    Orbit Fail

    I had slight wakefulness but was really focused on WILD. I must have failed due to how long it was between dreams. However, it did feel like a WILD, but I am not sure what really happened. Either way a lucid is a lucid.

    I am in my house and I head straight out the front door and recall my goal to fly into orbit. It is raining. The smell of it is vivid. I notice I don't feel the rain and discover that I am wearing a hoodie with the hood up. I take it down wanting to feel the wet precipitation on my face but there is no sensation. Oh well, on with the task. I jump hard while doing a mighty force push against the ground. This effortlessly propels me fast into the sky while I look down. The ground drops away, then dark clouds, then atmosphere. I get a brief glimpse of the Earth before the dream crashes.

    Everything gets darker and super unstable. I put my hands out trying to focus on seeing the Earth from orbit, but I realize that I am back in my yard. Before me I see a large circle of red light with a ring around it. I notice someone getting in the car in the driveway in my peripheral vision but choose to ignore this. I focus on making the laser light show become a realistic representation of Earth but the dream quickly fades away.

      Short but very cool dream! Congratulations on getting that up from the Earth! It's so rare that I've gotten the chance to go far above the Earth, but it's always such a great experience, very exciting.

      Yeah thanks. I am just waiting for that awesome view and not some crappy imitation. Remember the clay moon?

      Ha ha, I do remember your trip to Saturn where it turned into a toy, ha ha... is this the same dream where the moon was made out of clay? Do you remember which dream this was?

      Hey, this points out that you don't do any dream journal tagging! I was going to hunt down all your dreams tagged with "moon" and research this personally!

      Ah. Well no but its the same problem. Things like planets seem to transform quickly. I have been bad at tagging, but I am trying to get better at it.

      I watch the ground drop away. The trees grow smaller and start to look like a blanket of green carpet then fades to a momentary darkness. I look forward and find myself in low orbit. I have a clear picture of the Earth's upper atmosphere as the sun begins to rise. I feel victorious and free. I close my eyes and relax my body enjoying the weightlessness of space. (I was doing that already but whatever)
