I've decided to finally start a dream journal, but not a written one. Instead, I intend to regularly draw interesting scenes from my dreams, and post them here. I've decided to do this for a few reasons.

First, I have trouble sticking to a written dream journal, since it takes a long time for me to write out my dreams, it's not very fun to do,it didn't seem to have a very significant effect on my dream recall, and I don't think it's likely that I'd ever go back and read all of it. However, drawing my dreams is fun, helps me get better at art, creates something much more interesting than
a journal entry, and should help me to remember interesting scenes in my dreams, so I can learn to better gain inspiration for my art from my dreams. I'll probably write a little bit about the dreams the drawings are based on, but not much.

Wind storm, done with ink and oil pastels

This one comes from a dream I had earlier this week. There was a big storm, not quite a tornado or anything, but still dangerous, and I had decided to watch it from my garage, nearly getting blown away at times. Afterwards, I remember climbing around on top of my house, which had become a mansion.

Reflection in a lucid dream, done with pencil and ballpoint pen.

This one was from a couple days ago, from a short lucid dream containing nothing else of interest. The actual reflection wasn't anywhere near that dark, but I'm not used to drawing with ballpoint pen, and messed up on the shading on the face, and that was the only way I could fix it.
