Welcome to the workshop! |

Hi, I am 17 years old an have been practicing lucid dreaming on and off for a few years. I used to have a quite a few lucids not really using and particular methods but was limited in what i could do in the dream. I have never really experienced a lucid where I am just absolutely in tune in the dream, aware, able to take it any direction i please. This is a goal of mine. |

Welcome to the workshop! |

hi i read the WILD Thing and i try and stop at least a few times a day and say a few sentences that help me questioin reality. I have had vivid recall but in my dreams i usually am either sorta involved in the dream or viewing it in 3rd person sorta like watching a movie. I try and do mantras before bed but my mind usually wanders |

I may take a little while for you to get into a habit of doing all the practice. |

hi i have recently had lucid dream when i come home very ttired and take a nap after school . i realize im dreaming halfway through the dream cause somthing weird will happen and i know it must be a dream. then i get really excited and reality check by looking at my hands which have another finger. i proceed to dream but usually wake up afterword. is there a way to prolong the dream? |

First thing you should do, is not to get too excited in a dream. It's easier said than done. After you have a few more lucids, you hopefully won't get so excided. That's what wakes up most people. |

ok, so i seem to have most of my lucids when i nap. I really want to experience a full lucid dream during a 8 hour sleep cycle. there are so many things i want to do!! what is the best technique for me. I want to develop a regular practice of some technique that will produce lots of lucid dreams. what is the best technique for me. |

Best chance I would say is DILD. Keep up with your practice, get really in habit of doing it. Don't forget to put genuine emotions into awareness and RCs. |

The reason why you LD so much doing naps is because you have natural REM cycles during the late afternoon (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) as well as late at night. Like Gab, I suggest DEILD, because it requires little to no preparation. However, the more complicated induction techniques are more reliable, because DEILD occurs naturally almost at random. The disadvantage to more complicated techniques like WILD and MILD is that they take a hell of a lot more practice and frustration then DEILD. My advice is to look at each technique that interests you, look at which suits you the best (Amount of commitment, how it relates to your schedule, etc.) and then choose one. This isn't to say that you should commit yourself to one, if you want you can do that, but experiment with each and see which ones are keepers. I don't know a quarter of as much as Gab and Hukif/the dream quides that aren't involved with this course, but the people that can help you the most (Besides yourself) are them. |

thanks guys ive definetly been out of pratice with a busy schedule. it doesnt take that much commitment irealize though. if ican just commity to 3 simply things, drema journaling, reality checks and perhaps a mantra before bed. maybe im better off. in any case i am going to experiment more with mild, ive never really given it a fair shot |
