So virtually every website that I’ve studied has suggested B6 vitamins to help with dream recall and dream vividness. I gave in today and picked up a bottle so that I might try it out. Suffice it to say, it seems to have worked. My dreams were certainly way more clear, and I remembered more of them. I was getting better as it was, and this is just another nudge in the appropriate direction.

I was under the effects of a sleeping pill, so I’m anxious to try again tomorrow and see if the outcome is any different. Anyway, on to the dreams.

The first one finds me inside a video game. Yet at the same time, it’s reality. I’m partied up with someone; I’m pretty sure that it’s Willow. We’re mucking about, doing quests and whatnot, and we get stuck at some point. Some time later I realize that some of the buildings have back exits. Trying these exits in two different buildings both led to NPCs. The first of which was a woman, a gunsmith I think, that sold weapons. The second was an orc NPC that sold various items, including a +47% enchanting chest piece (which I was very excited out), stone gauntlets with red gems (that did either a burning effect or lightning on impact, I forget which), and some mage gloves that gave +mana and blue sapphires were in them. I was excited about the mana gloves too.

At the orc we decided to rest for the night. My partner slept up on the porch (that the building’s back exit led to) and I slept down on the ground below. The orc, being an NPC, just sort of stayed in his place on the porch. I warned them both that, with it being night time, we could be attacked by monsters even while resting. At one point I killed something that skittered across the ground and I ate it. Partner asks me what I’m doing, and I say I’m eating the brownie that I killed. And sure enough, I remember the brownie having actually turned into a baked brownie. XD

Then the Demon Knight came. A spectral enemy from the original Dragon Warrior on NES, with the same appearance. It was hard and it almost killed us all. In the end I had to call out to my partner to use Stopspell (another Dragon Warrior reference) to prevent it from healing itself while I kept it busy. After the Stopspell we whittled it down, and I let the orc NPC get the final blow. I find this strange because I remember making the conscious decision that the orc would get the final blow, and then it did. I don’t think I was lucid, but I think I was in control. Perhaps ‘cause the dream was still a “game”.

I apologize to my partner and the orc. I say that it’s my fault he came. Demon Knights can only see in the dark I tell them, not what’s in the light. But I’d been laying out in the dark instead of under the porch light because of my desire to lay on the ground instead of the wood of the porch. So I said it was my fault that he came for us.

(This farmhouse bit might be a different dream. I’m not 100% sure.)
At some point there was a big farmhouse with a lot of people inside it, a mean old lady included. I was trolling them pretty hard using my mage powers, and quite honestly I was tormenting them. I don’t remember much about this part other than the thrill of devastation that I felt in using my powers against these people.

And then we get to the walrus. We’re traveling through this field and there’s a tiny cliff near a river/lake ahead. There’s a walrus there, singing The Fox by Ylvis (there’s that song again). And it’s dancing around while it sings. Feeling quite merry, I join in with the walrus. (At this point it’s not really a video game anymore, just some strange reality.) So the walrus and I are running around, it playfully chasing me and it occasionally rolling down a small hill for fun while we sing. At some point it starts trying to bite at me and tack me, but still it’s all in fun. Somewhere during all this it turns into a hippopotamus. But then the biting and tackling start to become real. It’s trying to really hurt or kill me. I call out to Willow (who is 100% for sure with me at this point) but I guess the way I called for her to help me sounding impatient, or rude, or SOMETHING. Because she wouldn’t help me. She got mad at me instead. I scream and tell her that it’s going to injure me, it’s going to break my bones. She doesn’t help. I eventually get away (don’t remember how), and the dreams ends.

The next dream takes place in a house I don’t recall ever being inside of, and it involves a woman I can’t remember where I actually ever saw her in my waking life. The image of her is getting a bit blurry now anyway. But she was my roommate in the dream, and I loved her. She didn’t know this though. We were just friends. She was one of those people that seem incredibly crass and rude until you get to know her. Her overall figure somewhat reminds me of Other Mother from Coraline, after she gets all tall and mean-looking. She was tall and very pale, thin, with shoulder length black hair.

At some point during us living our daily lives, the neighbor does something nice for her. Helps her with something, gives her something, I don’t remember what. It’s hilarious too ‘cause the neighbor was a cartoon person that looked exactly like Leisure Suit Larry. I’m still getting a laugh over that. Anyway, he does something for her and she’s very thankful. So he asks her to hang out with him and have sex with him, and she says yes. (What the Hell, am I in Ride To Hell: Retribution right now?) They come to our house to do it, so I put on some headphones so that I don’t have to hear them and I start chatting online.

I tried to change my status to something rather depressing at this point but I couldn’t do it. The status kept coming out all wrong no matter how many times I typed it. Again with the not being able to write in dreams. There was something odd about my chat situation too, though I can’t remember now what it was. I do think I remember talking with someone named Samantha a lot, though.

Then it turns out that the whole thing with her sleeping with him had just been a dream. I mentioned it to her and she’s like “what are you talking about?” We talk for a moment, realize I had dreamed it, and then both share a good laugh. Around this time there was something about a bowl of potato soup on a barrel in the corner, but I can’t recall why it was important. Something about I’d eaten it IN the dream, but there it was in “real life”, but she explained why it was there. Then we made some food and sat on my bed, talking and laughing about the whole thing. Dream ends with us snacking and just babbling.

The last dream I remember was one where I woke up into my real life. For some reason the alarm clock had been unplugged. I got up to see what time it was, and was highly annoyed to find that it was almost 10pm. One hour ‘til I had to be at work. Frustrated ‘cause I felt like my night was shot, I asked Willow why she’d let me sleep so long. She said it wasn’t that late, and we looked at the computer clock (I think) and saw that it was still pretty early. Inspection showed that two different clocks in the house both showed the wrong time. (Every clock saying something different.. A big flashing “you’re dreaming!!” sign, right there.) For the sake of the dream though I guess, we just agreed that the computer clock WAS the right time and then everything was peachy keen. Willow laughed at me for being grumpy, I laughed at myself, and life went on. Dream ended.

    Work On:
–Write down every dream the moment I wake from it. Every time.

    Current Dream Signs:
    –Work
–Amy and Andy’s House (Perhaps Amy and Andy themselves as well? Unsure.)
    –Yylvis, The Fox
