      I'm Such A Klutz!

Seriously...I should change my name to Tonks, I'm the biggest klutz ever. Today alone I think I walked into two corners, ran into a door frame, knocked my elbow on a shelf, and fell down the stairs. I have many bruises. Last night I dumped a huge ass glass of ice water all over myself in bed, and had to sleep on the other side to avoid the wet spot.

Am I alone here or what? Any other fellow klutzes?

Yikes, you fell down the stairs? You're not suffering any lasting injury from that I hope...

I stub my toe a lot, does that count?

Edit: It's the bit about the ice water spillage, b12. It got me too. No worries.

hehe...leave it to you guys to make a girl feel sexy for being a stupid klutz

Oh and the incident with the water wasn't sexy in the least bit. Trust me, it's nothing like what's going on in your minds lol...

edit: oh, and I fall down the stairs all the time, lol it's not so bad, they are carpeted at least and I only slip and spill whatever I'm carrying all over the place...which is always either food, water, or clay sculptures (that last one is the worst to drop)

In all seriousness, though, Nina, guys find clumsiness hot. I think it's our protective instincts kicking in. Or something... Damsel in distress sort of thing.

Yeah, I can imagine dropping a clay sculpture you've just worked long and hard on would be rather frustrating.

Wow, that last sentence came out rather a lot more double entendre-ish than intended...

Do they? haha...I have to call BS on that. I think that guys think the IDEA of clumsiness in a girl is cute...but I don't think they'd actually want to date a girl that is accident prone lol.

I'm just going to stick to the slow-motion image in my head, thank you very much.

Oh sure, clumsiness is cute, but only when it ends in the girl making the ever so adorable pouty face.

From now on do that, and you're ultra-dateable!

Another klutz here! Just ask anyone who knows me... I am very accident prone. I haven't done anything really klutzy lately, but it's only a matter of time...

I was a klutz growing up, and still have the occasional fumble. Partly I maybe just grew out of it, but I also studied Tai Chi a bit and still do some Qi Jong (stretching and centering exercises), which really upped my body awareness. That plus 8 months of intensive and 4 years of off-and-on bartending built up my manual dexterity, and now I can juggle wine glasses and walk backwards talking to people without running into things.

So if clumsiness bothers you, you can get rid of it.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

I'm clumbsy at times, I dropped a steak knife on some one at work with mustard all over it, not only is that dangerous but it get mustard all over their new shirt.

I have also dropped wine glasses.

Also I get very close to other cars when driving. I tend to have a cut open up some where on my body atleast once a day.

Ok well somehow I manage to be klutzy and dexterous at the same time. Honestly, it confuses the hell out of me.

I was a helluva klutz, when I was younger. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised I've never had a broken bone, or gotten a stitch. With some of the crap that's happened to me, I'm surprised I'm not afraid to leave the house. Lol.

I'm a little more sure-footed now, though, so that's good.

unless you tripped with your pants down and just let go, I'm not sure that counts as clumbsiness.

Used to be, I had to go to the hospital as a child because I rammed a wall at full speed and I couldn`t open my eye from all the swelling. My parents were terrified to bring me in the woods too because I kept tripping on all the roots/branches . Anyways, sports put a stop to that, long live coordination!

Klutz is hawt in theory. In reality it just results in me tripping up in the street, my hair sticking up and my glasses falling down my nose.

      Utterly unhawt.

It sure as hell is cute, meh, even if i went out with someone who was accident prone i would still want to go out with them. I like to know that i am not alone in being clumsy.

I mean for gods sake, i tried to put a DVD in a VHS machine. Oh, and there was also the time i took myself out on one of them car barrier thingys, i was walking and i didn't look where i was going, next thing i knew was that there was not only blood but i had walked head first into the corner. I have a small dint in my skin from that But yeah, i'm very accident prone, i fell over my guitar on the bus today

No, they're right. By the way I like the new avatar.

Anywho, I've cracked my head open 3 times. At least I think that's the term. It's kind of:

Bump--> Big split in head with blood pouring out.

Oh also I've cut my finger open with an axe. That was probably the singular most clumsy thing I've ever done. There's a thread with pictures lurking around if you're interested/twisted.

      I'm never a klutz..ever.

Except in school, I'm the biggest klutz. And in my new school too, it's like I developed a horrible habit. I was never a klutz before this.

I never watch where I'm going and end up tripping over desks all ze time. O and stumbling on the stairs, fun stuff.

Whoa... I think that goes a bit beyond klutziness, ranma. Though my brother-in-law's brother-in-law once came come drunk and took a leak in the closet because he thought it was the toilet.

Ouch, that sounds painful Goldney. My worst cut was probably when I was twelve and laid my left index finger open with the double-cut saw on my SAK. That was cool...

      Sounds it!
My worst cut was because of my sister's clumsiness... she threw a boomerang at my eye. That wasn't so cool.

I'm normally not very clumsy, but I just can't get used to wearing a tie. It always goes in my yoghurt/soup/risotto/jelly/...

After pronouncing myself cured of klutzdom, I went airborne on an icy sidewalk today No harm done, though--I took the fall evenly along one side, and through a heavy coat.
