOT EXIST!” His eyes were a glowing baby blue colour. I’m so shocked by this I wake up. I start to think about what these two dreams were about. Maybe I did meet God, and maybe he is saying to me that my faith needs a little bit of work?

The following week, after the second dream, I was driving home from work (in the waking world) to have lunch. On the side of the road, sitting on a park bench, I see the same old man! He looked exactly same right down to the long greyish blonde dreaded hair and beard. He even had the same blue, winter parka. I’d like to point out, who wears a parka on a hot summer day? It was about 85 F. I drove right past him. He looked like a homeless man. That in itself is very strange, because there are no homeless people in this suburban neighborhood. I began to think that maybe God wanted me to stop and visit with this homeless man. Maybe that’s what these two lucid dreams were about? If there was some meaning behind these dreams, I didn’t want to blow it by simply driving by and ignoring him, so I immediately went and picked up ‘lunch for two’ at Tim Hortons. I have to admit I felt a little odd doing this, but it just seemed like the right thing to do. He was the most humble man I’ve ever met. His name was Paul. He even had the baby blue eyes like my LD. We sat for a ½ hour and discussed life in general. He was explaining how people are so busy trying to make money that they miss out on life itself. He said, “To enjoy life, you really don’t need anything. All you need is already here.” I asked him about wearing his winter parka when it’s so hot out, and he replied, “I never take it off.”

Later that night, I’m heading out to the cabin for the weekend (in the waking world), and I see his blue parka lying in the middle of the road, not far from where we had lunch. It made me think.
