Date: December 30 ||| Time Block: 9:45 AM to 10:15 PM ||| Length: 3 minutes. ||| Lucidity: level 3. ||| Entry Type: DILD ||| Major Methods: WBTB

Methods: woke up, went to the bathroom and got a drink, was resting in bed for about an hour trying new techniques, fell back asleep.

    Account:
I was standing on the street with two of my sisters, and I knew that I was dreaming. Excited, and seeing the sunny sky above, I jumped into the air and tried to go higher. I propelled myself up within seconds, all the way up into the clouds, and was traveling through them with the wind pressing in on my face. I looked down, but was so far up that I couldn't see the ground. I awoke in my bed, and attempted to fall back asleep.

I was back in the dream within seconds, back down at the same place on the ground. I jumped back into the air and kept going, enjoying the feel of the fresh air. Entering the clouds once more, I decided to try not going so high this time. I 'released' my will to go higher, and began falling back down. I caught a glimpse of the ground before I woke back up into my bed again.

Almost laughing with happiness, I tried entering my dream once more. Within seconds of visualizing, I was standing for a third time at the same location. This time, wanting to look down at the earth without going too high into clouds, I was more careful. Willing myself to rise less quickly, I got to a point just below the clouds, and I noticed that my subconscious mind was having some trouble keeping up. (when I first made it up there, there were hardly any clouds, but additional clouds "faded in" as my brain created the rest of the scene) I looked down at the earth, but it didn't yet have any details. It was basically just a large sphere, that was colored with blue and green. I lasted for a few more seconds, cruising just below the clouds, before waking up.

Now in bed, and thinking myself to be awake, I began to play a game on the iPad, and noticed that the game had been seriously updated. An entirely 2-dimensional game had been changed into one that was 3-dimensional, and I played with it and explored for about 5 minutes. I actually got involved in the storyline within the dream, zooming in at the different locations, and noticing how the graphics and such were designed. (I noticed that the 3d characters had the right structure, but their textures were just the old 2d textures pasted on as an overlay from the viewer's perspective, for example; or that, at the outskirts of the city there were undeveloped parts, which had construction signs and things to block them off; or a large building I noticed in the north east, in which a group had gathered for an event of some kind.)

Only after all this did I wake up for real, and discover that the three times I thought I had woken up I had actually had false awakenings! I had "went back to sleep" to have lucid dreams, when all I had to do was open the window and start flying!
